And at the same time becoming stronger of her support of Arjun. Like Shyamala I love the part of not wanting Archana's support out of pity or force.

I hope the point of this prison nonsense is that the family will all come to understand and respect the deep love between them. I further hope it's because of Purvi's strong fight for Arjun's innocence that will further demonstrate the depth of their love. I want to see a strong, goal oriented Purvi. Not a whinny, crying weak person.

Thanks Aviaanya.

I think it takes guts to refuse what you so deeply want. From the time Purvi came to know that it was Arjun who infact brought Sulo to the hospital, she is in deep gratitude of him. Now he has landed in this mess and she has not been able to speak a word to him of her own pain, fear or say 2 words of support to him. How much she might have wanted to do that, isn't it? And if she refused an opportunity to do that, doesn't that mean that it has taken so much of effort and resolve from her side to do that? That itself I feel shows a STRONG Purvi for us. I don't know why, but in today's episode, I saw her strength even though her eyes were filled with tears and she seemed completely helpless and dependent on Archana. That refusal had a great resolve.

Agree, who wouldn't want a spitfire Purvi who is totally in control of her life, but I think, this is not a question about her fellow colleagues' employment continuation or a question of about 10 laptops that she would become a Jhansi-ki-Rani, but this is a question of love and her life where she cannot get what she wants with a rebellious attitude.

But yeah, I don't understand whether if this whole jail track is to show if Arjun is the good and capable boy or if it is for Archana to understand how wrong she is or if it is simply added to drag few more episodes. πŸ˜†

Bee thanks for the response. I see your point of view. It does take a lot of resolve not to give in to the temporary carrot tossed at her. Also on looking at the episode I am thinking the track is more of the latter. To demonstrate to Archana her hugh misunderstanding and most horrible challenge to Arjun. Sometimes I look at these tracks and think do the writers think of all possible ways to make Archana cry and contemplate how majboor? You know more Vicks for Archana. LOL

On a separate note , Poor Arjun. Talk about the trial and tribulations of love. Wow, I do hope this track does not damage his self esteem and confidence. Don't destroy his character!

I really liked your analysis of purvis behavior! Sometimes it is difficult to watch the episodes but when you get to read such great analysis' and it automatically puts the episode in a different perspective. So thank you!

Aviaanya,
@bold: I can take that as your view but I am highly skeptical πŸ˜†about that because after all it is Archana whom we are dealing with, the lead of the show and the favorite of the CVs. A lead of the show is generally never taught but is used to teach othersπŸ˜† Just see how it all turned out to be in the episode today. They made Archana go beg to DK and not anyone else, there by becoming the whole and sole savior of Arjun. Archana, the villain of Arjun-Purvi love story, from a day back, all of a sudden became the protector of Arjun. πŸ˜†

Hmmm... will have to wait and watch where this is going.
That kidnap victim till now just happens to be unconscious and not dead. Looks like CVs are buying time here. If they want they can really turn the whole situation into a big big mess by making that guy dead πŸ˜†

Dear bee5,

A lovely analysis, and I particularly liked, and completely agree with @red.

As for the last para, I have doubts as to whether Archana will ever accept, even to herself, that she was wrong in the way she treated Arjun. Sanctimonious people, who are convinced of their own rectitude, rarely admit to mistakes.

As for Arjun, if you are referring to the jail segment and not the whole chawl phase, he does not come out as particularly capable or strong. In fact he gets rattled and is thus even more incoherent than usual. I must say the police, who think he is an accredited gang member, are quite moderate in the way they handle him. Manav was much rougher.

So that leaves only the last option, to extend the story by a week or two, while they think of what to do next.
