Wasn't archu a Sensible Mother Today???

I am Back to share my Views and Discuss on it.
First in Place, wish to bring to Notice that this thread wasn't open to Bash the actor or whom plays it or Neither the Character.
Just to share,Discuss and place the Views with Due respect both to the Fellow member and the cast of PR.

It might have looked Harsh on archu's Part, But Wasn't she a sensible mother Today???
For Me ,Yes. She was.

She herself was Crazy in Love, she doesn't have a Proper definition of it when it comes to Herself. I dont Buy it,Wasn't able to understand this 7 janam Kya Pyaar from her side with the Definitions she Has.

But for the First time as a Mother, she analyzed what could had been a sensible love or a Good one for Her Daughters. She Analyzed, For the First time , she take into account what she had seen so far, what she has been made to hear so far, what she had been made to Listen so far, She took all this into account and took a decision that Arjun wasn't fit for her daughters.
Was that Wrong?

I would say Nooo. look at from what has been seen till now and what behavior was shown By arjun till now. will any parent accept his Love with the way he handled things and done so far.
If such a thing has happened with their Two daughters, any parent wouldn't.

Accepting one, Leading on one with a Promise, then broking it after sometime saying that I have found someone. is that right??
Oh ok, if sometime later, If that person finds other one before marriage and feels that she would be a even more better option that He feels all with her, then is it right to broke the second engagement too.

so was that Parent wrong to deny such a Proposal.

I wasnt her to bash or degrade Arjun, But as such the Cvs as showed this character so far and from the character archu as a Mother, this is what i could Interpret and Decide.

So for the First Time ,I found her Decision as a Mother, right. Didnt feel she was wrong.
Its a better one for both her Daughters. she wasnt asking Purvi to sacrifice. as far as she seen, arjun wasnt worth for Purvi's love. so she wants Purvi to get a Better One.

Actually I was surprised that she wasnt all for the love and accept it just with telling crazy things about love and talking about Pavitra rishta. she has once decided sensibly. And wasnt supporting such a Love Which couldn't be said that it has a strong base.

Hope she stays in this stand where she analyse things and then decide.

Waiting to read other Views too. But Please consider the first point I put too in Italics. 😳

I understand her intent, but I don't agree with her approach. If she reasons with Ovi logically and calmly, she should do the same with Purvi. Btu instead they show her going on the "Where were you? With Arjun!?" speech. To end her point, she blackmails Purvi saying "It's your aai or Arjun." I feel Archana put Purvi in a comprimising position, causing Purvi to shrivel away. In the precap, Archana should not bring in Arjun's social status into the question because it has nothing to do with his love for Purvi. I am proud of Archana for protecting her girls but I wish the CVs kept her cool and rationality consistent. 😊

Was she talking about the Social status of Arjun???
There Goes the Cvs with their famous Poverty Praising Track.
This is what they do always with archu's character.
Dont Know what love they have for that Kind of Tracks that they always want to portray that Happiness lies there and Through archu they Now and then Does it.

That might be archu's style of challenging😆, oops only now i thought she was sensible as a mother,why does she goes with such challenges and talk on social status.

she could have simply said that I was not Ok with you as a Damaad as your past actions weren't of credibility.

Regarding Understanding Ovi's Plight and Not Purvi's ,I dont Think so.
Its a general decision she has took that Arjun wasnt a good one for her daughters.
And with Purvi ,may be she is close and archu had brought her up, she is telling with some strictness as With respect to her, Arjun was not a Good option

I was also happy with Archana as a mother .Also happy with Manav as Ovi's daddy .

Manav did right that he wanted to send Ovi and Teju back ...

he was also right in saying that he cannot work with Arjun any more .

Archan was great that she thinks that both girls are way too good for Arjun .I know Arjun had his reasons for doing what he did but he has to tell those reasons ..he has not done that at all so how are Manav and Archana supposed to knowc why he did what he did ..

For all they know is that he stayed engaged to their daughter Ovi and for a good month or more was acting like a good fiance and did not say one single word to Manav ...

Arjun and his dad have made a terrible mistake ..

Shame on DK for not showing any concern at all for Ovi after treating her like a bahu and telling her that Arjun is in love with her ...that idea of secret engagemnt was his ...he should have asked Manav about how Ovi is doing .

Agreed with you that DK should have shown some sympathy towards Ovi as he has known her just as long as his own son.

Dk's Behaviour Just makes me Go 😕.

Though not so a person of big Romance and Love,
This character had a credibility, Likeability and something in him, though rigid and strict, that make him see and to be Liked before the leap when he was introduced.
I liked him a Lot when he was introduced.

But all goes in Vain now. This character as been totally lost and made into something else now.

Alas...while Archana's 2 braincells preformed to maximum capacity today (when she rightly told Savita that Arjun os not worthy of both Purvi and Ovi) ... these braincells could not keep going for long enough for her to treat Purvi with the sensibility (and compassion) she showed to Ovi. Without even having to hear what poor Purvi has to say about the entire situation ...she resorted to giving poor Purvi an ultimatum... seriously... does she not remember all the CRAP she had to go through to be with Manav - and now she turns around and delivers the same unfair crap that was dished out to her and Manav when they were in love??? How sensible is that???

Of course ... when Soulachana intervenes - she'll do something equally ridiculous - like testing Arjun ... to see if he can make something of himself on his own - to prove his love for Purvi ... clearly she has not learnt from the mistakes of her elders ... which is pathetic - as she of all people should understand Purvi's dillema ... or at least hear what Purvi have to say... For God's sake - up to this point in time she has not even allowed Purvi to explain herself ---and you guys call her a WONDERFUL mother ??? Just because her 2 braincells became momentarily activated to create ONE sensible reaction does not make her a good mother --- cause it's easily lost in the entire OCEAN of her dumb, clueless mistakes.

DK is always shown very loving father like person to manav daughter esp he admires ovi a lot i m expecting a scene btw ovi and dk where dk come and just like a good father explain her all that happen i think ovi will defi listen to him and may be this help her to calm down but DK AND ARJUN both are showin sitting in their bar and having a drink like as if they win a biggg business deal .DK adore ovi and treat her like father now its high time he should come and talk to ovi .

as out of topic but i like to point it out that its high time punni deserve a big punishment of all she had done to manav and archana daughters before manjusha destroy arman life now her daughter is doing the same.

Here is my view. I would say Archana was ok today to me her saying that Ovi nor Purvi is fit for Arjun was a little too much. Arjun was very wrong to cheat both Purvi and Ovi but then at the same time Archana too had abandoned Ovi and Teju both. She had also cheated Ovi and for these 18 years she had shown no concern for them and now suddenly she starts worrying about Ovi so much. I can understand Ovi not wanting or wishing Archana's concern.

But my main question is who would Archana be to decide whether Ovi deserves Arjun or not? The choice should be Ovi's.

Arjun was definitely wrong to betray Ovi and Ovi should probably realize that Arjun never did love her and move on. She does not deserve Arjun at all but Archana saying this was kind of too much. If she had took care of Ovi-Tej since they were little then she may have had the right to say what's right for Ovi but she never once took care of her during her childhood so I don't really think she should have a say in what goes on in Ovi's life.

I found Archana very disrespectful in the precap as she had insulted Arjun by bringing in his social status and money. Sulo has insulted Manav in similar ways too and now it's Archana insulting Arjun. Becoming a K damaad is a horror story.😆
