Why is archana's children so determined especially ovi and soham starting with ovi she went to the extent to blackmail purvi for giving arjun to her when she clearly knew arjun didn't love her and he only love purvi ovi went to the extent of cutting her wrist and If I am not wrong tried to commit suicide and look what happened she married into a loveless marriage and I don't remember how months but ovi herself had to ask for divorce.Moving to soham he claims he loves gauri he would even kill someone to get her but what will happen when he marries her he will be going into a love less marriage like ovi and none of them will be happy .I don't know why he is fighting for someone who doesn't love him and I don't think she will ever love him for what he did to his brother I have read the updates for tonight's episode and he even went to the extent of holding arjun at gun point I love ankit but not soham because ekta has destroyed his character very badly beyond repair I would just like to add one more thing is it just me or does anyone on this forum find pavitra rishta boring these days I mean purvi is there but she hardly gets to say anything we see her for like to to three minutes and that's it even ovi I don't know why ekta bring them in when they have nothing to do we for all those months that we missed out on arvi scenes we need more because if the leap takes place we will not see arvi I just want to know how many of you on this forum agree with me I am sorry If I bashed anyone but I am just stating my pov why isn't purvi, teju, and sachin like that brcause they have good values in them. thankyou 😲 what ovi wants she get it but I am not sure if soham will get gauri all I want is sandeep and balan and his gang to be put in jail for the rest of their life and varsha can take soham or if archana takes him back and give him a good education and he starts working with his father in the office .and find a nice girl for him to marry

Archana's children...are all messed up! Ovi and Soham, both obsessive lovers, cannot accept rejection from the object of their desire, go to any lengths to GET them! Only difference is Ovi being a woman and educated, sophisticated, used emotional blackmail to get the man she wanted. Soham being an uneducated, uncivilized hoodlum is resorting to violence to get the woman he wants. Otherwise both are the same, neurotic, psychotic, obsessive people!

Ovi and Soham are poles apart!

Ovi's situation was completely different. Unlike Soham whom Gauri gave no indication of being in love with, Arjun actually agreed to marry Ovi, engaged to her, and then betrayed her! Her reaction was more justified.

And even when Ovi couldn't handle that Arjun loved someone else, she never hurt anyone like Soham has. Ovi never kidnapped anyone, injured someone over the head to the point of death, never shot anyone, held anyone hostage, or posed a danger to anyone's life. In fact, the person Ovi hurt the most was herself.

Comparing Ovi and Soham is like apples and oranges. Ovi was nowhere as psychotic and dangerous as Soham. There was never a huge police hunt going on to capture Ovi.

Moreover, in Soham's case, Gauri and Sachin are innocent and did not do anything to deserve Soham's wrath. Whereas with Ovi, Arjun and Purvi were equally responsible for creating the mess that was the marriage deal and everything that followed.

Pallavi, you are right, all of archana's children are messed up in one way or another. Sachin who tried to break his father's marriage with deceit and treachery, Purvi who has a sense of mahaan in her that compels her to fix everyone's lives with her own sacrifices, Teju, nice and all and the only one "apparently" normal but touched in some way as well.

Coming to Ovi and Soham, they are both the same, both cannot accept "no" for an answer, both deluded and destructive to themselves and the ones they love.

Ovi didn't have the police force behind her because she did not have the experienced life of a gunda to fall back on. She did pretty well even without it when it came to violence, she slapped Purvi, blamed her for theft, and was nasty beyond belief all the way around. This for a seedha saadha girl raised in Canada without the influence of the likes of Balan was scary enough. She was obsessed with one-sided love, be it as it may that Arjun agreed to marry her. Purvi was not to be blamed for what transpired yet Ovi took it upon herself to do everything in her power to discredit Purvi and even force her out of the scene.

Soham has reason to hate Sachin from before the Gauri fiasco, has had the gunda in him and now in the throes of unrequited love, has resorted to the same base instinct of snatching what is not his in an effort for self gratification. This is not love, we said it with Ovi, we say it with Soham.

Maybe, just maybe, if selfish Varsha (who acts like an angel these days) had not heinously kidnapped Soham, and maybe, just maybe if old Savi had not actively forced the separation between Manav and Archana, the two good for nothing parents together could have raised a normal set of children.

I don't want Archana becoming mahaan shooting Soham. Even if she does try, I want Varsha to take the bullet for being responsible for this entire mess. Soham can rot in prison for a while but to finish him off would not be kosher just to make Archana look mahaan again. Would make for one maha crappy storyline in my opinion :(

Exactly, Jahnavi! Basically Soham and Ovi are the same in their obsessive passion for a person who doesnt want them.
Of course their ways of dealing with their obsession is different because Ovi is a woman, Soham is a man!
Ovi is educated, sophisticated, Canada bred, NRI rich spoiled kid of Manav Deshmukh.
Whereas Soham is uneducated, uncultured, brought up as a gangster, only led a rough, violent life since childhood!
So their methods of dealing with their obsession are different but their mentality and psychology is the same! Its like: "I will GET him/her at all costs"
Ovi pursued Arjun even after he declared in front of the whole family in Canada, that he doesnt love Ovi and only considers her a friend.
Gauri said the same abt Soham that she doesnt love him, only considered him a friend.

Ovi still went after Arjun using Savita's cunning advice and managed to make him agree to marriage. But of course Arjun's "heart" was not in the marriage so he came to India and fell for Purvi. But still Ovi could not accept his lack of interest in her, she went after him with full arsenal which she had as spoiled daughter of Manav Deshmukh and she did GET him using treachery and blackmail!
So by rights, Soham shd also GET Gauri by the same logic, maybe he will also realize after a year of marriage that Gauri hates him and will divorce her himself. 😆
But his obsession is treated with contempt and he is reviled as a gunda, a criminal and beaten and slapped by Manav. The same Manav who let Ovi get away with her deal marriage, trapping Arjun, tricking Purvi by using her own mother's happiness!

And Yes, Ovi did slap Purvi, she threw a heavily pregnant Purvi out of Deshmukh house just because she couldnt stand her presence. This inspite of Purvi dragging Onir from Kolkata to treat Ovi!

Sachin always treated Soham like trash so its understandable that Soham hates Sachin and with a violent, criminal background he will resort to violence to express his hatred.

Yes, Sachin has been a treacherous guy all along, he tried to separate Manav from Archu! His professional ethics are also questionable going by the type of clients he has been serving.

Of course, Purvi is overcompensating and annoyingly sacrificial and too devoted to her mother and Deshmukh family. She tends to take matters into her own hands which dont concern her!

Even the otherwise sane Teju is too casual and unambitious, shes frittering away her life, also perhaps avoiding commitment and responsibilities!
So YES, all of Armaan's kids are flawed and damaged persons as adults.

PS: Totally agree with the BOLD parts above! If the Tulsi Ansh or Mother India scenario is repeated in PR, I will definitely stop watching the show and let it take a leap into Hell or whatever! Indeed Soham doesnt deserve death but jailtime is okay. Armaan are terrible parents! Thats been proved many times before and now once again. They indulge in dramatics and hysteria all the time but fail to deal with their disturbed children in the right way!
