Jotting down quickly what all happened in the episode with Purvi and nothing else on Archana or Arjun or DK. This is just from her side:
- When police ask Archana if she can come and give statement, it is Purvi who wants to go with Archana. Archana stops her. But bcos of Sulo, Purvi could go to the station.
- In the police station, Purvi is looking at Arjun with tearful eye all of the time but she feels chained bcos of Archana's diktat that she can't even go meet him.
- Even earlier, Purvi who decides to call Arjun to thank him backs off at the last moment just bcos she doesn't want to go against Archana. Purvi does not want to do anything on the sly.
- Purvi is glad that Archana testifies in favor of Arjun in the Police Station but they refuse to let him go since the kidnap victim is still unconscious and they want his statement as well. The reason is also bcos Arjun himself being a rich businessman and a son of one is currently a mechanic, which the police do not understand the logic of.
- Though Purvi is glad Archana could tell the truth about Arjun and doesn't want to defy Archana, I don't think she doesn't understand that Arjun's current state is because of Archana. I feel somewhere she is angry or somewhere she is unhappy with Archana being the reason for this and hence she refuses to go meet Arjun in person though she herself is suffering silently and can do nothing, not even talk to him. She does know that Arjun will know that she will always be with him even if she doesn't say a word. Her tearful eyes really speaks volumes of sympathy, kindness and helplessness.
- I am glad finally Purvi just walks away without meeting Arjun when she realizes no matter what Arjun cannot be let out until Police gets that guy's statement and refuses to meet when finally Archana asks her to go meet Arjun. Why should she? When Archana asks her not to meet, she shouldn't and when she says 'go meet', she should? As I had written in the past, Purvi does want Archana's approval for their relationship but she doesn't want to get that either by force or by pity.
So, I stand in support of Purvi today.😊
