Priyanka Chopra-Deepika Padukone In Race To Bag Vijay's Next?

The casting process of Vijay's next movie has begun with bang. Director Chimbu Devan has started the process by approaching big names from Bollywood to play the female lead role. He has offered the movie to Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. But nothing has been finalised yet.
Reports claim that Chimbu Devan short-listed a few names including Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. First, he approached the former, who is making her debut in Kollywood with forthcoming movie Kochadaiiyaan starring superstar Rajinikanth. The actress showed interest towards the project but demanded a huge paycheque.
Deepika Padukone reportedly asked Chimbu Devan's team to meet her demand in order to get her dates for the film. But the producer was concerned about the film crossing their budget limits. Hence, they knocked the doors of Priyanka Chopra.
Priyanka Chopra was impressed by the storyline and she was happy to return to Tamil films. It appears like they there were positive signs from the talks. And her demand was reasonable too. Hence, there are strong chances of movie bosses signing the Bollywood diva.
