What was that dance? It was way too sexy! What were you thinking! What were you trying to do? Were you trying to seduce Sugni?

The dance, the touch, the looks .. .it was all very sexy. But at the same time we can see that, Vikram, you're doing it all very deliberately. Every move you made was very calculated and practiced. There was nothing spontaneous and the intent was clear it was to seduce young innocent Sugni. Which she was completely (along with most of us on the forum) she was swept away with emotion, passion, her first attraction to a man. *is it hot in here or is it me?*

Vikram, you're no innocent, you planned it all out at a very basic level. If your intentions were pure you don't do what you did. i am no prode but Sugni is right not before marriage and not with a girl with a background like Sugni's. if you respected her wishes you wouldn't have tried to seduce her, even emotionally, which you did completely.

She says I don't know anything about love and, Vik you said - you need to get to know me. But you took a very sensual way for you to get to know each other in a house where there is no one around? That is not the way to get to know a girl. There are lots of other ways.

The story hasn't revealed your true motives...what do you want? are you just playing and amusing yourself with Sugni? Because what you did isn't what you do with a girl you intent to marry.

I feel like Gulabiya. I am really afraid for Sugni. She is building all her girlish dreams of a prince with Vik and we know that, Vik , you're no prince and in fact in life there are no princes who come to rescue girls like Sugni. They need to fix whatever is wrong in their lives themselves. I am really scared that you're going to break more than just her heart. You're going to crush her hopes, her dreams and so much more.

I hope that at some point the story comes back to you and your redemption because as a character I really like you and as an actor I really enjoy Varun.

I don't really care for the Adi storyline. I have no sympathy for him! In fact I don't like him.

Vikram please smarten up. We need you to remain the way you are the man (not boy) that Sugni chooses at a later point when you're at equal footing not as a prince charming come to rescue her!

Shell, maybe you're not aware but many articles indicated that Vikram was going to turn out to be a villain all along...today's epi sort of confirmed that in my opinion...the entire dance and seduction routine with the candles and all was just CREEPY to me and left a bad taste in my mouth...there is no doubt at all now that Vikram just appears to be lusting after Sugni...and was manipulating her in some sense all along I guess...that is way they have sadly chosen to take the story.

Can't stand Adi either...they should have picked a better actor to play him if it was such a pivotal role...this guy gets on my nerves.

The scene was amazing! Without any vulgarlarity, nakedness and cheapness we were all speechless, swooning and breathless. We could feel the tension and passion in the swirling around the room and we were getting giddy and weak...TVS knows how to charm and seduce a woman.
I don't see TVS as taking advantage of Sugni. If you recollect the scene where she was dancing in the rain to O Re Piya - in his dream TVS returned Sugni's dupatta - he never took it off her - he graciously gave it back. This action says a lot of how he views her. At the same time he is a man who has weaknesses and desires; he is also a man who is mature and experienced about love. He's in his 30s and defintely this is not the first time he has tried to impress a woman. He wants Sugni to see him as human being and not a God whom she fears to love and even views it as sinful.
He made some valid points about love to Sugni and used this as a night to invite her into opening up to herself. When the moment came where they were about to kiss and she pulled away from him; he apologized and explained himself. He NEVER forced himself on her and Sugni knew that she had the permission and freedom to leave at anytime.
The scene with the keys were cute and a test. If Sugni did not have feelings for TVS, she would have taken the keys but he saw that she did and she was afraid of him and herself.
I really hope TVS is not trying to take advantage of her - there is too much to say that he is not and that's why we are so in love with his character. He is a sincere charmer - the kind of guy we want to see for a change rather than the typical financially strapped, immature, impulsive, annoying, rona dona, gissa pitta television hero. Such a refreshing change. The problem is that most strong characters on Indian television are negative and that is why we are struggling to accept TVS.

@AreYaar - its Shelly

Yes I had read those articles but sometimes the characters and the story or the "pen" takes the writer in a different direction then the original intention. Was hoping for a different outcome.

When I saw the posts regarding the dance I had no idea how it could have possibly come about but after watching the episode I was not expecting what it was. I was extremely uncomfortable.

You're so right about the casting for the Adiya role. He is over shadowed by Varun and the other actors. He is having a hard time connecting with the audience.

Let's see how this progresses and if this will be my last week watching this show. Will have to find something else to amuse myself with in the evenings!

PS - I am a fan of your posts on the NBT forum. :)

I am sad that it was Vickram that turns out to be the Creepy one. The one manipulating her all along. Sugni needs to have her heart broken. She still believes in a prince charming who will rescue her. She needs to learn some very hard lessons. This story is not about someone saving you but a girl's "coming of age" and winning despite her circumstances...overcoming the fate that she was born with or into. Breaking all the barriers herself.

If this becomes a love story then the show completely loses its value. Yes I too am a romantic and would like Sugni to find someone and am hoping that happens at the end of the show when Sugni has reached the heights that she needs to . I am sad that Vickram is going to be the one breaking her heart. I really hope he redeems himself at a later point.

That was a very beautiful scene Asthetically...but I doubt that he was just trying to seduce Sugni...I think this goes much deeper...He wasnt just seducing...he was Sweeping her completely off her feet...That dance...That Ambience...the dream like romance...his beautiful poetic words...his compelling eyes...the almost kiss...and the gentlemanly apology after that...that was meant for Sugni to completely fall in love with him...no turning back...Thakur Vikram Singh is a dangerous dangerous man.
This is a very high game he is playing...no doubt he will turn grey (I will still ❤️ him...Varun just does that to you 😍) ...the man doesnt even breathe without prior thought...this whole scheme of his definitely has something behind it...I wonder what that is...I mean it cant be to demean Jwala singh...that man has no emotional connection to anyone...let alone Sugni his bas***d child...so Then why is Vikram doing what he is doing???
If I was Sugni...I would be very very afraid of him (hell, as much as I admire the guy, I am still terrified of him) ...His easy charm...his truthful speeches...his support...those looks...this disarming quality...and the ability to be her Knight in shinning armor, whenever she needs one...these things are bound to break down a persons defenses...even someone as realistic and practical as Sugni...its almost like he knows what she needs in her life...his perfection in creating equality and understanding her and her self respect so easily...this is designed to get under her skin...its to enchant her heart and mind so thoroughly, that she wouldnt question his motivation twice...he is generating blind faith in her...my question is Why??
Adi...if only Sexy Eyes was a Better Actor *sigh*...his character has potential...and I think he is a good actor in his own right...but with people like, Varun and Narayani and Sugni...they eat him alive!! *SMH*

Laila & deviladvocate

I agree with your completely and amazing job in summing up the scene.

I for one love the dance it didn't creep me out at all. We all know TVS is a man not a boy to be doing chori chori chupke chupke with sugni 😆. TVS already said he doesn't do anything he doesn't plan ahead for so there wasn't any manipulation there his family were going out and took advantage of the situation cause if he left it to Sugni the girl would never come around. TVS saw it in Sugni eyes she felt something when she touched his hands for the keys and he want her to let go and embrace her feelings.

Don't know what will happen tomorrow but I've lost myself to TVS cause the character and Varun is that amazing.

I don't want anyone to be unemployed but Adi is a central character and the actor just doesn't fit here with the caliber of Varun & Narayani. Gulki is still a new comer and she excels gosh the entire ensemble cast fit there roles perfectly except him. If cv want to stay with this actor then we don't need a love triangle let him stay with Amrita cause is more tolerable.

Vikram 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 Dance was 😳😳😳😳😳
But seeing the dance i was like 😲😲😲😲..i really have to see it again & i felt he has feeling for sugini & he want the same from her ..i dont think he can let her go from his life . He made her understand what he wants in very clear way and expected the same without giving her time either he know sugini will not let her heart open for him as she think he is god & not another human ...somewhere he got carried way when he felt sugini in his arms ..he said sorry too . He might lust her , love her ..dont know but when they are together screen burns with there chemistry .
As far as ADI goes i feel he suits with amrita & leaving her would be same as vikram being married ..so his character should be either supportive but not falling in love with sugini.

I had my doubts the day I saw TVS educate Adi on how to handle women - get their trust and all the blah.
And today this.
The whole dance was totally planned by him. However much he wanted to show he was in love, it wasn't working out for me. A wise, altruistic man would not do and say what he did today. It was creepy for me as well. Did not like it a bit and also did not like the fact that TVS was being turned negative.
Already I am irritated by the lack of attention to details in this show and if they turn TVS negative, I might stop watching this show. I less headache.

p.s: O re piya, though a slow song wasn't suiting western dance IMO.
