I do not think Ovi said anything against Pari. All she said, was take her away and leave, my head is hurting and to top it she is crying. There was no abuse used , there was no manhandling of a baby, nothing. So it is a little too severe what you are blaming her with.

Ovi has suffered trauma and though that in itself gives her no reason to misbehave, but what does explain her psyche is her fool of a husband lurking around her and the baby that is his illegitimate child.

I don't know if you have seen the movie Masoom, but it deals with a wife and her coming to terms with her husband's illegitimate child from a previous relationship. When you see it, you will hate Shabana Azmi for her behavior with this little boy, but you will understand the psyche and the pain as it is brilliantly portrayed.

Seeing a child, that is essentially your husband's illegitimate child with you so called sister, and has been used to replace your own dead child without your knowledge, is a trauma, not many of us can even think to imagine. I do not blame her even if she hates Pari ( which she does not, as she is attached and her behavior with pari before this episode shows too). Would you accept a hubby's illegitimate child with love and understanding withing 2 days of knwoing the truth? I would not. She has her moments of yelling but quickly realizes as she has grown to love Pari as her own. I describe this as a very intense "kashmakash" that a woman is going through. The child you love will always remind you of the husband's dhoka. ( I call it dhoka, not because he did it with Purvi before marriage, but because he did not come clean to her about it)

Hence, Ovi is a mother but she is also a very wronged wife and a mother of a dead child who is disposed off like trash to give her this baby. Think in her shoes and you'll know what I mean.
