See the audience does accept in non-masala flicks...like Salman in Tere Naam and SRK in Chak De. Chak De is like my favorite SRK movie that doesn't have that Rahul/Raj characterization. 😆 I really wish he forgets about CE-type movies and goes back to his Swades and CDI days. He has the calibre to do so.
Whereas, Salman is a weaker actor than the 3, but if he wants he can do emotional dramas and tragic love stories and he should. He needs to spice up with filmography b/c there's no growth as an actor from him.
Frankly speaking, Aamir is in his own league. As much as I adore and love SRK, Aamir is by far the superior actor and far more creative. D3 was an experiment on his part, an unsuccessful one in my eyes but I give him credit for trying it out. Maybe he'll won't do this again and will try something more along the lines of 3 Idiots and TZP. Aamir was never into this flaky, shallow stuff. I wonder what happened.
