Purvi wiill NEVER let Arjun expose her to the storm of shame and aggressive criticism that the revelation of her illegitimate baby will call forth. My assessment, for whatever it is worth, is that Purvi will once again be able to force Arjun to hold his tongue and obey her orders, in doing which he has anyway had plenty of practice. That can be the only reason for the scene where Soham takes on Arjun, and comes up tops, for Arjun was clearly stopped from going in and telling all, at least to Purvi (but with the rest of the K household behind the door). I loved that scene, and I don't care a hoot whether Arjun was wrongly accused by Soham or not.

I share the dismay and disgust of all those who were appalled, both by Arjun's apparent amnesia about his dead baby , as also about what this revelation would mean for Ovi ,and by his sudden gush of affection for Pari whereas he was behaving like a chronic dyspeptic, even with the baby, till then. It lowers Arjun's character so much that by now he must have broken thru the floor.

Poor Rithvik! Incidentally, my fears that after so much of underutilization for weeks now, he might begin to forget how to act well, are now, unfortunately, being borne out. In the scene after he finds out about the baby swap and then Pari's parentage, his performance was stilted, forced and artificial. The only scene where he looked like the old Rithivik was in the first shot of him in front of the Ks' place, when he looks up at the window. Now, I normally never add the standard caveat that this is my POV, for I feel that is self-evident, but this time I would,for once, emphasise that, along with a re-iteration of my unfettered right to critique the performances of any of the actors in this benighted serial.

As for Poor Onir (caps not a mistake!) I am afraid there seems to be no early chance of his breaking free from the toils of his Mishti. He would need a solid dose of good luck for that to happen, and Lady Luck does not seem too fond of him these days.
