Is Farhan's BMB performance overrated?

Since the prior topic Salman Khan going spiritual and reinventing himself went to the dogs, changing the topic. So, some are saying Farhan was amazing in BMB and deserved the awards this year. Others are saying he is overrated. What is so overrated? 😕 He did an amazing job and looked hot. ☺️ 😉 Is Farhan's BMB performance overrated?

Easily the most overrated performance in several years. Building a body doesn't make you a good actor. There was this one scene where he had to cry in the movie, probably the only difficult scene in the movie and he couldn't pull it off. Whatever though, people will look back at his performance years later and realize what I'm saying...

So looks like I am not the only one. I loved the film overall, but there was nothing exceptional about his performance.. I mean he couldn't even speak Punjabi properly.

The film and the performance both. I've seen better from Mehra. I felt like he sold himself out with this one.

Funnily I watched the movie yesterday for the second time and I agree with you now... his performance was good but not the best. Like I could tell he is just acting, I never felt for a minute that yes this is Milkha Singh.

First viewing can amaze people due to storyline etc. but second viewing where you analyze their acting alone, makes you think something is missing.

Also Divya Dutta is the one who stole the show completely...her performance was better than Farhan's. I cried with her throughout those emotional scenes.
