Yash's mom is unable to influence her son that is reason she is harassing Gurpreet.

I don't Gurpreet wants that kind of cruel and insensitive MIL. There are many decent MIL who will welcome her their home and will show her same consideration they show to their own children.

I don't think I will ever take abuse from anybody (or abuse anybody for that matter) , Indian or foreigner..not from my husband or my inlaws...I don't think I have Indian sanskar. I was not raised to take abuse or to dole out abuse..

It seems that good Indian women should take abuse silently..only then she gets the badge of being sanskari..wonder who wrote these rules...?

It is also very telling that boys came with their mothers to spy on girls but girls are just by themselves, nobody is looking after their interests..they are at mercy of boys mothers. There are 10 girls and only 5 boys.

The fair show would be 5 girls and 5 boys or 5 girls with their mother or brothers and 10 boys.

Perhaps you are new to this forum. From the first week itself (before Gur had any interaction witth Yaash/his mom) I found her rude and oversmart. Her recent behavior only reinforced the previous impression she had on me. I dont know about others but I very well know what Indian culture is all about since I was raised in India for 22 years of my life.
