The new Manav!

Hello everyone,

I've been a silent reader/member for a very long time, but I've been wanting to post something for quite a while now. I stopped watching Pavitra Rishta for about a month because I got busy with school and stuff, I had all the shows recorded so now I'm finally all caught up to the latest episode. At first when I heard about Sushant leaving the show, I was pretty upset. However, I just wanted to give some crazy props to Hiten Tejwani. Not sure if all of you feel the same way, but I think Hiten is doing a wonderful job playing the role of Manav. Of course, I miss Sushant playing the role of Manav, but for Hiten to come play the role of Manav way later on in the show even after knowing the crowd is already obsessed with Sushant as Manav is a big step. I just wanted to say that he's doing a great job, no one can take the place of Sushant but Hiten has definitely gotten in the skin of the character. Thought I'd share my opinion, sorry if this post should be posted somewhere else, I don't come on IF too often. :)

yeah i too like him playing the role with maturity...Both Hiten & Ankita
are doing a good job..I like seeing them together.They make a good pair😊

I love Hiten playing the role

the role is the same but Sushant's portrayal and Hiten's seems to lend a different flavour to the same character.

If I were a glutton for the character of Manav, I would want to see two editions of PR played from start to finish by Sushant and Hiten respectively.

Sushant added a boyish charm to Manav. Sushant's infectious smile draws you into see the beauty of his acting.

Hiten adds a self assured strong silent husband charm to Manav. Hiten carries his character off with such self assurance and confidence that one cannot help but be curious to see what this man will do or how he will behave next. I have only watched three epis of PR in recent few months and they were depicted by Hiten. I had dropped PR for good. Hiten made me curous and then he delivered. So whenever the story is good I see the epis for Hiten.

the good thing is that Ankita's portrayal of Archana is done such that it does not matter who is portraying Manav. so still feels like one is watching the old PR.

Agree Hiten sure is doing a fab job as Manav father of 3 kids...His assertive, confident and mature personality draws me to like this actor & character...

Hiten is doing a great job!
He is a bit older than the others, 37 years actually
That makes him about 19 or so years older than Ovi and Teju, so he has that majurity in him to pull of acting as their dad
Also, he was in Kyunki as Karan and in Kasauti as the replacement Anurag, where he had grown up kids and grandkids. He is the cutest onscreen dad :D
