Actor Sushant Singh Rajput has four elder sisters. But he says he won't be able to spend time with them for the festival Tuesday as he is busy promoting his forthcoming film "Shuddh Desi Romance".

"There are a lot of emotions that come attached with Raksha Bandhan. Like all, even I have my own share of memories. But it's unfortunate that this time I will not be able to spend time with my sisters," Sushant told IANS.

"I'm busy promoting my film 'Shuddh Desi Romance'. I know their blessing are always with me," he added.

One of Sushant's sisters stays in the US, two in Delhi and one in Chandigarh.

He said: "I will call them and take their blessings."

The 27-year-old, who made his big screen debut with "Kai Po Che!", features with Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor in "Shuddh Desi Romance", directed by Maneesh. The Yash Raj Films' project is slated to release Sep 6.

'Shuddh Desi Romance' new stills: Does Parineeti Chopra make a good pair with Sushant Singh Rajput?

Their chemistry and camaraderie is hard to miss. Parineeti Chopra and Sushant Singh Rajput make for a cute couple in the upcoming film 'Shuddh Desi Romance'.

Sushant Singh Rajput, although just a film old, is being touted as the next big thing in Bollywood.
Rajput and Chopra have been paired together in Maneesh Sharma's triangle love story 'Shuddh Desi Romance' which also features newcomer Vaani Kapoor.
The film is based in Jaipur and talks about new age romance and live in relationships.
The film has been extensively shot in Rajasthan.

'Shuddh Desi Romance' is a fresh love story that deals with love, commitment and attraction.

Title track of Shuddh Desi Romance resembles yesteryear songs?

The makers Shuddh Desi Romance have released the title track of rom-com featuring Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra.

The video has the duo dancing and the chemistry between them seems fun and promising.

The song has been extensively shot at the Mehrangarh Fort in in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

Interestingly, according to a tweet the song bears resemblance with the song 'Jeth Ki Dopahri Mein Paaon Jale Hai' from 'Coolie No 1'. It also sounds similar to 'Doodh Ban Jaungi' from Raj Babbar-Danny starrer 'Sarhad'.

The music of Shuddh Desi Romance is by Sachin-Jigar and lyrics by Jaideep Sahni.

Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Shuddh Desi Romance is slated to hit screens by September 6.
