Rudra's mind games are taking psychological warfare to another level. But Paro ne bhi kacchi goliyaan nahi kheli hain. She openly declares she doesn't trust him. So he goes softer, donates a rather pretty feminine shawl ( Masi ka tha ya Laila ka?) and gives her bus fare. Too bad for him, the baisa is smarter than she looks. She caught on. Again, with the help of a mirror. In her lehenga. Resourcefulness ise kehte hain. Those sequins/mirrors must be extra large for her to see their faces so clearly.
I liked Samrat too. But I do wish men would speak up againt injustice sooner. They never say anything, whether it's for their wives or their mothers. Just let the drama play out. I was touched when he wiped her tears. But seriously, say something so your mum stops making venomous jibes at her. Sumer is so creepy, and there's something inherently disgusting about him. I think he'll probably get attracted to Paro. It will just add to the list of his phaddas with Rudr.

And the reason Paro reacts to his proximity is because she has never been this close to a man all her life, as you pointed out. It's not some attraction, which would be very random given the circumstances.He , on the other hand, has frolicked around quite a bit. And he has a hands-on attitude during interrogations, which makes him pretty immune to proximity.
On another note, I wish they'd stop playing the song everytime the two look at each other. nd reserve it for deserving moments, like the first meet, the time they saw each other in the wedding , when they faced off during the skirmish. And of course the epic one way mirror scene.

Rudra is a pragmatist and i think this is just the tip of the iceberg that he is going to unleash on Paro, Rudra's layers have made Paro discover her layers too - she has realized that she has a voice, that she can be fearless and she can give it back too. Good discoveries. She will need all this to live with Rudra and tackle him.

Baby, just how many hubbies can we recall who can tell their mothers that they are wrong? Or how many sons who tell their wives to shut up and behave well with their mothers? ... The show is portraying a very realistic picture. A man and a woman strike balance and form a home. When you keep quiet and the other one gets dominant, Ekta Kapoor's soaps happen.

Sumer will regret eyeing Paro. Rudra will do a deewaar-mein-anarkali with him if he goes behind Rudra's Paro.
