waneeka i agree with you that she didnt behave well in the precap. BUT and a big one. noone can really judge what they will and will not do given her situation. she loved arjun a lot but he betrayed her for purvi because i think he believes he belongs to purvi. she loves pari a lot as well but that child actually belongs to purvi. so it is only natural that she expects purvi to eventually want to take pari from her as well. if she loves pari even more, she will only be hurt more when she divorces arjun or arjun takes pari and goes back to purvi. thats the first. secondly, can you imagine loving and trusting a man with your all. him cheating on you and you having to see that other woman's face everyday in the face of that child your raising? i can and i have. it takes a lot of strength and patience and love and reassurance from your partner to be able to not see the other woman's face in the child. arjun isn't giving her any of that. when she was crying over her ending marriage her husband was running to defend purvi's honor instead of even trying to comfort her. pari is not the issue here. if arjun doesn't do anything to signal otherwise, its only natural for ovi to think that if he's not a part of her life then her rishta with pari doesn't really exist. but ya the way she said that about pari is harsh but lets see what tomorrow brings. 😊

Curiously enough, as you will see if you look up my comments on Archana (archverma)'s thread, I too had cited Masoom and Shabana in it. There of course, it all works out well in the end, but you have to remember that the boy's mother there is dead, not standing around in transparent sarees and backless blouses.

Incidentally, I wonder if that single bag of Dr. and Mrs. Onir Dutt has had Hermione's Undetectable Extension Charm put on it, for it to take all those sarees and blouses, not to speak of Onir's checked shirts and his formals!😉

Seeing a child, that is essentially your husband's illegitimate child with you so called sister, and has been used to replace your own dead child without your knowledge, is a trauma, not many of us can even think to imagine. I do not blame her even if she hates Pari ( which she does not, as she is attached and her behavior with pari before this episode shows too). Would you accept a hubby's illegitimate child with love and understanding withing 2 days of knwoing the truth? I would not. She has her moments of yelling but quickly realizes as she has grown to love Pari as her own. I describe this as a very intense "kashmakash" that a woman is going through. The child you love will always remind you of the husband's dhoka. ( I call it dhoka, not because he did it with Purvi before marriage, but because he did not come clean to her about it)

Hence, Ovi is a mother but she is also a very wronged wife and a mother of a dead child who is disposed off like trash to give her this baby. Think in her shoes and you'll know what I mean.

Ovi is a spoiled brat whose behavior is encouraged by her father. There is a limit to everything, this girl acts as a victim after ruining arjun and purvi's life by a blackmail deal marriage. Arjun should divorce her as this marriage is meaningless. you can't make a deal with people's life and then except them to love you. Ovi was not in the dark, she knew how much arjun loved purvi.

exactly Teju...100% agree...Arjun is still running to defend Purvi...and he yelled at Ovi for not telling him she was at restaurant...can Arjun guarantee that he won't go back after Purvi again...will he give importance to Ovi over Purvi...

I still do not understand what all this fuss about the precap is about.

I checked it again, and all that Ovi says is Is bachche ko le jao, mera sar dard se phata ja raha hai, and abhi ye bhi. What did people expect, that she should clasp her husband's and his eternal beloved's child to her bosom and feed her? Anyone expecting that must be most unrealistic, in fact cuckoo. It is as simple as that.

As I wrote elsewhere, it might be worthwhile for people to take a look at Masoom, and Shabana in it. As I noted there, in the film it came out all right in the end, but there the boy's mother was dead and gone, which of course simplified matters.

It appears that Purvi Onir Dutt is going to start romancing her old flame as soon as her idiot of a trusting and eternally supportive husband is safely tucked away in jail. If this does in fact materialise, I expect there will be posts redefining both gratitude and loyalty as out of date concepts meant only for idiots like Onir. It will disgust an old dinosaur like me, but that hardly matters so long as the young ones are happy,. Sarve janaha sukinaha bhavantu;
