I have to agree on this. Today, it was plain ridiculous to watch Manav snub his own mother from doing the Ganpati pooja. For heaven's sake, indulging in God's pooja is not someone's right to decide who can and who cannot do it. And this is his mother. tomorrow, even if Varsha wants to do pooja, no one can dictate to her that you are a bad person, so you cannot touch god.
I am little sick of this whole trying to repudiate their own actions and blaming the mother for everything. I don;t know what the Cv's are trying to depict in this show. How conveniently, Archana still has no apologized for her own mistakes to either of the children or her husband. All false pretenses of righteousness and the husband is reduced to some bhakt of this mahaan devi where everything else shrouds his perception. How can they both overlook their faults in this scenario? Someone originally posted that ovi could come in between Purvi and Arjun ONLY because they LET her come in between. Same way, ARchana and Manav LET Savita cause havoc in their relationship without having the mutual understanding or trust that is required. And yet, they both simply go unscathed. Manav still apologized but what about Archana. I am not saying Savita is not at fault, yes she is totally deserving of all the blame, but Archana needs to apologize profusely to her kids and husband for all her past misdeeds esp court case and Soham. But no, Mahaanta is glorified in a way that faults don't matter in the grand scheme of sacrifice.
Manav is simply a bin pende ka lota. When his mother fills his ears, he moves against Archana and when he finds out Archana's big dil, he goes against his mother. Such a man deserves neither. And he is pointing fingers at the ay Ovi and Teju were brought up? Well, my dear devdas, while you were being the poorest example of a father, YOUR MOTHER was busy raising 3 kids at her 60+ age. The least you can do is be thankful your children did not die out of neglect and she raised you to be who you are.
And then he crawls back into the K house for his MIL who has sabotaged his self-respect at every chance she has found and yet what she does is forgiven because as kools puts it " Manav cannot thank this devi for having given birth to his beautiful holy goddess of a wife who he cannot stop staring at even at 50". He has the nerve to keep Damo who was equally repelling to forgive when he kept his mouth shut for so long and also his amazing fatherly and husband skills at keeping his family together, but poor savita who has single handedly managed to raise the kids and the house has to be treated in a way worse than the Abu-Ghraib prisoners, whilst the wife gets the romance and the devi status and the unlimited wardrobe too.
Har pagalpan ki hadd hoti hai, magar Manav ko seemaon se koi rishta nahi hai. Hate your mother when shes 70, romance your wife at 50, ignore your kids when they are 20.
