There are recurrent remarks about those who do not watch the show regularly. I have honestly made it clear that my remarks are based on updates and remarks of other posters in the past few weeks (but not earlier). I could have hidden this fact. But I thought I was making comments on detailed write ups and astute observations and there was no need for me to hide it. Nor was I making any definitive predictions or remarks with absolute certainty. I was only presenting my own POV with lots of "may be" "possibility" etc. and repeated claims that I like characters of both Ovi and Purvi.

But it appears that there is no place for a poster like me on this forum. So, I quit. No hard feelings about anything.

It worked in the case of Ovi. She proposed an unethical deal for marrying Arjun and then she made his life miserable. She paid for what she did when her marriage ended. And she accepted that. (This is the reason why many of us like how she has grown as a character.)

My view is that it is now Purvi's turn.

(And I write this as someone who actually likes Purvi. I hope it will be clear by the end of this post. I do not watch the show now; but have closely followed it until Purvi refused to talk about anything else but Archana's look alike to Arjun. While I do not watch the show, I at least know this much - Arjun has some serious illness that could lead to his death. He does not want to Purvi to know. He has invited Ovi from Australia to put up a show of marriage. Ovi has accepted to go along with the scheme, even though she has suggested to Arjun that he should tell the truth. And after 20 years, now Purvi really wants to find out the truth so that she can be reunited with Arjun. I hope that we all agree on this much.)

Why do I think that it is now Purvi's turn? Let us first ask, what is at the root of the current situation?

I believe it is Purvi's too high a self-image. Had she not been so adamant about being right and had actually made an effort to find out the truth even for her daughter's sake, she would have been by Arjun's side all along. There would have been no need for desperate search for the truth now.

Arjun had told one lie regarding an important matter after they had been married for a short time. Why is it such a big deal considering how many lies Purvi herself has told to Arjun also about important matters since the beginning? So, why was she so hurt by his lie that she took her anger to Canada and kept it for 20 years? Could she not have inquired through a friend or even a detective in 20 years? No, of course she would not do that. She simply presumed that she was right and remained adamant about it.

When she talked to Arjun about her mother's look alike, she refused to talk about anything else. Had Ovi come in-between then? Someone can come in-between two people who are together. No one can come in between people who are separated. That is just not possible. And Arjun-Purvi are still separated.

Purvi remained adamant for 20 years about her wrong perception. And the burden of proving her wrong so that she can be reunited with Arjun is with someone else? Why?

And why is it now everyone else's duty to serve the truth to Purvi on a silver platter because all of a sudden she as developed a desire to find the truth? Why is she such a divine like figure that her wish should be everyone else's command?

I am actually with Arjun this time in his firmness in not bowing to Purvi's wish. Even though his reasons remain foolishly sentimental, for the first time, he is not shown running like a puppy to fulfill her demands. And what does all this have to do with Ovi? What would she get any way? One opinion is - "the pleasure of separating Arjun and Purvi." How is that possible? THEY HAVE BEEN SEPARATED FOR 20 YEARS.

Just to refresh the memory, if Ovi had wanted to separate them, she had a perfect opportunity when she had already come to know about Onir's fake wedding and Arjun had also accidentally come to know about it the night previous to his wedding to Purvi. If she had wanted to separate them, she would not have stopped Arjun from telling Purvi. She could also have told him about her own pregnancy and child, which could have been her trump card to separate them. It was her moment of growth.

I think the creatives are just adding more and more tension at the moment as they are prone to so that the scene of revelation of truth can be dramatic. May be even they do not know if they want to turn Ovi negative or not. That is why it was "may" and not "will" in the article about the possibility. That is why I believe there are mixed signals in Ovi's expressions. In my view, if the writers turn Ovi negative again, they will have wasted what they have achieved in the story so far.

As for when the revelation will come, it is entirely Arjun's call in the story context. He is the director of the play put up by him and Ovi and only he can decide when the curtain falls. And we are not shown 24 hours of any character's life. So we simply cannot know for certain until revealed either way why Ovi is behaving the way she is. May be it is Arjun's direction so that Purvi thinks the worst of them.

The track is actually giving time to Purvi for introspection. It is leading to Purvi's moment of growth and it is a good thing. Eventually, the truth would be revealed. Purvi would hopefully grow out of her habit of thinking she is always right and the track would end with an overall positive outcome. A character that grows remains interesting. (Thank you ambolove for making that point so nicely in your post). The one that does not grow remains flat and boring. Purvi is a very charming character. Unless we want her to be an uninteresting frozen image of perfection with no possibility of growth, we can actually be glad for the opportunity for introspection. And how long she should introspect is entirely the director's call both in the story (Arjun) and in the production house. We may feel that she has already grown and there is no need to prolong it; but the director may think otherwise.

BTW pls do not stop posting..Difference of opinion is very important as we all are different people..It was so innocent & naive of you to disclose that you do not watch the show but followed detailed updates (subjective IMHO). No matter what no one should give into bullying or threats..You just have to remain firm in your standing..It was good reading your posts.

LOL Ovi is such a hypocrist .. she only was wearing short dresses and was doing PDA at the age of 40+ and was telling purvi not wear orange dresses !! 🤣

To all those telling how long this post is which tells how much we hate ovi .. lol its because we open only one thread and criticise about ovi which she did in about last 2 weeks not like others who open some 4-5 purvi hatred posts on the same episode 😆

Yes, Ovi is such a shameless hussy! She wore that short dress desperately to impress Arjun but it didnt suit her at all. She looked more like a hostel matron in it with her bun! 😆
