Soapwatcher, Finally you are here! I was awaiting your comments and I'm glad you did not disappoint me.
You wrote all that I had in my head but would not want to write for various reasons.
I am also amazed that you caught some of the things from my post which I had just thrown as hints.

Tanyaz brought up a very good point that "Purvi should be warning Archana against getting Ovi married to Arjun if he were a cheater".
She simply isn't because she knows in the heart of hearts that he is the best one can get.

All those looking at him with tears in her eyes while 'Rabba tu itna bata de' goes on in the background is because she knows what she lost and can *never* have.

So all those screaming and not letting him talk is so that she can drive him away and also so that she doesn't become weak and fall for him all over again.

As of today, that is how it looks, but I am not sure if they would want to change it tomorrow bcos THIS is a daily soap and script is written everyDAY.

Coming to Arjun's ring. The ring in Arjun's hand bothers me too, I wish I can yank it out and throw it in the nearest bin[but that is just me]. But think about the consequences if he removes it.
- At office people are going to talk - why what is wrong with our boss who just got engaged recently.
- What is he going to answer to the family - Manav, Archana or anyone who sees that. Yeah he can lie between his teeth.
- God forbid if Ovi gets to see him without the ring. All hell would break loose.

There is also 1 more reason why CVs have to have that ring in Arjun's hand - simply because they can get their character Purvi to mouth-out words like 'You are a cheater' at him. So, this is the bending of characters they indulge in. They have to place their coins right on the board so that they can continue their game. If Arjun stops sporting the ring, then on what basis Purvi is going to argue her case against? So, the ring is the point of contention that is being used to further the hurls Purvi throws against Arjun and Arjun mumbling, weakened, unable-to-form-one-sentence in front of Ovi or Purvi is the card used for the mis-communication to continue.

With that, I have justified both Purvi and Arjun and I am done and I stop.

So, it is all CVs way of dealing with the ArVi track for a few more months unless viewers are going to make a big hue-n-cry and make them change their plans. Remember the spamdomain video? When the jurno asked, "So, next will it be your Pavitra Rishtha happening?", to which Rithvik replied, "Oh No! it is going to take 2-3 more months". So, they have already planned it. ArVi track will most probably culminate at around the same time ArMan divorce will come to an end. Until then brace yourself.

Without being pompous I would like to state something that I noticed. The issue is I watch the show standing outside the perimeter of the show and you guys from inside. Because of that I can watch the show from external view and can understand why a character is acting/behaving in certain way and why and what the CVs are trying to achieve. I know that my way of watching is not the recommended way. Only advantage I have is, nothing of such display of injustice/rudeness on screen effects me. I think the way you guys watch and write is the right way simply because that is the only way to influence the CVs and bring about a change. So, more power to you guys.

I am here for the long haul and will watch until I get B-O-R-E-D of the show or don't find anything of SUBSTANCE trying to decode CV's collective brains.

Bee, thanks for reminding us of Rithvik's comment, this torture has an end in sight at least! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Loved your comments and your post, this one as well as the earlier one, great insights. Maybe your way is the best way to watch it, that way we won't get emotional and all worked up about these fictional characters.
Please do write in as often as possible as a cool head that watches from the periphery can always point something out that we in the fray have missed.

They are young and immature and are making mistakes but they will end up together , unfortunately , as always , it will be Archana's head that will go down on the guillitone .

It is in Archana's kundali, the poor girl. Yes, she will pay the price either way, they both are her daughters, one wins, the other will lose and Archu will bear the brunt of it.

@janhvi dear hahaha I can never be offended by your posts re ๐Ÿ˜† don't worry.
Sometime I wonder is DK phone call a mere coincidence. I sometimes don't get a sign.On seeing the Scenario,DK instantly said ok about Arvi and then left to Australia. Has DK gone to Australia ? could that phone call be some way for Arjun not to talk to Ovi ? Could the Client in hospital be a setup ?
Guess when u see Ekta's show you need to expect the unexpected here ..๐Ÿ˜†..I so hope I am wrong and DK is spared here..๐Ÿ˜†

Dear Jai, thank you for that :) I am glad ๐Ÿ˜Š you are too nice.
Yes, that DK is kind of shady, his saying okay to Purvi right away did look a bit susupicious but then Arjun threw in his trump card, Aashna. So who knows?

Dear Munni,

Thanks a million for saying exactly what I would have wanted to say but did not, for I write too much anyway. A beautiful, cogent and lucid post. If I do not add 'convincing' it is only because it is very difficult to convince anyone whose heart is in another place. They are fully entitled to have it there, of course, and in the meantime, your exposition makes a lot of good sense.

selfish - Lacking consideration for others; concerned chiefly with one's own personal profit or pleasure.-----egoistic - self-seeking - self-centered - self-centred

Arjun, is considerate for these 2 girls... his intentions were not to gain any pleasure or profit by hurting these two ' he is drowning in guilt by hurting each one of them..

Arjun agreed to marry Ovi only for her happiness...he decided to go ahead with the relation..even though he was not in love.. he never knew what the future has in store for him

He fell in love with the girl who changed him inside out..who showed him what happiness is..who showed what trust is ..what love is and what humanity is..and what relations are...Is he at fault to fall in love.. or is it in his hands not to fall in love or is at his disposition to avoid falling in love... love is divine and Arjun fell in love ...is he at fault of cheating on Ovi by falling in love with Purvi..who happens to be her sister

now with 2 girls ...one of whose heart he is bound to break... he tried to call Ovi even before confessing to Purvi.. does that show that he is selfish...

-If he was selfish and self-centered... he would be the happiest man today..and two timing them.. but today he is despondent and desolate and dire... he is drowning with guilt for hurting these two girls... I don't see any traits of his selfishness...

- why was he taking enough time and space to tell Ovi about his and Purvi's relation... because he is sure of what Ovi will go through when he tells her about his love for Purvi.. he is trying to make her comfortable and tell her in a relaxed way and making sure she will not be hit with the news like a thunder .he was preparing Ovi as what she is going to face... I don't see him being selfish... i see him as considerate and as kindhearted and as passionate as any selfless person would be

- and if he was being selfish by hiding the truth from Purvi... then he should be happy by breaking Purvi's heart...he should be fine with the engagement.. he should not call her.. he should be offended by her harsh words and by her slap... but he never felt offended... because he is in love and he feels guilty for hurting her unintentionally... I do not see him being selfish here,...

- he is considerate to both of them...he is guilty of hurting them.. his intentions were very clear of not hurting either one...

here again, i would like to add my most favorite lines

In life, we always want best for our loved ones, but even with best intentions in heart, we still do hurt others.. such is life and it's zillion shades... that is what Arjun is doing..

I totally agree that Purvi has gone too far with her anger, screaming, blaming and what not with Arjun. she blast him everytime Arjun wants to clear the misunderstanding.
I am sure that if I was in Purvi's shoes, I will be very upset and cry my heart out and close my doors for Arjun. I would not even go to his work place. All strings will be detached.
Purvi screams and is so hyper and does not even give a chance to ther other person to talk. She has never spoken calmly when she is upset with Arjun (atleast he is the only one I have seen her deal with something that irritated her). Who does she think she is? Boss of everyone?

what about kumkum-sumit. the best pair ever. i am not getting into comparisons but despite some hellbent efforts from renuka and other fools they stood strong and that is what we call true love atleast u should listen to what others say. Purvi better maintain this position and leave arjun alone. He will be happy without u. Childish ovi love is much better than after understanding everlasting love.

omg what a wonderful comparison

they did have some huge highs and lows but both of them never crossed the boundary when it comes to respect or understanding for that matter which is completely missing between arjun purvi..

purvi is not a girl with a patience or control over her tongue which can be seen when the workoholic boss entered or when she faxed at the OWNER's personal residence. only EK CV's can bring up stuff like tis which wud be tolerated by seniors.
