Kools,
As you might have seen from my response to your comments on my Comedy Circus 3 post, I too was astonished not just at use of that jholi (jhola is used more for the cloth shoulder bag that is the trademark of NGO activists in India, who are typically labelled as
jholawallahs) for Pari. Why not simply put her on the one mattress there? Possibly it was so that she can be rocked to sleep, but the jholi looks too shaky for that.
In fact, I cannot understand how the parents of Zoya, as I understand the baby is called, can trust such a tiny infant to these people, to be kept on the sets for hours, very likely, kissed endlessly by all and sundry, and exposed to the risk of falling out of that jholi.
My mother took one look at that scene, and was horrified at the baby's head being so near the edge of the cloth. She added that Zoya's parents must be either mad or totally irresponsible.

Hilly that is called a jholi or jhola , typically used by poor women in India who cannot afford cradles
u will see it at many construction sites where these poor women work
some ladies from good family use it too simply coz the women before them used them but honestly as u say its very risky and i would not advise it . Purvi will REFUSE child support from Arjun and opt to work to show her non existent , whimsical self respect and it will be cuckolded Onir who will look after the baby in that stuffy kholi . No child should get this girl as a mother .
