It is my firm opinion that Purvi is a control freak . She needs to see someone not just Ovi .

Right from the beginning she is . She controlled the company , acted all feminist with Arjun , emasculated him completely before giving her consent and is now setting conditions upon conditions to fulfil to get her nodding grace and i find it disgusting .

I also find her very very cruel to Arjun . Many said that Ovi did not love him to put forth that deal but Ovi tried her utmost to please him after marraige . Purvi never once tried to please him but saw to it that he pleased her .

Arjun lied that he worked on his marraige .he did anything but that . It was only Ovi who tried and even today after that slap and humiliation she is still trying without making ego issues .

I didn't think of the lauki halwa debate until now, yes it does answer that and so much else...

I guess I see Ovi that way because she lets out her emotions, good or bad.. And the fact that she asked Arjun if he loved Purvi, when I felt she already knew the answer. Anyway my opinion, no harm meant.

But you are right, Purvi is in complete control of herself and others, she is very strong minded. She has power to rule Arjun, and in the the process messing all their lives..

Kool , Purvi is very very controlling ..I have a different point of view than you on her ( yo uknow that ) but I would say that she is very controlling and has always been so .She makes up her own mind about everything , she really does not needs anyone to tell her what to do ...

Manav should send her to study politics and he has a budding potential Prime Minister on his hands ...she is very efficient and hard working as well and that too is good ..I believe she is a good person so her being a Prime Minsiter will be a good thing ...

But she is definitely very controlling ..Forget Arjun , who starts dancing the miunte she pushes the button , even Doctor saheb will be totally under her command .From what I know is that they will not be married and he will pose to be her husband and the father of her child ( when it is Arjun's baby ) ..and he will be taking care of her and the baby as his own ...Wow , I mean a big doctor , a big name ...doing all this for you when he gets nothing back in return ...not even love ..😕

I did not feel sorry for Arjun and Purvi and I blame the writers for it .Of course there are no Arjun and Purvi and they are characters of someone's imagination ...so it is the writers's fault that they did not back these characters with a good story line ..there had to be a good basis for the sacrifise ...

When Mnav divorced Archana ...there was at least a better story line that he wanted his dead brother's child for his mother and also he could not break his promise to a girl who went ahead with her pregnancy on his words ...plus he was the one who proposed marriage when he felt that his first marriage was going to end ...Even Archana understanding that and going ahead with divorce made sense

But this time there is no proper back up story for this sacrifise ...what did they sacrifise for ???? Ovi ?

Why ? The Deshmukh home was not ruled by Ovi ? If that was the case then Manav would not have agreed to Purvi's kanya daan . Ok, so when Ovi came (after the deal ), and said she wanted Archana back as a mother , Sachin got insecure and went to Archana's house where Sulochna showed him the FDs .That made him realize that Archana is not after money .Then he talked about this with Savita and that is how Teju got to know about Savita and the forged papers ...

But this need not happened ..The FDs should have been known to Sachin when they went for the divorce .The money matters from both sides should have been handled then ..Archana's lawyer should have given the Fds to Manav's lawyer , Sachin ...Why was it Sulochna who was giving those Fds to Sachin ...

There was absoluetly no need at all to do things this way ...and then Teju doing the running around and stopping the divorce ( actually it was her who stopped it but no one ever gives her the credit ) ..Where did Arjun and Purvi played a part ...?????

That is why I am not feeling sorry for either of them as their story is half baked and not backed by a good foundation ...they really don't have any reason why they are sacrifising ..

Anyway , sorry for writing so much ...but just had to get it out after reading your commentary .

Tanya Purvi is Controllig as much as Archana..They both can be the political leaders..Both have sadistic way of thinking abt love-sacrifice..Narcissist galore..

Archana knew the truth abt her not sending divorce papers then why did she not tell the truth to Manav? WHy did she not tell him abt Savita bringing divorce papers and not plane tickets..Why did she not tell Manav abt Sachu's condition abt Manav and Shravni..

Many many wrong things Archana has done and now Purvi with Arjun..

I dont feel sorry for ArMan or ArVi as they take their stupid decisions and create mess with other innocent people's lives..

They put a 3rd person in the middle of their marriage and than someone else gets blamed for it..

Neither mother daughter duo are innocent IMHO..

But how can Ovi be always oh so true and Purvi/Archana etc.

Look whose company Ovi is in... Punni of all the people.

All I can say is that Wah Wah Ektaji, jodi kya banayi...

Ovi aur Punni ko badhai ho badhai.

Ovi may be right to some extent, but she is portrayed as a

Psycho. Its hard to believe that Teju and Ovi are

twins.

This show is gone beyond anyone's control..Its not PR anymore,it has become someything else.Ekta should take a leaf from producers Rajan Sahi (producer of yeh rishta) who is trying to show the leaf on a positive note that fans look forward to it and not double pregnancies , illegitimate affairs ,deaths ,divorces ,custody cases..What else is left in Ekta's band-wagon..Anything is possible in Ekta/PR land.😆

Tanya i don't feel sorry for Arjun Purvi too . They have dug their own graves . They had evrrything on a platter ... Arjun;s father was not insisting on a rich girl although they were very rich ...he was happy with his son's choice .

This is my pov .

Arjun and Purvi should have refused Ovi's deal together .

Whether Ovi would have done a suicide attempt or thrown a tantrum would have been handled by her parents ...Arjun and Purvi should have been firm on their stand as theirs was supposed to be a great love story .

There was no earthly need to hide it from either Archana or Arjun about the offer ...even Ovi had not demanded that . Purvi did that on her own . They were 2 crucial people who should have been told the moment the deal was offered . As it happened one didn't know till the marraige took place and one was told at the last minute so he didn't have time to think it through .

I respect the institution of marraige immensely but i am willing to consider the option of divorce if one is confident beyond hundred percent that the marraige will only and only bring misery . Here even children were not in the picture . The moment the realisation set in that he had made a terrible mistake , Arjun still had time . He should have filed for a divorce .

But he didn't ...he stayed put in a situation stifling to him , doing nataks of wanting a marraige and giving his wife wrong messages only cox Purvi told him to .

Now he has a second chance . He has admitted publicly he still loves Purvi . He should now not be afraid of being the bad guy as he has left nothing to lose ...he should go to the lawyer and file for divorce . He should tell Purvi that whether u marry me or not i am filing for divorce , he should tell Ovi that we will always remain good friends but thats it ,,,,,,,i cannot do justice to this marraige , i am filing for divorce .

But what he does ?

He agrees to sleep and consummate his marraige because Purvi orders him to , he obediently closes his eyes coz she orders him to and he goes to his wife who was expecting anything but this and says all the dialogues Purvi taught him like a well trained puppet .

I find this utterly disgusting . It is as if Purvi has done a number or voodoo on him and he does anything she tells him to ...even sits stands and closes his eyes for her .

I find Purvi very very controlling , dominating and Arjun very weak . In fact i find him totally emasculated .

Conning his wife constantly by projecting Purvi's thoughts as his own is what he is doing . Today was the day and time when he entered the bedroom to tell her the truth , that it simply wouldn't work , even she had accepted that all was over . But he told her some thing else ...lies . Her deal was upfront though not very likable ...she has honestly not told Purvi 'don't tell Arjun ha' . But these lies constantly give her the wrong message . The present on the monthly anniversary gave her the message that he remembered when he hadn't . Purvi had forced him to . But what did it do ...it gave Ovi a wrong wrong message . Just like his dialogues today about wanting a marraige with her is giving her one . Ovi doesn't know that Purvi has taught him ...she thinks he is saying all this coz he wants it .

He will drive her to death one day is my feeling .

This is so funny😃, and a rare moment indeed that for the first time ever I felt sorry for an unwed single young mother. In East or West life, life isn't easy for them. But after reading all your post, esp. the part in Tanya's post about having a young successful Dr. Onir wrapped around her little finger who agrees to 'act' married to Purvi and give her child a name, I feel really annoyed. Yes, Purvi is our MMLA. She deserves no sympathies. Besides, can anyone imagine how she will be the one example of the epitome of Saccha pyaar, waiting in line for Ovi to die and take her place? Wasn't it better for Cvs to show that both these former lovers moves on in life instead of one waiting in the wings and another young successful doc destroying his life in the name of another "Sachha Pyaar" for Purvi...She is one powerful lady at such a young age controlling men around her little finger...wah...wah...

Did Arjun say to Ovi, Purvi was my past and you are my future. what a big liar he has become in Love

Mr Arjun its Purvi,s command you r following Tell your wife I am going to sleep with you because Purvi ask me. I so want to see Ovi's reaction then.

The other thing I dont understand how come Manav allow Ovi to go to Arjun,s house again He should talk to Arjun first that what is all going on,

In reality parents will not leave their daughter with the man who was telling about his love infront of everyone, unless he makes sure that he will keep their daughter very happy. seems like Manav and Archana dont want Ovi to come back in their life.
