I'm going to put it out there...This is what my gut has been thinking ever since he professed his love to Sugni...He detests her father...what better way to get back at Jawla Thakur (I think I misspelt his name) than to make his daughter your bedni or wife.😕 Even if JT doesn't give Sugni recognition it will still hit the nail on the head!

Vickram's character is brilliant. Even though they are taking it in the wrong direction Varun does a wonderful job with it. Touching her definitely crossed the line and is a turning point in the show where the viewers now know what is going on. Sexual attraction is so easy to mistake for love as it clouds your better judgement. Here Vickram is using it for his own purpose.

It is so hard to tell. They haven't given too many clues for his motivations. It would make sense if he makes her his bedni.. that would be an insult to Jawal. Making her his wife wouldn't be the same impact.

I suspect it is as base and crass as he wants her ...and wants it all...heart, mind, body and soul. There is something very heady about having a young beautiful girl completely consumed by you!

But we are speculating ... I am taking a wait and see approach.

Which means that I think that it will not be possible for them to marry for both opposition from within HIS own family (Jiji, Haldi, Adi) & society as I don't see the Thakurs of Mahuari agreeing to it without casting both of them out of their midst.

We were also led to believe that Vikram has political aspirations (and..., you gotta start somewhere after all to get to the heights you aspire to). All this leads me to believe that it can only end in heartache for Sugni, & if he's true, then Vikram too. Perhaps they'll meet when she gains some experience in the world (but she's like 18 now & he's in his late 30's - a bit on the 'eeewww' side for me, <font color="#000099">I am trying to ignore the age difference because if I thought about it ... I would really be grossed out. I should be against this relationship on principle...why do men only want young things...

Can't help but speculate how audiences in india would react to a Cougar relationship ever being essayed on the small screen in a serial? Our society is so damn chauvinistic, it sees nothing wrong with a 15-20 yr age gap as long as the older one is the male. Turn the tables & I really would love to see how it would go down!

On the flip side of that, Mother's & Father's, heck even some grandma's hardly look older than their kids on T. V. in India. Sugni will probably end up making her fortune in the city where she'll meet up with Vikram again... (hope I'm not giving any ideas to the creatives here, I would like to see their version unfold actually). Whether they both remain single by then is the question. Most likely we still see history repeating with her being single & Viks married. The more complicated it is, the more spice the story adds after all. 😉

Thx! Maybe the creatives should hire me to come up with storylines for them in the future, we could provide some fresh perspective to the usual 'ho hum' typical storylines that we always see 😉 😆. I hate that usually they start serials off really well but as it progresses they end up ruining things by falling back on typical scenarios of people plotting to harm one another for some asinine motive or the other! 🤢
