I sort of buy into the philosophy if you love someone set them free, if they come back to you they are yours if not they never were. I don't t think Abeer needs to do anything. Meher will never marry Akshat. She pushed herself to get engaged because Abeer came on too strong and she got scared of succumbing to her feelings again. I feel like the harder he pushes the more she runs away. His engagement to Sasha didn't work because he still kept pushing. i feel like the moment he starts walking away again she will come running after him. She is the one that came to Groove. But I do think pushing the way he does is disrespectful. The excuse that she loves him isn't enough she is saying no. Because she doesn't have to be with him because she loves him.

Making love to someone is about wanting to be close to someone emotionally. Abeer and Meher are not close emotionally. They don't respect each other, they don't understand each other.

Meher asked very nicely to Abeer that he should keep distance because their son is being affected. Did he listen? He barged in an encouraged an argument in front of Ishaan. I cannot see that Abeer cares for either Meher or Ishaan by doing that. And Meher telling Ishaan that his first father is bad-😡

I expect better.

Just looking at your DP reminded me of what I was expecting in starting days of the show, CV's gave a beautiful cover page but ...what their book gave me is not that beautiful for me so far..may be this is only my problem or may be just a very very few of us... I was just thinking over the same concept of what is love... They brought up the prince and princess story. For me the love is in what the prince that let go did. And the princess realized what he had done for her well being and respected that. That's why she chose him. They both put each other in the other person's shoes and thought from their perspective.

Have you ever read Gift of Magi? For me that's love. Sacrificing what's important to you to fulfil what is important for the other person.

So, I just read the summary of Gift of Magi in some online site and reserved the book for my reading list. And whatever the summary I read was enough for me to feel for Della and Magi❤️
