I have to agree to a large extent with your post. It's kind of clear that this Jagratha track was inserted randomly since it doesn't really follow the narrative pattern of the show, with flashbacks etc. The slight carelessness in characterization and lack of office scenes and flashbacks is valid cause for anxiety that we are headed down a slippery slope. 😕
But the good news is that all is not lost since they have only compromised one day in the main story-line. To be fair to the CVs, they did show Meher go back to the office the day after the Pinky fiasco was finished (when she gave Rati that talk about professionalism in the work-place) and she told them that Abeer would be back when his face healed. I got the impression that the Jagratha was the day after that and even that day, Meher was ready to go to the office but was stopped at the last minute by her mom... and that day still hasn't ended. So they have ample opportunity to go back to the original rhythm, which I sincerely hope they do once this jagratha business is finished!
The Suman thing didn't bother me as much. The way I see it, Suman has had her share of flaws from the beginning and she has always been a pretty typical Indian mother. That doesn't undermine her strength but defines the nature of it. Her strength lies in her patience and this has both advantages and disadvantages, just as Bua's strength in her pride and self-worth does. She did plead with Shyam to leave when he followed her into the room and it's just not her nature to confront him with angry words, ever... even when they are the order of the day. And even though I agree it's not fair to them, I do understand her desperation to unite Meher and Abeer. She has one chance to put things right and she is clinging to it, maybe a little too much, but that's what makes her Suman, so I can let it go. I also like how they are using the skeptical Madhvi as a foil, so the story remains complex.
Sometimes I wish Madhvis skepticism to prove true so that Suman gets a reality check, and let let things unfold at their own pace rather than manipulating situations to hurry thing up.
I do have a problem with Abeer's constant, heroic interventions in their lives, but that is why I don't really get irritated when Meher asserts that he is not her husband, or when Bua gives him reality checks. Their frustration is so valid because he keeps helping them when they don't ask for it and expecting them to be grateful... I do feel like this is building up to a reality check for Abeer, though. Crossed fingers!
On the contrary I am afraid that instead of getting reality check, his heroic interventions would increase even more and be justified in order to prove how indispensable he is to Mehar and her household, what with Mehar getting into a serious accident and Tullus genius stroke of getting Mehar sign blank paper and giving it to Tunnu.I really hope we get some lighter office episodes (I know I am the only one, but I actually miss the Rati-Nissar track), and flashbacks from Abeer's show before the next dramatic plot-point (Tunnu's situation + accident) reaches a climax! It would actually be awesome in the course of this track if we could see some flashbacks of Abeer's past relationship with Tunnu.
I used to find Rati sweet until she turned all psycho and split personality😆. But yes I do miss Nissar and his bond with Abeer and esp his interactions with Mehar. There was so much understanding and warmth there. Light hearted office episode would be a welcome relief, even with psycho Rati, but I dont see them happening in near future. As per spoilers Mehar would be involved in a major accident so again that would be an emotional track, and worst of all, Tullu getting Mehars sign on papers which Shyam intends to use to get Mehars house under his name. I am seriously dreading that one. If they seriously bring the oh-so-innovative twist of Shyam throwing Mehar and her family out of their house, I am not going to sit through those episodes😳.
