Since then, bee5 has taught me how to expand the font on the webpage, and thus as I type out the posts, while leaving it at the same 2 points for the posts when they are sent. So now that problem has been sorted out.
Shyamala,
This reminds me something that I missed answering. Not sure if someone else did.
Anyway here it is. If you want to reference a post from a different thread by just providing link instead of cutting and pasting the entire content, do this -
1. Open the IF page in a new tab of the browser.
2. Click on 'My Posts', then you can recognize your post from the various threads.
3. Right click on the particular post that you want to use, and click on 'Copy Link Location' from the menu.
4. Paste the link in the new post you are writing up.
For #3, if you are using Firefox, this will just give you the link in text format. In order to make it a clickable link, highlight the text of the link and click on the icon which is 2nd left to the Emoticon icon on the IF editor and make sure you remove the "http://" from the text which is redundant, and click OK.
Optionally you can also encapsulate the link text within URL codes. Click on 'Forum Code' link which is just above the 'Post Reply' button.
On Google Chrome, you don't have to do this additional circus to make it a click-able link. Instead of 'Copy Link Location' choose 'Open Link in a New Tab'. Copy the link from the new tab and paste it in the editor, it automatically make it a click-able link.
Hope that helps.
