Jenifer is now my friend: Gautam Rode
Almost a year after Saraswati Chandra's journey Gautam Rode aka Saras now feels that Jenifer Wingett aka Kumud is his friend not just an acquaintance. Saraswati Chandra has started shooting Saras and Kumud's wedding sequence and amidst all this Saras-Kumud chemistry was quite noticeable. These days they are often seen indulging in off-screen fun and masti.
When asked about their off-screen relationship, Gautam says "After one year of show now I can say that Kumud and I are friends. Initially I used to say that Jenifer is just an acquaintance but now we are more than that. Too much has been written about our relationship but the truth is that our equation was always good as actors though we were not good friends."
Jenifer smiles at Gautam's statement and says "How sweet, I like that. The fact is that I have my own personal life and Gautam has his own. We are Kumud and Saras on sets but not in real life. It took time to break the ice between us. But now we are quite comfortable as friends." Also these days Saras and Kumud are quite exited about their upcoming wedding. They have shot the promo in beautiful sherwani and lehenga respectively and now all set for the big day."
Saras joking says "Just in a year the tagline of our show "Mukkamal Mohabbat ki Adhuri Dastaan" has changed. This time for sure Saras and Kumud will get married. I am really excited about it." Jenifer aka Kumud says "Yes we are getting married and adhuri dastaan will be complete but there is another twist waiting for the viewers, so just wait and watch."
