Do I feel bad for Onir? Why???!!!! He makes his own choices, he chose not to know Purvi's full truth... not to know her past... he is making his CHOICE... just like everyone said Arjun made his own choice.

Yes for the reason his wife left him w/o a reason for crying out loud..

She was fine and dandy until now staying away from all the crazies :) but, now She cares because that Aai of hers went crying to her, lamenting about her princess and her plights AGAIN !! Her well trained 'aai's happiness at all cost' training kicks in pronto !! I rather she didnt get into it at all, why be a masochist all over !!
she left Onir for herself?? What is she? A succer for self-inflicted punishment? I dont think even Purvi, in her delusions, thinks it is a cake walk in the D-Dumbo-House !!
BTW, if Manav accepts her as his daughter, she is a deshmukh for all counts.. Whether some like it or not...unless ofcourse, adoption doesn't count ...and it is always blood relation that matters..
The query was why shd we feel sorry for Onir when he apparently can stand for himself and is not until now shown to be in dire state :)

I do feel sorry for Onir because I think Purvi should have discussed with him about leaving ..I felt bad that she just left leaving behind a letter and then was also cutting off his phone calls ...

I respect everyone views but so many people are saying that Onir made his choice. What choice did he make? He wasn't given a choice he just received a letter that his wife walked out on him because he didn't agree to what she said to do, so I do feel bad for him. Arjun on the other hand did have a choice. He did not have to marry Ovi. He was not held at gun point. Purvi just gave him an oath of her love. He could have told Purvi, I love you, I have done too many things to prove this to you, I am not going to listen to what you have to say and marry your sister. If it is that big of a deal I am not going to marry you either. Afterwards when everyone would have found out what had happened and the condition that Ovi and Purvi had laid before Arjun, they would have gotten Arjun and Purvi married. Just because someone tells you prove me your love by doing this doesn't mean you have to do it. I mean I wouldn't. The fact that I love you should be enough. I am not going to go around proving to you I love you.

When one understands why Purvi had to leave Onir, then there is no reason why we have to feel bad/sorry for him.

She did not leave Onir for her OWN SELF.

She did it for her mother's daughter's sake! That daughter who doesn't care for her husband, her baby, or her family, has no regard for anyone or anything. And why? Because the family still cares for that ungrateful daughter and Purvi thinks she is part of the family and she needs to do what she can to help that family in the time of need. This all bcos Purvi's parents come crying to her and being a good daughter, she doesn't feel it right to leave her parents in lurch. And Dr. Onir is her husband and it is in purvi's hand to make it possible whem Onir too doesn't want to treat.

If after all this that purvi has done, Onir still chooses not to treat Ovi, it is his choice.

But once he does come to Mumbai and understands why purvi had to do what she did, even he wouldn't be angry on her, since he himself is a person of helping nature. If that is case, then why should we feel bad or sorry for him?

I feel bad for both Purvi and Onir - since they have been dragged into the Deshmukh mess again.

Tanya, I do hope too that Onir handles Ovi the right way and not fall in line with everyone else. He will come to mumbai for sure, else where is the drama :)
Purvi should not have done it the way she did, I agree. I would rather she didnt bother about ovi at all. But, once Archana has talked to her, there is no looking back for Purvi, we all know that. Onir, as a doctor is right. U cannot treat an unwilling patient, and why should he? There are hundreds of other patients who want him to treat them. But, that is his view point as a doctor. But, as Purvi's husband, he will still follow her.will toe the line... Anyway, I think it is high time he sees the D-family enmasse, up close and personal to understand why Purvi is the way she is and why she does what she does..

As far as Arjun, let us not even go there.. His life itself is a tragedy right now .
