Purvi was never mean and nasty with Ovi...she never deliberately tormented and insulted Ovi...in fact Ovi has been doing that to Purvi from the beginning! Its in her nature to be malicious and spiteful!

What can we expect from a woman/girl who cannot even respect her parents? But only runs after a man all her life! 😆

And Arjun wont die! He needs to spend the rest of his life with Purvi and Pari...all those years they missed because of their misunderstandings.

This is an active forum.A topic was posted and members poured in their opinions at the topic at hand.Just because members have their favourites in the show that doesnt prohibit them from discussing about other characters in the show.

This forum is for healthy discussions and for presenting debatable points.Members will agree and disagree thats the way it goes when different minds butt heads on one subject.

The active participation of members shouldnt be misconstrued for anything else.We are here to debate not to prove popularity/importance on one single thread.

Yeah right! Why spend your valuable time on evil, selfish, fake Ovi when you can spend it gushing over "true lurve" and those characters who happen to be your favorites? Lots of people write long posts on characters they love and hate, including me, but haven't seen posts only on the character one is supposed to be hating. I'd like to see a single post on purvi, the mahaan devi that had the same activity over the last week. Honestly we get it, you think Ovi is fake and all that nonsense. Are you guys seriously going to keep making threads to say the same point when most likely your fave characters are going to be gone very soon? Whatever! It's ludicrous that you keep moaning about how Ovi is not the lead and then keep her front and center in all your posts at the same time. Honestly, I'd like to know, not just to prove a point. Its like you don't think arjun or purvi are characters in their own story, Ovi is the one and only character who's every action and reaction affects them whereas arjun and purvi are just floating through their lives waiting for Ovi to either come destroy or establish their lives for them. That's just sad, not to be given credit for their strengths and follies even if the latter are so much more than the former.

P.S. I checked. Wanna see which other thread in the last 5 pages has been the most active? Or even the last 10 pages? This one.

Can both set of fan grps take a chill pill and write down your views in a more civilised way .. Dont always expect mods to close down every damn post which might not go as per your wish ...

If a post is against your views , a member has every right to put down the opposite views in a dignified manner without really trying to put down other fan grps or stereotype them in sarcastic tone ..

At the same time the ones who agree with this post , they should b ready to hear the opposite views too rather than expecting all out positive replies only since a forum will always hv different viewpoints which includes both positive and negative ..

It will b better if mmebers of both fan grps learn to co-exist peacefully in one forum espcially when show is coming to an end in few weeks time

When one likes a character, what is there to write about? Lots have been written about her by other like minded people, I have nothing to add to what they have already written.

And I said numerous threads bashing Purvi. Sorry forgot to add, in past--distant past and recent past as well. Numerous threads those were akin to spamming...

I joined the Forum in November 2013. So, I am just a month old here if any one hasn't noticed by now. Hence, I haven't had the chances of spewing the same amount of venom for Ovi- the character. Neither have I come across a character that was interesting enough to write about-- was thinking of writing about Soham once upon a time. But the way his character has been butchered, the interest faded away.

Besides, it's my prerogative what to write and about whom to write. I don't think the Forum has any rule that one has to write a treatise even on the characters one don't like and should refrain from defending the characters one like-- especially when those characters are bashed with distortions, assumptions, extrapolations and non existent story line wallowed in vulgarity.

The day a Purvi hater takes up a challenge and writes about her goodness along with her flaws, I promise, the same day, I will do the same about Ovi too. If one feels Purvi is not a character worth to be written about, that is what I feel about Ovi too.

And the preaching and all are great. But I can also say when it comes to Purvi, "That's just sad, not to be given credit for her strengths and follies even if the latter are so much more than the former. "

Honestly, we get it too. Purvi can never be right.

Besides, I was taking a part in the discussion in the thread so painstakingly retrieved here. That was not a thread about "A Treatise on Fantastic Ovi".

Retrieving one thread and posting it in another thread just to prove one's point , I suppose, is against the IF rule. So who is the hater? Me, who is writing my thoughts on this and other threads or those who would even breach the Forum Rules to prove their points?

No, I don't need the answer.

P.S. I am not reporting. I am happy that one has taken so much of a painstaking effort to point out how another person is not sharing the same thought as theirs. BTW ever heard of three fingers pointing towards oneself when one points a finger towards another?

Ok, this is the last time I will try and explain myself. After this I will consider it's a lost cause. Are arjun and purvi individual characters who have (or at least should have) control over their lives? Are arjun and purvi responsible for their lives or is somebody else (in this case Ovi) living their life for them? You maybe new, but I have been here for a long time and always, always it is Ovi or archana or manav or somebody else but not arjun or purvi blamed for the mess that is their relationship. Do arjun and purvi have some say in their relationship or not? Are they puppets with no grey matter that do whatever somebody says? I understand you are frustrated about them not getting together and don't like Ovi helping arjun. I get that, really I do! Because I hate, absolutely hate it too! Ovi should have just stayed out because I don't think she has the right or the responsibility to fix arjun or purvi or their relationship. Same way, she DOES NOT have the right or the responsibility to fix arjun or purvi or their relationship. Got it? She is an outsider to the relationship, if the characters you love are not together--blame them, not the outsider. Or at the very least, accord some blame to them. Isn't their love for each other stemming from no one but themselves? Is Ovi or anybody else responsible for arjun and purvi loving each other? No, right? Then how come everyone but them is responsible for them not trusting each other and for failing their marriage?

Fine! You blame Ovi for not clearing up things. Agreed, she could have. Maybe she tried, maybe she didn't. We don't know either way. But we know arjun tried a few times to contact purvi--that was mentioned. Where are your posts blaming purvi for not listening to arjun for 20 long years? Now, arjun decides he's going to lie to purvi and enlists Ovi's help. Where are your posts blaming arjun for lying to purvi? Why is Ovi the scapegoat--for everything? Does Ovi owe anything to arjun or purvi? No! Has she taken the thekaa of safeguarding their marriage? No! Is there one post, ONE single post where arjun or purvi are taken to task for failing to work on their marriage? A big fat NO! Everyone wants arjun and purvi to be together, but without either of them doing any work whatsoever. They are just brainless puppets that live whatever life is given to them without doing anything to make it better. Of course, if they really are puppets then we should blame the puppet master. Then, the love story between the puppets is also fake, right?

I have openly derided Ovi for still going out of her way to help arjun, I can show you the more recent posts if you want. I categorically think Ovi is wrong is getting herself into the toxic mess that is arjun and purvi again. Can you find posts where you and your ilk berate arjun and purvi for failing their great love story? Of course, then it will be the creatives who butchered the noble characters.

And btw, the underlined part that you copied from my earlier post was meant for arjun and purvi. Ovi, arjun and purvi are all characters, one much better written than the others I think, but still they are all characters with their own traits and histories. By giving away the blame of everything arjun and purvi do (and hence, the whole of their lives we have seen so far because their lives have always, always been messed up) to someone else, you are essentially giving away their lives. You make them seem like statues that have stuff happening to them while they stand still, not people who are doing stuff that decide the course of their lives one way or another. Give them some credit for their own lives; they are all fleshed out characters, deeply flawed but fleshed out characters nonetheless.

The ' Hot ' black mini dress which Ovi was wearing was much much better than that ghastly backless blouses which Purvi wore when she was living in that red light area (I am assuming it was one because she was caught there by police) with Onir, even if not a red light area it wasn't Pali Hill either, she used to roam in that area with infant Pari in those revealing outfits, But that was 'Sanskari' and Ovi buying a Dress from a upmarket store is 'Cheap'😕. If Ovi wants to 'Seduce' Arjun who Purvi wanted to 'Seduce' then- Viewer discretion advisable😆. Ovi did this drama to make Purvi believe in it, this is called performance even that sales-girl was convinced by her acting with her 'Lovely couple' comment, Purvi on the other hand tried to meet Arjun when Ovi went to change, what you call that? I can think lot of words but forget it! Ovi should blast the living hell out of Purvi when she try to come near Arjun That's what Wives do to Other Woman. Purvi was never abusive to Ovi- Yes but she slowly and steadily took away her everything, she snatched all her relationships, One Caring sister this Purvi is?

if ovi did drama and telling purvi to stay away from arjun for the request of arjun then she was cheap... then what about purvi when she knew arjun was husband of ovi but always seduced him by eye contact and fall in his arm hugging in rain and secret meeting and spending night in one room when purvi also had husband...😡 oh i forget its for bhalayei...

and now she gave lecture about sanskar but now how she try to surrounded with arjun ...

before 20 years she couldnot digest arjun being bhasmasur ( who gave same punch to purvi which is actually prepared by purvi)...she did not digest that she got her own medicine from arjun and hate arjun...and after 20 years she can not digest arjun and ovi will be happy with eachother and arjun reject her...she thought which is actually her right...

at least ovi only drama infront of purvi and never took advantage of situation but purvi always did oppsite...she cools and try to innocent infront of all but took advantage of alone

OVI Disgusting charecter of PVR whole life running behind someone else Love , no selfrespect , no shame she need thousend slaps from Arman always behind Purvi happiness . Now have opportunity to do all these thing she dream for all her life so do this for herself not arjun bhalia.But whatever she do or want Arvi made for each other and at the end they are together surly . Some one claim Purvi not digest Ovi & Arjun happy with each other what a joke . Arjun who not even want the girl in the house the very 2nd day of this drama.Arjun reject Purvi this never happen he always rejected Ovi even in last night epi when he not see Purvi he not like Ovi drama with him feeling unhappy Ovi have no shame evry time arjun reject her she always behind him.
