Ummm...

No every girl in the rainy weather in Mumbai need not hang on to their virtue.😆😆 What to do ...it is the rainy season and going out is a necessity !

But dancing purposefully in the rain with outstretched arms with the fiancee looking on in a lonely spot during alone time is questionable when sanskaars are tooted so much !

As far as negative or positive conjecture goes one can never say with serials !

And yes ...70% of the males do have roving eyes and watch a wet female from the corner of their eyes . Assuming anything otherwise is naivete in my opinion but that is my opinion .

Btw i find it odd that Purvi feels so shy when Arjun touches her casually but had no problems throwing her dupatta down in front of a businessman while the whole office watched .

As far as the pregnancy goes and how virtuous Purvi is and how she will never stoop to Shravani's level ...no one hates any character but it is a mere response to an assumption made by other members on the basis of some articles floating around . I think they do it because the forum is a place to talk and to air different opinions not just a particular type of opinion .

We have heard of blind love but there is blind hate going on as well.

They want us to look at Ovi's POV while they themselves fail to look at other character's POV. Like Purvi and Archana.

You know I never thought India is such a Taliban state now that a girl cant even dance in the rain with her fiance looking on, just an innocent dance of joy that all her dreams of love are coming true! It doesnt follow that her fiance will jump on her as soon as he gets a chance...😆

I think Arjun is more of a gentleman than that and he will respect her wishes and Purvi will not wish to jump into the haystack with him at the first opportunity.
Ive watched most of Ekta serials and they always present "Roop tera mastana" scenes in an elaborate manner, they would show them inside the cottage coming closer, almost kissing, then fade out with some random fire burning in the background...😆 Typical symbolism stuff like in old Hindi movies!
And IF they had "done it" then Purvi would look ashamed, distraught, guilty when she returned home, instead she looked happy and chirpy as she got down from the auto...until she spotted psycho Ovi standing there..
Hints would be there but no such hints are given so it will just be Purvi sacrificing her love for her mother's happiness! While evil Ovi barters her acceptance of her mother in exchange for Arjun!
Proves the adage : You can choose your friends but u cant choose your relatives!
Archana is better off without such an inhuman daughter and shes blessed to have a devoted daughter like Purvi who she adopted at a young age!

@Bold about that comment of yours 😆, the only reason they are coming up with lame reasons is because they really have nothing to say in the defense of Ovi's SAUDA.

Really who does this type of Sauda for a boy who does not even love you and does not even look at you or care.

Ovi's has lost all her senses and her conscience is dead. What does she think after she gets Arjun what will happen after that.

If Ovi's truly loved Arjun she would not be doing what she is doing.

Ovi will get Arjun but he will be dead from inside and when he finds out what Ovi did and made his love feel like hell. Then Arjun will hate Ovi for sure.

Have you watched the movie "Armaan"? Ovi is just like Preity Zinta in that movie, a spoilt, rich girl, who is mentally unbalanced and who is used to getting everything she wants in life!
Arjun has become an obsession with her because she cannot get him! She will do anything to get him, go to any lengths and she doesnt care that he doesnt love her, but loves another girl!
Her love isnt real, its a sick obsession. If she really loved Arjun, she would have accepted his choice and been happy in his happiness! But shes mentally unbalanced just like Preity in that movie!

Purvi was anything but happy and chrpy after coming home after her tryst in the rain . In fact it was commented upon . She looked rather thoughtful.

For a girl to dance her 'innocent' dance of joy in the rain India does not have to become a Talibanisque country and forbid it but it is India which talks of culture and definetely eyebrows are raised . And they are showing Purvi raised with middle class values aren't they . Nobody in India will mind if it is husband and wife but if it is just a fiancee ...yes tongueswill wag . Why , the neighbours were even talking about how Purvi is marrying for money . PR is full of scenes with tongue waggers . Without them the serial won't run ! It is not because India is Talibanisque ... it is simpy because India is India !

As far as Arjun being a gentleman and Purvi not stooping to Shravani's level is concerned we will wait and watch .

@Pallavi25, yes I have seen that movie, in the end they show that Priety armaam remain just that Armaan.

I surely do not want this type of end for Ovi, I hope Ovi wakes up and sees the reality before it too late.

About if Arjun and Purvi has done the deed that we will have to wait and see.

If Ekta had wanted them to do that deed, the audience would have been shown.

I had the idea that EDUCATED people of India are trying to fight such Talibanesque mentality that a girl cannot dance in the rain with her fiance!
The neighbours shown in PR are mostly less educated, conservative, backward-thinking people who have no life of their own other than gossip about young women and be catty about them!
They are mostly women too, showing such Indian women hate their own gender and pass up no chance to attack and criticize other women, especially bashing young women who are going out to work or falling in love! Like those are serious crimes and going against the inferior status relegated to women of middle classes!
No wonder India is one of the world's most dangerous countries for women to live in! They are the targets of rape, violence, abuse and harassment which are inflicted on them not only by majority of men but at the same time they are bashed and abused by other Indian women too!

As they say "Women are the women worst enemy" is true. These saying just do not come out of no where.

The sub continent is like that only, where the women face such brutality and the other women in some ways support it.

Exactly! "Women are worst enemy of women" And that is always portrayed in most Hindi serials, unfortunately true in most cases!
In the movie Armaan, Preity did manage to marry Anil Kapoor through her psychotic manipulations and using her dad's money power! The love birds suffered in silence while the crazy wife acted all possessive and psychotic with Anil Kapoor. I think finally she has an accident which almost kills her, Gracy Singh saves her life and then Preity sees the light and reforms.
Do u think Ovi will ever reform?
And I dont think Arjun will ever marry her even if Purvi leaves him at the altar! Unless Ovi pulls some other trick! Maybe bride switching at the mandap...but in Marathi weddings, bride's face is not hidden so thats not possible either!

I dont think Arjun will ever marry Ovi, even if Purvi does something. Arjun will go after Purvi and make her answer him and wont let go unless and until he gets the truth.

Unless the cv's are hell bent on ruining Arjun's character. Then we might se him marrying Ovi.

I would hope so Ovi does reform and sees the light before it's too late. also find out how Punni used her so she could take revenge on Purvi.

Yes that is why Preity's character's Armaan remained Armaan in the end. In that movie they showed Preity char got nothing in the end.
