Balaji Telefilms Pavitra Rishta on Zee Tv which is currently revolving around Purvi, Arjun, Dr Onir (Shakti Arora) and Shalini (Menka Lalwani). Ovi (Shruti Kanwar) has been sent to Canada and she will soon seek divorce in the show. However, in the track Ovi was supposed to return back to India after her three months stay in Canada but somehow that is not happening as Ovi's stint is over and she is no more part of the show.

TellyBuzz tried to deep into the matter.

Our source informs us that, "After the revelation in the show that Pari is Purvi (Asha Negi) and Arjun's (Rithvik Dhanjani) daughter Ovi will leave for Canada and will return back after three weeks and file for divorce in the show. While earlier it was told by the production house, that Ovi doesn't have much role to play hence they will give her three weeks break after which she will return back. However, this didn't happen and its almost more than a month and Shruti hasn't been called nor is she doing the show anymore."

When quizzed Shruti appeared clueless, "I have no idea where my track is heading to... I was told that I will be seen after three weeks however that didn't happen at all and I haven't been called till now! Nothing was intimated to me and I don't see my track as Ovi coming in as of now. Had they told me I would have looked around for other shows because for an actor who is very new like me and needs her daily bread and butter it's not easy for me to stay without work for a month. Pavitra Rishta has so many actors and the focus is also not on me as of now so I guess its probably all over till there comes another twist in the show."

She further went on to say, "I will now search for work, its not that I am disloyal to Balaji, I am thankful to them for giving me this break, but I cant wait anymore> Its been more than a month and I haven't been working. I didn't take up any other show as I didn't want to cheat Balaji as they had informed me that I will be called after three weeks but that didn't happen at all."

When asked her what will she do if she is called back, she sais, "I don't think they will call me now as I don't see that happening at all. However, if there is any scope for my role then I will do it.."

You should think is every word correct? Recently Ovi was seen in pavitra even in the last episode. Recently Nakuul Mehta from pyaar ka dard hai tweeted that india forums put an article out which has words in that we're not his words at all. The article may not be fully her words. One thing is for sure though.. If they are her words then like us she also thinks there are too many characters in the show

@bold very true...i think shruti should now search for shows where she gets better role...yes i accept that she should return to pr but for that her time shouldnt be wasted...dont know why does the cvs and balaji do this...atleast they should inform the actors what's their status in the show..they did the same with many other actors too...

but i am happy to read shruti's loyalty towards balaji 😊 😊

if this news is true, I'll be more than happy for it is really frustrating watching her selfish character on screen. those weeks without her were really a breath of fresh air.

This may not be correct as Ovi did come back to India for Archana. Ovi will probably have less focus for a while but they might bring her back after a few weeks. She is after all armaan's kid and one of the imp characters, so they cant just push her off the show, I think.

@ red ,can you think at least these words without thinking fictional couple or characters .
