Shyamala wonderful analysis as always. I am a bit emotionally drain from the whole thing. I am so over all the physical abuse..kyaa? I have to agree with your analysis of Archana. I am so baffled by her in ability to communicate clearly. How many of the situations she finds herself in is on misunderstandings. And its not like she can't scream so she can be heard its her inability to use the right words.

What I would love to see is Arjun having a real heart to heart talk with Ovi. I find it a bit puzzling, if they are such good old friends. I do wish the Cv's would allow that to happen. Ovi's reaction is understandable and I do wish it was handled a bit more civilize. But again once Manav entered and was ready for a fight after being instigated by Punni. It was a point of no return. How different it would have been if he came in and DK and Arjun had a chance to tell him the truth.

I loved the DK and AK conversation and wish for more rishtas on this show to be like that. Where the characters speak to each other in a mature, civilized way. Show a little more emotional intelligence and not resorting to brawls.

As for Ms. Purvi, maybe we will have a treat of them going together to the Mandir like in the confession episode.

Hi Shyamala , so you didn't like the show that much today ...

I totally agree with you about Archana being the Mother of all doormats .It is just aweful to see her so concerned about the man who physically abused her i nfront of her children and then called her the worst possible mother ...

I did like the way she was taking care of Ovi and also was worried that even Purvi has got involved with a wrong guy ...

I do hope she soon finds out the truth why Arjun did not tell all this sooner .It will not be easy .Arjun has made mistakes , huge mistakes ...let's see how he convinces Archana ...

I really do not think that there is any Arvi reunion for a long time to come .If anything at all, Purvi must be very angry with Arjun that he did not do as she asked him to do and he hurt her daddy by telling him the truth ...

You guys have to realize one thing .Manav means much much more to Purvi than Arjun or anyone else ...

For the reunion to happen , Arjun has to go through the right channel and that is Archana and Sulochna and DK too has to have a word with Archana ..

Manav was so hurt ...simply brilliant acting by Hiten and also young Ovi showed a lot of promise in terms of acting ...I hope he calms down probably wil lfind out that Archana did not know but by then Archana could be getting Purvi and Arjun to gether so it is back to square one ..

I say Archana should just forget about Manav and what he is saying or anything else ...he is most of the time nasty to her anyway ...she should just concentrate on her girls ..

One of them needs her ver yvery badly and that is Ovi ...

Ovi did not sound mentally sane to me ...she is in a very seriosu case of denial ...savita making it worse by using the whole situation to make Archana look bad ...

DK was good when he told Manav off for hurting Archana ...

I really hate this yaar ...I bet they won't even show Manav saying sorry and even if he does , this doormat Archana will beg him not to say sorry ...But that does not make a wrong into a right ...🤢

Domestic violence is so wrong and that si what was shown in Pavita Rishta today ..

Manav may have been the hero ,the great human being and all that ...but today he raised his hand on his wife in front of her grown up children and the whole Chawl ..

Shame on Him...👎🏼

Thank you Shyamala for such an excellent post! I cant wait to watch the episode myself. I am a little irritated with Archana's views that Arjun is 2 timing both girls. I am going to try to give her the benefit of the doubt and say she was not there to here Arjun's repeated firm statements that he loves Purvi.

The display in the hall of the chawl in front of the neighbors makes me think of the kind of drama we here would expect from what we call the "trailer trash". The fishwife type shouting, shoving around, yelling at the top of the lungs---Savita is clearly a member of our "trailer trash" class. Lacking any sense of culture and refinement.

However, I realize that Manav is an enraged father who at the moment is as blind as his obtuse daughter. His other children have more sense because they understand and know the truth. Id written several posts regarding Teju's initial reaction the day after she landed in India. When Ovi tells her that Arjun has been trying to call her almost daily to talk about their relationship and says he has something to tell her...Teju absolutely expresses doubt and wants to know how Ovi is so sure that Arjun loves and misses her. The problem is that her only mistake was not continuing in following with her gut instinct which was correct all along...instead of investigating further, she decided she must be wrong and accepted and went along with things. As we now know, this turned out to be a colossal mistake of epic proportions and can be added to our list of "if onlys."

You are right too my dear...I am indeed the one who pointed out that the show is set up such that it is not possible for Arjun/Purvi, and Archana/Manav to be 2 blissfully happy couples, in love with each other with no misunderstandings/conflict between them----at the same time. Its either one or the other. Thats why I predicted this before...we saw some growing warmth for ARMAN while we were subjected to the MU track of ARVI. I had mentioned before that this is exactly what would happen...an Arjun/Purvi reunion will definitely in some way lead to major misunderstandings between Archana and Manav and Ovi will definitely turn negative- there was never any doubt about that.

Coming to the precap...It is a great relief to hear that you believe this will be a beautiful love scene--and indeed all "evidence" if you will (yes Im aware Im not in court 😉) points to this. The rain, him standing on a bridge for the first time we have seen yet, the lack of promos/SBS to give us a heads up--this clearly indicates a very intense romance scene ahead. When the negative scenes were coming, there were plenty of SBS/Promos remember? Even for Purvi's confession we were mentally set up to be prepared that the surprise engagement party was being filmed.(there was an article out the same day- and we had seen the SBS of the confession showing Ovi landing in India at the same time. I remember this had even led to speculation in this forum that she would run into Arjun/Purvi at the airport itself!!!)

I think that a slap scene, or confrontation/misunderstanding would not have been done in the rain. It does not fit the pattern we have seen thus far. The bridge itself, the way he is standing, drenched in the rain, and nobody else around or in sight signifies romance for sure...and its also the 1st time we have seen such a setting. I hope this is a clear indication that we are in for a very pleasant intense reunion scene...😳

Hello shyamala.. Wonderful post.. It completes our rendezvous with PR for d day..
Ovi is indeed delusional.. And so is archana for calling arjun unworthy of anybody's love!!
manav turned out to be like his mother.. Too much screaming in front of d whole world..
DK and arjun wer just wonderful..d emotions, dialogues n hug beautifully brought out d father son relationship..
As for d precap.. Its a cold rainy night.. A tight hug is due :-)

your summary got me thinking..maybe purvi walking towards a waiting arjun is symbolic of him telling her in the previous rain episode.."maine apna haath badaa liya..ab tumhari bari hain"..so, maybe that is her way of extending her hand..

am i hoping for too much???

How does she get there if she wanted nothing more to do with him? Did DK get to her first? Did he extoll the praises of his knightly son and tell Princess Purvi of his gargantuan feat in the dragon's lair? 😆

Purvi needs to confess her love for Arjun and accept this rishta soon. It's about time they face down their naysayers together and give Punni a great big hug before sending her to the dungeons! 😆

I also hope that the precap is not the end of Friday's show either 😆 That would ruin my entire weekend having to wait for ARVI bliss. 😆

Me too Laurie! 😊 Didnt watch the episode...just the precap on Issa's thread. I dont know I cant tell. She seems soft...but then also a little mad...but then am not sure...Ashas expressions are somewhat hard to read sometimes 😕 Sometimes she can look mad when she is not. At first I thought it was one of those...god we've been through so much...just emotional Im about to cry look before falling into his arms. Then watched again...couldnt tell if there is a little anger there too? Ok so we are all in deep suspense untl tomorrow looks like...
