One thing I have observed after studying history that every civilization,every dynasty always had smart and politically capable women.

British history had Elizabeth I,Mary,etc.
Ottomans had Hurrem,Mihrimmah,Nurbanu and above all Kosem Sultan.
Mughals had Noor Jahan,Jahanara and Roshanara
And Marathas had Soyarabai,Tarabai etc.

Sometimes the intellect of these women prevailed while sometimes it did not.

Tarabai was efficient and good... but not Soyrabai...she was ruthless , may be somewhat cruel too..was ready to do anything for power...but she didn't get much chance to prove if she was good ruler...
