Arjun's slap to Ovi was much more harder than Ovi's was to Purvi. And alright so Ovi slapped Purvi, these things happen between sisters. But why the hell is Arjun creating more drama by slapping Ovi in front of her PARENTS? If I were Archana-Manav, then I would have dragged Ovi to her maika after all that occurred at this party. I don't like the slapfests that happen in PR all too often, but if anyone was going to get slapped it should have been Arjun. Boldly declaring that he loves his ex (who doesn't give two hoots about him) should have gotten him a raining parade of slaps from Archana, Manav, Savita, and of course Ovi herself.

and ekta had to show manav archana in the promo otherwise why would audience even want to see and know the reason of arjun purvi ovi in kolkata... that's ekta's publicity she know people will see just to know why archana manav shifted to kolkata...

nina ...thats why i said ...that no parents will stand by and see their daughter hit by a man so hard . I was curious to see their reaction .

Ideally this reaction...

The parents will take their weeping daughter home with them and not let her go to sasural till they have a serious talk about her fate and things r sorted out .

The parents will now take over and talk with their daughter's sasur and their damad who hit their daughter and made this public declaration of love for his saali still

The damad will not be allowed to take the daughter home till he apologises , vows to work on the marraige and also vows it will neer happen again

His Canada upbringing will be brought up as in Western countries they take a strict view if a man hits a woman ...publicly or privately ...it is regarded as abuse

Ovi can put two charges against Arjun ...physically abuse charges and mental abuse charges as he has admitted in front of witnesses that he loves another woman still and proven her point .

What happened was between 2 sisters and the one who was slapped and blamed was sub consciously constantly instigating the other and admitted to her mother in private that she cannot bear to see him with another woman . She knew exactly what she was doing ...see how she hurriedly packed her bags and fled when things boiled over and got too hot . Arjun had no business interfering , her parents would have pulled their hysterical daughter back .

Instead what do the parents do . Nothing , they come home to romance after the mother bids a tearful good bye to one daughter who leaves town to hide face .

It was funny wasn't it, that MAnav was more concern to secure his nights with his teenage wife instead of talking over first with his damad who obvious loves his other daughter and then his Samdaan….no, parent can just stand take a slap to the daughter (right or wrong is another question). Obviously, there are expectations from a damad that he will take care of his wife. A damad slapping publicly a wife within a month of marriage is a very serious issue where dowry deaths are very common and so is wife abuse. Any abuse within the first 7 years of marriage becomes serious police case where the husband and his family are jailed without even a benefit of a question. It is funny, that no one sat with Ovi, Savita, Teju Soham MAnav and the mother, who were all busy and rather inadequate to deal with this situation. The mother could only think of the 'meri jaan' daughter who is actually at fault here, either because of her previous (or present) affair with jeeju and simply by her presence that prevents her ex to move on…the Deshmukh (remember Manav look when he heard Purvi left, what was he doing in the meantime- missing his wife) and Karanjkar family just went on supporting 'meri jaan' as if when Ovi was at fault for not trusting her hubby, even when the Jeeju has all the hots for his saali and publicly declared it too…

This is my pov .

Arjun and Purvi should have refused Ovi's deal together .

Whether Ovi would have done a suicide attempt or thrown a tantrum would have been handled by her parents ...Arjun and Purvi should have been firm on their stand as theirs was supposed to be a great love story .

There was no earthly need to hide it from either Archana or Arjun about the offer ...even Ovi had not demanded that . Purvi did that on her own . They were 2 crucial people who should have been told the moment the deal was offered . As it happened one didn't know till the marraige took place and one was told at the last minute so he didn't have time to think it through .

I respect the institution of marraige immensely but i am willing to consider the option of divorce if one is confident beyond hundred percent that the marraige will only and only bring misery . Here even children were not in the picture . The moment the realisation set in that he had made a terrible mistake , Arjun still had time . He should have filed for a divorce .

But he didn't ...he stayed put in a situation stifling to him , doing nataks of wanting a marraige and giving his wife wrong messages only cox Purvi told him to .

Now he has a second chance . He has admitted publicly he still loves Purvi . He should now not be afraid of being the bad guy as he has left nothing to lose ...he should go to the lawyer and file for divorce . He should tell Purvi that whether u marry me or not i am filing for divorce , he should tell Ovi that we will always remain good friends but thats it ,,,,,,,i cannot do justice to this marraige , i am filing for divorce .

But what he does ?

He agrees to sleep and consummate his marraige because Purvi orders him to , he obediently closes his eyes coz she orders him to and he goes to his wife who was expecting anything but this and says all the dialogues Purvi taught him like a well trained puppet .

I find this utterly disgusting . It is as if Purvi has done a number or voodoo on him and he does anything she tells him to ...even sits stands and closes his eyes for her .

I find Purvi very very controlling , dominating and Arjun very weak . In fact i find him totally emasculated .

Conning his wife constantly by projecting Purvi's thoughts as his own is what he is doing . Today was the day and time when he entered the bedroom to tell her the truth , that it simply wouldn't work , even she had accepted that all was over . But he told her some thing else ...lies . Her deal was upfront though not very likable ...she has honestly not told Purvi 'don't tell Arjun ha' . But these lies constantly give her the wrong message . The present on the monthly anniversary gave her the message that he remembered when he hadn't . Purvi had forced him to . But what did it do ...it gave Ovi a wrong wrong message . Just like his dialogues today about wanting a marraige with her is giving her one . Ovi doesn't know that Purvi has taught him ...she thinks he is saying all this coz he wants it .

He will drive her to death one day is my feeling .
