Okay so I was listening to the Music Premiere of SDR on Radio Mirchi 98.3FM Mumbai (Sunset Samosa show) and they had Sachin and Jigar over with whom they talked about the songs of the movie. Not much about the actors or the story of movie since they basically were talking about the songs and how they were made. If you guys want a complete update of that then tell me I will write it out else here are the bits that I think you will find interesting.

1.) The RJ's were laughing at that part of TMBM song where Parineeti says 'Kya hai' and Sushant says 'Tumhe pata toh hai kya hai'. They were repeating his words in same gruff voice and saying 'Yeh to Amitabh Bacchan style lagta hai' and both Suren-Meera (RJ's) were saying whenever we sing this song we automatically go 'tumhe pata to hai kya hai' :P

2.) Sachin-Jigar revealed that earlier there were supposed to be no songs in the movie cos it was supposed to be very realistic, except for chanchal mann song. Later when the songs were added, they wanted Tere Mere Beech mein to be as realistic and easily flowing in the story as possible, so they included the voices of actors and sounds like ringing of bell, voice of shower, etc in the background. They said initially we had planned the actors would sing the song themselves and Parineeti is a very good singer, but she got very conscious so finally Sunidhi Chauhan took her cues from Pari, the way she laughs etc and sang accordingly.

3.) Aditya Chopra was fully involved in the project since the beginning. He loved the Gulabi song so much that he said if you dont include it in this movie I will include it in some other movie of YRF. Also he refused to let Sachin-Jigar change the female singer in the song. (Priya, Jigar's wife) which made me very happy personally about how he was involved in the very small details of the movie also, as Priya has very few lines in the Gulabi song.

ETA 4.) For most movies, the tunes are made first and then the song is written, but in case of SDR, Jaideep Sahni handed Sachin-Jigar about 50 pages of lyrics and said you can use all of them the way you want in the songs. And from them the songs were made.

5.) Sachin-Jigar were very disappointed with the name of the film.😆 They were like yeh kya bakwaas naam hai, and ditto with Maneesh Sharma's sister who was like really pissed at the name of the film.😆 But then 2-3 days later when they saw how everything had been packaged, the marketing etc they started getting more comfortable, then they saw people were actually responding well, and by then they also had started liking it, so they went ahead and made the title track with renewed enthusiasm.😃
