At the end of the day Gurpeet and Yash's mother are 2 different women from different upbrings, familys, age and so on...its not surprising they do not get on...not everyone can get on...for what ever reason yash's mother cant get on with gurpreet and maybe v/v too...they both havent handled the situations well...yash's mother could have said in much nicer words that your not the girl for my family, and gurpreet could have made more of an effort at the beginning....i mean its pointless pointing fingers when both are wrong and right...you'll be left working out the % of rightness and wrongness...lol...so i dont see the point.
as far as where the Sanskar are going in Indian Culture, well any culture is bigger then any group of people or any one person...there have been people in the passed who question it and they will always be. Like anything in life its about finding balance, keeping your own self respect and giving it too, there is nothing wrong with standing up for yourself and saying "if you have nothing good to say about me then dont say anything bad either please" its a matter of knowing how to handle the situtions and you got to be a little forgiving if this is the 1st time someone is put in this situation..so they handle it badly...now they know for next time...yaar you live and you learn...im sure at the end both women will handle the situation much differently if given a 2nd chance..
If I've said anything to upset anyone then Im truly sorry just puting in my 2 cents :D
and please excuse any spelling mistakes :P
