I have been bashing the creatives for the last month or so but today after thinking through a lot of the recent episodes I am going to present my views in a more concise manner. BTW the moral of my story is still the fact that the creatives are a bunch of fools who have ruined something that could have been handled in a very good manner....so here goes...
Clues we sorta missed:
1. Last week, in one of the episodes where Pia confesses to Bani that she knows that her child is conceived with none other that JW himself. At this point, she made a very profound declaration - he will never accept my child, what shall I do.
Then again in another episode, she declares that she will make sure JW marries her and gives her child legitimate status.
Somehow to me, though not at a very conscious level were indicative of her upcoming role and to an extent sowed the seeds of doubt that her amnesia could be fake.
Inference: In not so many words, Pia had declared her intentions.
2. Also in the same episode, Tarun declares his love for Bani. I have to š for PS for the amazing performance in this episode. Despite my dislike for a possible TB marriage, yesterday's episode convinced me that if there is someone who can support Bani right now (I am not including Munna here yet) it is this man. As much publicized, I felt his love is true. Also, what I first considered a result of his so called "disease", now seems like a genuine concern for Bani's welfare to me. For crying out loud, he is the only guy who stood up to JW on his face.
I personally dont want Pushkar as the support person based on the episode where he basically makes Pia go to Bani to get answers about who the father is. If he were a true friend, he would have accepted the child. At the very least, he would not have put Bani in a situation where she has to cook something up or let Pia know that her own husband is the father of her sister's child. Knowing Bani, he should know that Bani is not going to let Pia know that she had indeed raped JW and not the other way around.
Inference: Tarun makes a better support system for Bani, not only because he loves her, but because he will be able to fight anyone for her sake.
Descrepencies/ Bloopers:
1. Last night, in US the episode shown was the one where Bani first finds out about Jannat Apts (JA). In this episode, she is deliberately being pushed towards this place.
At the same time, Karuna fights with Jigs about the promise Jigs made to Pia. Basically Jigs told Pia that she will help Pia marry JW. So at this point, it is evident they were not hand in gloves.
Inference: Something happened between this scene and Karuna's appearance at JA to convert her into the "bad" one.
Analysis of JB:
1. Bani's Perspective: Bani reacted as anyone would. The man who she loved, who professed his love to her over and over and over again, promised to be by her side through all good and bad, who she had caught red-handed at the incriminating place in a burkha, declared her mentally unstable. Not in private, not amongst family, but infront of the world. To the extent of even accepting that her "disease" could have made her kill someone.
The direct result of this was her being sentenced to a Mental Asylum (MA) for the next 5 years, without being given a chance to prove her mental capacities or a professional opinion.
And the next thing we know, the trauma induces premature labor and we witness the birth of JB kids, the living proof of their love. But in what conditions? In a rat infested, unhygenic jail cell. The children of India's premier business magnet were born in a jail cell....I dont know what I feel about this.
To make things worse, her children were taken away from her and that too by none other than her beloved husband.
Inference: If she decides to take a revenge on him, I will not bash her. Given what she has seen, her actions will be validated.
2. Jai's Perspective: This man has time and again seen the consequences of his wife's penchant for Bondgiri. He has also witnessed her being used and abused by her darling sister Pia and the other GFNs. So this time, he warned her time and again when she brought Pia home and also when she started investigating JA raaz.
This man has also been on the receiving end of Bani's love for Banigiri and following pravachans made by below from beyond. Her claim for divorce and alimony broke him and made him realize his love for her. Her love for her sisters and his family, showed him the similarities between them two. Her comatose state, made him turn into a heartless human, only to make sure she lives on. He has suffered at her hands and yet loved her unconditionally. The main reason because he trusts her love for him and respects it.
Another this man has witnessed and experienced is being blackmailed by Pia. And this is something I fail to understand. When he was such a good learner on the previous two counts, why did he fail here? Why did he fall pray to Pia's blackmailing once again? Why has Pia and likes of Jigs been so successful in making a putty out of this man who was once the most feared person in his household?
Today we saw a broken man, a man who knows he had wronged his wife and his children. A man feeling so helpless that he was on his knees infront of the woman who has raped him.
(I do not want to go into the discussion of how he was wronged by the other GFN's and yet he supported them. Its just too painful)
Inference: A once strong man, fell in love. And I mean FELL in love. Love made him weak and vulnerable.
Analysis of the events of the last few days:
So a number of us has guessed that Bani would be framed for Sahil's murder. We also have concluded that for some unknown reasons, the power that be, want to make Pia a very prominent part of the serial and at the cost of JB.
And we were right. Bani was arrested. What surprised us was that Jai gave evidence against her. And to make things worse, we were led to believe that he did not do anything to save Bani from going to the MA. Instant death of JW for a lot of us (character assasination at its best, if I may add).
The next thing we witness is Bani's plight. Her reaction to the biggest betrayal of her yound life. This made a lot of us weep blood. The after math of this being the death of the nice Bani who was made a hardcore business man like JW melt. Next thing we will be witnessing is the changed and avenging Bani. I am not sure how I would like it, but will just go with the flow for the time being.
We also get to witness the one thing we were looking forward to for the last 10 months. Albeit, in a situation that made us cringe. The arrival of the living form of JB's love, was brought into the world in the most despicable of the conditions. And to make things worse, they were immediately snatched away from their mother. Need I say what this broke?
By this time, all of us were drawing daggers at JW, at the same time wishing and hoping and praying that there be a very good reason for this behavior. And what are we made witnesses too?
The Kansa in this Krishna Janam is none other that one of the masi's and the two buas. The trio together hatched the plan to send Bani to the loony bin and break JW in the worst possible manner. And the reason:
- Pia wanted the name and fame of being Mrs. Jai Walia. Jigs wanted the money of Jai Walia.
- Karuna wanted to avenge the women who unknowingly and without intention was the cause of her daughter's heart break by a man who was medically proven to be a sufferer of OCD.
JW was blackmailed by his rapist and wife's sister to prove his wife mad in order to save her from a possible death sentence. The evidence being a video tape of the murdered incriminating Bani along with some other flimsy circumstancial evidence.
And our hero complies. He turns into the worst husband possible and to make matters worst (read to make us sympathetic to him) we see him begging his rapist to not torture his wife and children more.
The latest bomb dropped on us is the possibility of a JP marriage, which I am confident, will be last blow for Bani, however she will not be aware of the fact that the marriage never really happened.
And Tadaā¦the leap is hereā¦
Inference: JB are separated. B hates J, J is guilty. P is still going to torture J. TRPS rose. The pathetic means achieved the desired end of high TRPs, JB sepreation, and Pia prominence. Bravo creatives and the power that be for a job well doneā¦
Could this have be done any differently:
The answer is yes. The least that would have happened is not show JW as a wimp. I mean the thought of a 40 year old, business tycoon, on his knees, begging to a 20 something year old for the wellbeing of his family is very hard to digest. Given that once upon a time, he had made the life of this very same woman a living hell.
They could have shown him working in the background to save his wife, while appeasing the blackmailer in the foreground. Maybe, he was being watched, but he could have used someone trust worthy but an outsider like Pushy. I don't knowā¦anyone who could have not had a problem being of help to JB.
Jai could have told Bani when she caught him at JA??? Maybe he was buggedā¦but seriously do you think they are smart enough to come up with microphones on JW??? Noā¦no wonder they did not think of the simple solution eitherā¦
Future Predictions:
Based on the story so farā¦.and the addiction of those who can make a differenceā¦here is what I would expect (some of you have already mentioned this in countless pointsā¦so thanks to all)
1. Tarun will be back on Monday/ Tuesday and will go meet Jai. Expect a confrontation hereā¦again Jai will be shown to be a RBā¦to keep pretenses
2. Tarun will bring the news of JP marriage to Bani...which will break her down completelyā¦maybe this will be the first step to TB angle
3. JP marriage will be scheduled for Tuesday/Wednesday
4. Rano/ Pushy will take the children (atleast one of them) to Bani for a visit.
5. This is where the news of Bani's death will come in with the child tooā¦
6. Thursday we will find out JP never married, but Jai kept all the three witches around to torture them
7. And at the same time to give the third child (frog) a name as per Bani's wish
8. Bani will be aiming her revenge on JW and misunderstandings galoreā¦Jai will assume her married to Tarun and Bani will assume him married to Pia
9. And I think Pia rani will actually add fuel to the fire by making her believe this
10. Oh yes Sahil will be back by this time
My personal favorite will be if JW helps her escape and she comes back once Jai has proven that Bani is innocent/ Sahil is alive. The two will then take their revenge together.
But knowing the fact that the people who are writing are a bunch of juvenile delinquents (thanks Bavie) who probably never had any formal education and the people who approve (I mean the bosses or people who have the power to curb this kind of nonsense) their writing seem to have gone through very traumatic childhoods (maybe something similar to whats being dished in the serials made by them), my expectations are pretty low...
