How exactly are Arjun and Purvi 'selfish' ?! - Page 2

Okay, i see your point, but i still dont see how thats selfisb of Arjun. If he was really selfish, he wouldt have made contact with Manav before taking Purvi away, so Manav could make a move and handle the goons so Purvi could be saved. I would call it selfish IF Arjun simply made no contact with Manav and just took Purvi- because then Manav's life would be in even more danger along with their's


Im jusy saying, was anyone selfish in yesterday's episode? I feel tagging anyone as selfish in yeat episode is too strong ...

Now for those members who fall into the above 2 statements, will say that both are selfish.

My belief is that what ever could have happened between Arjun and Ovi after their marriage is better what happened before their marriage. Ovi and Arjun marriage would not have survived a year and is it not better that Ovi should be thankful that the man that she worshipped was not meant to be hers and better as it ended now.

I don't think so any one against ARVI specially in the case of Ovi..as PR viewers we all know how much proud girl Ovi is, she don't know how to respect elders and she proved as she is heartless lady in the purvi's case...not only for purvi..if any one against her she will do the same thing...most worst character in PR is Ovi..

Secondly, how is Purvi being selfish? The girl's been k i d n a p p e d. She's been away from her loved ones and Romeo, she obviously has no sense at the moment. She started crying the minute she saw Arjun at the car window; that was her breath of "yes, i can finally be rescued". And the way Manav and Arjun did what they did last minute, Purvi might have thought of it as a planned act, no?! Im pretty sure i would have thought that.

Thirdly, if anyone was harmed, it was Arjun; he's the one who got shot. Even being temporarily handicapped, he saved Purvi. If he hadn't then I'd understand the accusation. Saving two people at once, like i said before, isnt a good idea since the target is Manav, but the road to the target is Purvi. In the very situation they all were in, saving both would be like a "miracle". If Arjun saved Manav, where in the world would the logic be?! He kinda can't leave Purvi at the hands of the police and Vishnu the great. And anyways, Purvi is a girl, and Manav a man, so if anything he can put up a fight, Purvi on the other hand will not last long in a fight, now will she?!

So i don't see how Arjun and Purvi are exactly "selfish".

Sorry esha..arjun indeed selfish. He too doesn't know police was there. He went to the van and trying to take purvi away even he knew manav was there with the goons. If he succeed take purvi away from the goons without been noticed, the goons will surely extremely mad and this would put manav life at danger. Yes he should just sit back at home and waiting manav to deal with the goons and take purvi home safely. Remember..the goons only wanted Manav alone come with the money. What was he thinking..? Take purvi away and that's it? He forgot manav is risking his life there.
Arjun just took decision without thinking. And he messed up everything. And he's been shot because of his selfish and unwise decision.
He's not only risking his life..but also Manav's and Purvi's life too.
Should he sit at home..manav will surely took purvi home safely. Forget the money..life is more important.
But if the plan went wrong..time for plan B.

Esha...i agree with you...thought it unrealistic and even odd anyone should think that they were selfish. Of course he had to go to try rescue her...she is his life. Of course he couldnt/shouldn't sit home. Kidnappings aren't choreographed dances, they are gut level life and death responses. He didn't mess anything up... Purvi probably would have been killed or harmed, not by Vishnu whom i think would let her go, but by his crazy and jealous for power co-horts.

Manav wasnt gng to hanging garden tat arjun joined him,he knew hw selfish and dumb arjun is wich he proovd.he cld hav calld manav and requstd him so tat he can join him.the kidnapprs had no plan to keep purvi or manav bck,they were discussing their plan wich dnt include it.its aftr d police entd wen they thought of chngng d plan,and aftr dey saw arjun they got mre angry.arvi cld surrendr themselv especialy wen he saw gun in vishnu hand and in manav head.manav tld arjn to stop but he dint.hnestly i wasnt wrried for arjun,but was scared 4 manav and purvi.actualy arjun is stupid hemakes decisn in haste,evn wen he said yes 4 ovi and declard he is her wld b fiance jst to save ovi frm tat guy was so silly.do guys hav to get married to d girl whom dey save.he cld hav said she is my friend and it was a party where evry1 was present,and teju beat tat guy too.he doesnt knw to mke decisns

Esha, i completely agree with. Arjun's love has been kidnapped, its obvious that he wants to see her safe and sound. If he had simply stayed at home, that would've proved that he is not truly in love. his first thought was to save his love.

I don't think it's a matter of either/or ...Both Manav and Arjun are working together. Both have to be there for different but very important reasons.
