Shyamala, backs if they are neat can carry off such blouses, no blouses, hmm, that would be totally another story.

Yes, Jahnvi, our maid in Ahmedabad also was a Gurjar tribal girl and she wore those stringy cholis to work and she was very healthy, I mean voluptuous, plump etc.
Tribals all over India wear such blouses or sometimes go blouseless like ur curd seller.
Rural women in Bengal still go blouseless sometimes if they are too poor to buy blouse.
Have u seen Ray's movies? Pather Panchali? All rural ladies were blouseless.
I think it looks quite natural and in Purvi's case, she can carry it off well so thats good for her. Not talking abt her wigs though...😆

guys really why do u compare a real life dressing style with reel life dressing style..

does any one in the real life will wear a tight jeans during the 7 month of their pregnancy and too short frocks and skirts that too when ur pregnant?? 😕
then why do u compare purvi's blouse style with real life.. its a soap and they make it all to show something fashionable i guess,,
not only in PR in any soap whether the people are rich or poor they will have great sarees instantly for all the parties and that too without repition..not just here in any show that is what they show just to make it more attractive.. just like movies serials are also fashion oriented but might be little less...
coming to PR it was never correct regarding the costumes..
When a mother of 5 can wear a jeans and even on the day when her daughters are in hospital after met accident .😆
which girl of 20's will wear a saree in bengali style with such a big bindi now a days and that too when her mom is wearing jeans..
i pity the damaads of archana they might have thought that there saas is much more fashionable than their wives...
i can see purvi's blouses atleast little decent as she is young enough and can wear that but archana wore them not even occasionally but on daily basis...
not just with purvi and archana the way they dress up punni is also not according to real life.. she might be a wife of a rich man but do all of them designer sarees often and that too with backless and sleeveless.. and in the show even ovi is always is shown with sleeveless dresses and sleeveless blouses..
who will always wear sleeeveless dresses that too of the same style with a threaded or chain type straps. the funny thing she was wearing them after her delivery and during pregnancy she was always in short frocks and tight jeans...😆 bechara baby might have felt suffocated a lot..😆 dont the people say that u need to wear loose clothes during pregnancy but in Pr the cv's so logic and brainless that they gave bedsheet type of sarees to purvi with same repitive blouses and tight jeans and frocks to ovi...

we need to laugh at the creative brains who really dont show anything in logic.. great talented and superb CV team of ek.. kudos to u and ur kanjoosi...

Yes, dear, I was also wondering abt Ovi's dresses when she was pregnant, she was wearing tight short dresses...instead of loose clothing. But I didnt point that out then as I dont bother abt such petty issues. I dont criticize actor or actresses dresses unless they look hideous or vulgar.

Stop your narrow minded thinking. it seem you live abroad..still u have this type of thinking~ ! u shud change it! being an indian u should b proud of it! not abusing it in any possible way!

Yeah okay my views are cheap 😆
I can say the same about you , wearing revealing clothes are modern
India is India , like it or not people will look at you
Like I said Jia Mustafa and thousands of other people wear Western clothes
But they are what they are
So are you telling me wearing revealing clothes are modern ? No I didn't call Mumbai red light area
Again, like I pointed out before Jia definitely has a car , goes to good areas to shop
You could point a finger at her IF she was living in a bad area in Mumbai , travelling all by herself
And again just because others do it doesn't make it right 😆
Anyway I know better than to argue with people who clearly think modern is when you wear short clothes or revealing clothes , ciao ! Oh and just a word of advise , stop calling me cheap
I am not saying your views are cheap
People have different ways of thinking and different viewpoints

There really is no point in engaging in debate with you as you have no valid points to make. You are on a one woman mission to bash Purvi! I will refrain from making any further comments on your disjointed thinking!

Excuse me , don't get personal over here
I said time and again
I am no saint wearing Burkha and NOTHING wrong with people who wear backless or strapless blouses
If I were that narrow minded I would have never watched PR
I myself never made comments on Purvi wearing backless blouses in other threads
But there were people who did and I am defending their argument
And really no valid point ? Why not ?
I think I made some pretty good points

Its wrong to judge a traditional piece of clothing without knowing anything abt the cultures that wear it!
Purvi doesnt live in red light area anymore. Their kholi looks completely different from that kholi they had initially rented in red light area.
If Purvi still lives in red light area, then Savita's friend also lives there...right next door! Savita visited her friend in red light area?😲😆
That doesnt make sense, does it?😆Im sure Onir moved house as soon as he knew it was a bad area, hes not that irresponsible!

Functions 😆 Purvi doesn't wear them at functions she wears them everyday
Now don't tell me you saw that too on public
Every person in Calcutta was wearing backless blouses

Depends on where u are living I suppose...in big cities like Mumbai or Kolkata, people dont bother abt what kind of blouses women are wearing with saris...even in chawls.
Ive seen maids in Kolkata wear fancy salwars and sari blouses, they live in slums but that doesnt mean they dont wear fashionable clothes bought with their hard-earned money.

Purvi IS a married lady and married ladies do have a certain respectability in India. Now if a young, unmarried girl wore backless blouses or revealing clothes, then definitely she will get harassed by mawalis.
Yes, we wear sleeveless blouses in India on streets, when we go shopping too, wore it 20 yrs ago when I was living there as well...nobody harassed me for wearing sleeveless blouses and saris in summer...because many women do wear it on streets and to markets.😆
God, I cant believe even sleeveless is an issue here...😆

See I clearly have VERY different views on this
I am a very conservative person when it comes to being publicly viewed
Okay as many people are calling me cheap etc
Please tell me your definition of modern
Please . I would like to know.
Purvi is a YOUNG girl , with a good figure , if she wears inappropriate clothing it would attain more attention than a normal girl with an average figure

Why are you all fighting over a blouse design?? Is it really worth wasting your energy with?? What's been said has been said, TM had a very legit point in saying that it is in some traditions to wear backless blouses, but why is becoming such a big discussion??

Because people with varying viewpoints are cheap 😆
If people want to have a health debate then please i am always in
But why go personal on someone's belief and viewpoints ?

I love her overall look...Chaniya-Choli and Odhani...I also like what Kusum wears...Love her natural long hair...No wigs..I think she is more beautiful and attractive than Kumud...But all 3 girls are good in SC..
Saras is Saras. I love the actor and the character...Today how he asked her for their first date was Muaaah worthy 😛 I went back to my college days 😃

Hey, I love Kusum, the second sister - she is so natural, from dress and her overall presentation...love her more that the other 2😳
