Pinkvilla posted this today, although I cannot stand racist people and I really hate when these things happen. Somehow after watching the video of Priyanka talking about this; I didn't really believe her, it seemed like an attention-grabbing tactic to me 😕

And why her? Theres been so many other Indians who have gone global...Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya, Freida Pinto, etc...How come no one calls them terrorists? 😕

I don know - but I find it a bit hard to believe, your thoughts?e

it could be true. But I don't understand why she would be called an "Arab terrorist? She neither has a Muslim name or looks like an Arab. At least Srk had a Muslim name.

There's a lot of ignorant people out there 😊 I think pretty much everyone living in the West, regardless of their ethnic background, has experienced some sort of racist name calling. It's not very far-fetched. Some people just brush it off, but since she was asked about it, I think she just mentioned whatever she had encountered in her experience. As I'm sure people like Aishwarya, Anil and Freida have too. Whether they might have been explicitly asked about it, talked about it in repsonse, brushed it off and out of their memory, or it has been given media attention is just variable.

I liked her answer. You just have to brush off what people say, especially in this day and age of what the internet culture or social climate of the world is. Lots of things unrelated to you are associated with you or thrown at you...but you gotta keep doing your thing. That's the only way to move on and move forward.

As long as you're brown, majority of the time they think you're Muslim. Sikhs and Hindus get called that a lot by ignorant people.

We'll don't want to play colour. Ard but she is brown and has a dark complexion and racism still persists in USA! From outside it might look jolly peaceful but from inside people still diss dark people!

After what happened to Miss USA which was also an Indian... And the hate she got, I don't think Priyanka will be saying this thing of promotion tactic! She might have been getting all hate mails...
