@Shell16 I partially agree with what you said. I thought the first part where Vikram tells Sugni about love was perfectly fine and MAGICAL. His expressions were so perfect and the way his eyes were glued to her... It was all so perfect!

The dance and touch was amazing too and so romantic but I felt like he shouldn't have done that. It def did seem like he was trying to seduce her. It would've made more sense if he did that later on. Right now, it's just too early. Sugni hasn't had enough time to take in his confession and now this... (But the scene was awesome!).

Ok back on topic now..., Let's not forget the symbolic "Sardhakai" that Vikram accidentally (or accidentally on purpose perhaps???) did on Sugni while throwing his "Lucky" cravat scarf to Sugni when she was attempting to start her stage show. Uuugg you really think he did that on purpose?


Which means that I think that it will not be possible for them to marry for both opposition from within HIS own family (Jiji, Haldi, Adi) & society as I don't see the Thakurs of Mahuari agreeing to it without casting both of them out of their midst.

We were also led to believe that Vikram has political aspirations (and..., you gotta start somewhere after all to get to the heights you aspire to). All this leads me to believe that it can only end in heartache for Sugni, & if he's true, then Vikram too. Perhaps they'll meet when she gains some experience in the world (but she's like 18 now & he's in his late 30's - a bit on the 'eeewww' side for me, I am trying to ignore the age difference because if I thought about it ... I would really be grossed out. I should be against this relationship on principle...why do men only want young things... but I love watching them together.

🤢 but love's blind I guess - so, I don't know how much, or even if, a geriatric relationship would be palatable to people. On the flip side of that, Mother's & Father's, heck even some grandma's hardly look older than their kids on T. V. in India. I wish they'd pass some of their fountain of youth onto the rest of us!!! 😆) I would like some of that! Lol!

Sugni will probably end up making her fortune in the city where she'll meet up with Vikram again... (hope I'm not giving any ideas to the creatives here, I would like to see their version unfold actually). Whether they both remain single by then is the question. Most likely we still see history repeating with her being single & Viks married. The more complicated it is, the more spice the story adds after all. 😉

Yes I admit it was at this point that the cogs in my brain started spinning...is he playing with her...and it is at this point my thoughts splt into two...one side saying "Nooo, he knows her dreams, he knows that she wants to be different, in fact he himself chastised her, if you can remember when he saved her from the Vile Thakur who was about to attack her, when she went to dance in Gulabiya's place...So how /why would a man with such principles play with her dreams like that??? makes no sense to me...
I know! that is why it is more heartbreaking now that he is starting to show his true self to the viewers. And everything he has done so far could be interpreted differently in hindsight. Even his chastising her...before it was like...he understands her and is disappointed in her but now it could mean he was upset that she was making herself available to other men when she should be mine. And it is interesting how he manipulated the other thakurs from leaving her alone in that scene. Without getting his hands dirty.


Then on the other hand...he dose have feelings for her no doubt...and he just wants to make sure that she feels the same way, a verbal confirmation if you will, before going "public" as we all know that will be a big drama by itself , from the house people to the, community ect.
hmmm have my doubts. The dance and the followup scenes on Friday really mean only one thing. He is playing her even if his feelings are real.

Add to that the episode when he unconciously , (that is my belief and I am sticking to it) did her sardahkai...hmmm send us further into confusion about this Thakur Saab
Gotta give props the the writers fro keeping us on the edge of our seats thinking, wondering, hoping ...
Someone else mentioned as well that the sardahkai was perhaps accidentally on purpose! That is really creeping out more! 😕

Will it be a case of Lust clogging the brain sending him crazy, clouding his reason? will it be that he is ashamed/ afraid to admit his feelings publicly because of what happened to his sister, or because of politics, which will only lead to heart break for poor Sugni either way...Ahhh
Ohh I can handle any of that as long as Adi is out of that Jodi ... guess we have to wait and watch!
