At the courtroom
The court hearing is going on. The defense lawyer says My Lord, from my evidence it shows that Mr. Naren Karmarkar is innocent. As per the staff member, the statement they gave proves that he was at the hotel and didn't go anywhere. I put all the details and documents on your table, you can please check the documents. The prosecutor says My Lord, all of these proofs and statements are lies. Either they have been pressurized or they have been shown the fear of losing their job or they have been bought. The judge says advocate Ramkeshan, on what basis are you saying all of this? Do you have any proof? The prosecutor says yes My Lord, Inspector Shugla who is doing the investigation of this case. I would like permission to call him up. The judge says to call him up. Police inspector Shugla comes up to the witness box, he puts his hand on the book and promises to speak only the truth and nothing else. The prosecutor goes to Inspector Shugla and asks him if he is investigating the case. Inspector Shugla says yes. The prosecutor says so what have you found out in your investigation? Tell the court. Inspector Shugla says My Lord we are investigating but we haven't found any proof of Mr. Naren Karmarkar being involved in this accident yet. In fact we found out that it was another man from the eye witness we got. The judge says for the eye witness to come to the box. Inspector Shugla leaves, Ashoq(the witness) comes to the box. The defense lawyer asks Ashoq what his name was. Ashoq says my name is Ashoq. The defense lawyer asks if he saw the accident. Ashoq says yes.
At the courtroom
The defense lawyer says can you tell us exactly what happened? Ashoq says Saab there was a man standing in the middle of a road. A car was coming and it crashed into that person and then stopped, the person driving the car came out and looked at the man who was hit, he got afraid and left. The defense lawyer points to Naren and says so the person driving the car wasn't him? Ashoq says no, I saw his face clearly. He is not the person Saab. The defense lawyer says yes My Lord, My Lord that night the weather was really bad and it was raining a lot and there was no coverage in the CCTV so I request the court to tell their decision considering all the evidences. The judge says the court has reached the decision that Mr. Naren Karmarkar was at the hotel that night, he has nothing to do with the accident case.
At the courtroom
The judge says so the court releases him and warns Ms. Ankita Mahatre and her lawyer to not put any false blames on anyone or they will be dealt with strictly.
