I liked the Archana-Savita segment only because it was such a pleasant surprise. I do not think it will DO any good, except for viewers like me who cannot stand any more of rona dhona.

As for the Monster-in-Law's (I to like the name, but it is tiresome for typing out, what with the 2 capitals and the 2 hyphens) grand revelation on Thursday, what I am hoping (very hard, even against hope) is that on learning the truth. Teju, after a minute of stunned silence, will run across to Archana, hug her, and burst into tears.

At that moment (if ever it happens) I shall be focussing on Savita's face. It would be a treat!! I don't much care what Ovi does; in the end she always follows Teju's lead. Thus will Savita's goose be well and truly cooked, and this time I WILL dance a celebratory jig.

Lastly, I do not remember the precap showing Purvi making any decision to tell all, either to Archana or to Arjun. I think she will do nothing for the present, let us see. As for the truth being the best bet, it depends a great deal on the circumstances. At times, it can become a self-indulgent exercise in relieving one's own conscience at the cost of great pain for others.

Bee, the way I saw Purvi insist on Arjun listening in to her conversation with Ovi, (yes, she should not have as Ovi was pouring out her feelings of insecurity but Purvi perhaps did not know this going into the conversation?), was -

1) Purvi feels more secure in her relationship with Arjun than she lets on - she trusts he will not share that she did this and she is comfortable sharing her conversations with him (much like a husband and wife?). Ovi on the other hand still has some barriers where Arjun is concerned inspite of the bond they share, she is not willing to expose her deepest vulnerabilities about him to him. Purvi has no such hang-ups, she lets him know every step of the way that he has hurt her and that she did let down her guard with him. Unconsciously, but I see that she is very, very sure of him in her own way, not about the fact that he will own up to Ovi any time soon but about their sense of belonging despite their present situation and misunderstanding.

2) reason why she wanted Arjun to listen to the conversation? my take was a bit different on this. I think it is a combination, of your reason 2 and something more. She wants to let him know that Ovi is deeply in love with him and that in insisting to carry on with her, Purvi, he is bound to hurt Ovi. Not that she herself doesn't want Arjun but that it is an impossible situation and that she is nearly at the end of her tether. "Look what you have done, are you guilty now? You are going to hurt her, you have already hurt me. See where your cowardice has brought all of us, I don't think you can get out of this as easily as you think however long you take. You let me down, make sure you don't let her down at least." Arjun read all this and hence, his guilt ridden face.

Our confident Purvi, has she thought about that before telling those powerful dialogues of breaking trust, making Arjun feel guilty? Wouldn't Ovi question her with the same "I trusted you and you broke my trust?"

Purvi comes across looking confused. Externally she doesn't want Arjun, but internally quite the opposite.😆

But all else aside, Arjun did portray the same old emotions and the new guilt emotions very well. RD is a great actor. Loved Purvi and Jia's acting too...simply funtastik...Bechara Arjun, kab uski lines badlengi...CVs are not even giving him a chance...and i liked ur carbon copy scenes analogy too...not to forget the purpose of doors and keyholes in hindi soaps...ha ha...really well put...
