Outside at a temple
People are preparing for the Ganesh festival at the temple. Pictures of Bappa statue are there at the temple.
Deshmukh House
Archana, Sulochana, Savita and Sachu are sitting down in their home. Manav comes inside the home and says aai, Archana, Sachin, look what I have bought. Manav has brought some clothes for each one of his family and he has put them in gift bags. Manav has brought clothes for his family in honor of Bappa's day. Savita comes and asks Manav, what did you bring? Archana comes and says to Manav, what is all this that you bought? Manav says they are new clothes for all of us so we can wear new clothes for Bappa's day. Manav gives his mother her gift bag with her clothes inside. Savita is happy about her clothes and says to Manav, it is great, you bought my favorite color. Manav gives Archana her gift bag with her clothes inside. Manav has another gift bag with clothes inside and says to Sulochana, aai, this is for you. Sulochana smiles. Sachu comes in the main room and says baba, where are my clothes? Manav stutters and says to Sachu, for you. Savita says you did not bring any clothes. Manav says to Sachu, I got you the best clothes. Manav gets out the gift bag and gives it to Sachu. Sachu is happy to have clothes and says, I will wear it right now. Sachu is about to leave when Archana stops him and says one second, first you will take a bath and then you will wear it. Archana tells Sachu to take a bath. Sachu says but aai, I took a bath yesterday. Archana says oh, you took a bath yesterday? Archana says to Sachu, tell me one thing, did you eat dinner yesterday? Savita laughs. Archana says to Sachu it's ok, I made you Puran Puri yesterday, but today you are not going to eat it, so we will give it to someone else. Sachu says no aai, I want to eat Puran Puri. Sachu says so I will take a bath right now then after that I will put on my clothes and show them to my friends. Archana smiles and says ok, and says to Sachu to go and take a bath. Sachu leaves to take his bath. Manav says to his mother, aai, today I have also sent clothes to Vandu's house so she can wear. Savita gives her son a nice stroke and says you did good beta, now Vandu will be happy. Manav says Bappa has done so much for us so I should do something for my family. Savita says my Vandu is very fortunate. Savita strokes Manav's cheek and says she has gotten a great brother like you. Archana and Sulochana smile. Manav says ok aai, you should get ready or else we will be late for the Ganpati festival. Savita says ok. Manav says Archana, one minute. Manav says I have a surprise for you. Archana says you have a surprise for me? Manav says yes. Manav and Archana go to their bedroom. Archana says what surprise Manav? Manav says why would I tell you, it's a surprise. Savita is in the main room and looks at the Ganpati Bappa statue. Savita folds her hands and does a prayer. Savita thanks Ganpati Bappa for giving Manav a very happy life. Savita says you are always with Manav in his happy and sad times. Savita says that's it, I do not want anything else. Savita is done with her prayer to Ganpati Bappa. Savita says Sulochana tai, let's go and get ready. Savita says to Sulochana in an excited vice to get your new clothes to wear.
Ajit's house
Vandita and Rasika are at their house. Rasika is standing in front of the mirror and is wearing an old saree. Rasika is very happy and asks Vandita very nicely, how is my saree looking on me? Vandita smiles and says aai, this saree is looking great on you. Rasika turns around and says to Vandita sadly, this color does not suit me. Vandita says really? Rasika looks at another new saree and evilly smiles. Rasika smiles at Vandu, and says Vandu, should we do something? Vandita says yes, aai. Rasika says you can wear this saree. Rasika gives Vandita the saree that she had been wearing. Rasika says and I will wear the other saree. Rasika tells Vandita that the color on the saree will suit you. Vandita looks a little hesitant but smiles and says ok aai, you can keep this saree, and you can wear it. Ajit comes inside the house and is standing at the front door. Vandita says and I will wear this saree. Vandita wears the older saree and Rasika is happy that she gets to wear a new saree. Ajit asks what is going on? Vandita is very happy to see Ajit and tells him to come inside. Vandita says I will show you something. Ajit is looking confused. Vandita says to Ajit, dada has given us clothes, our sarees. Vandita holds out a red kurta, and says to Ajit dada has given you this kurta. Vandita asks Ajit, how does this look on you? Ajit gives his mother a look and Rasike smiles at Ajit and gestures him to be nice. Ajit nods and says to Vandita, yes it looks good. Vandita smiles and says it is good? Vandita is really happy. Ajit has an angry look on his face.
Deshmukh House in Archana and Manav's bedroom
Archana is in her bedroom. Manav has come inside the bedroom and Archana asks Manav, where are you going? Manav has clothes in his hands and says I am going to the washroom to change into my new clothes. Archana says I was going there too to change. Manav says that's good, we can both go in to change, and we can help each other, team spirit. Archana smiles and says to Manav, everyone is here. Manav says so what if everyone is here, we can still do it. Archana says you have become very naughty, and says you can go and change first, and I will change later. Manav puts on his pleading face and begs Archana to come and change with him. Archana gets convinced and says ok, I will come. Manav is happy and can't believe it. Archana says but under one condition. Manav says what condition? Archana says you can tell me the surprise. Manav smiles and says I will not tell you that. Archana smiles and says so then I will not go. Manav says Archana, please come. Archana is smiling and says I will not come. Manav is standing behind Archana's back and comes up and hugs her very tight. Archana is stuck in Manav's hug. Sachu comes to watch this and says now I will tell everyone that baba is on aai's throat. Archana and Manav try to stop Sachu but Sachu has already left. Archana and MAnav smile at each other.
Dharmesh's house
Vaishali and Dharmesh are at their house. Dharmesh asks Vaishali, but Vaishu, what is the need to go over there? (He is referring to the Deshmukh House for Ganpati festival). Dharmesh tells Vaishali that we can celebrate Bappa's day over here, and says why should we go there? Vaishali says what are you saying Dharmesh? Vaishali says every year our whole family is together to celebrate Ganpati Utsa. Vaishali says this year too. Dharmesh says no, this year is different. Dharmesh says every year your husband used to do the preparations. Dharmesh says not that useless mechanic. Vaishali leaves the area in anger. Dharmesh says this year Manav is doing what I used to do every year. Dharmesh says Manav has snatched all of my respect, and my position. Dharmesh says but not anymore. Dharmesh says now I will not let this happen. Dharmesh says I will not let this Manav make me look bad, not in any condition. Vaishali says me and my kids are going, and you can do what you want to do. Vaishali says ok? Vaishali leaves the room. Dharmesh is looking angry.
Inside the Ganpati Bappa temple
Manav is inside the temple looking at everything. The place is all decorated and lit up. Archana comes and asks Manav what are you doing here? Manav smiles and says I am just looking around, and says the dream I had dreamed for such a long time is now being completed, and says it is all because of Bappa that my dream is being completed. Archana says yes Manav, it is all thanks to Bappa that your dream is being completed. Manav says my dream would not be completed without you. Archana says Manav, I am always with you but not just me, our whole family is with you. Archana says ok, now we will pray to Bappa with our whole family. Manav says I have a lot of people invited other than our family. Archana says who? Manav says I will not tell you. Archana is begging Manav to tell her but Manav tells Archana that it is a surprise. Manav says I will not tell you what the surprise is.
Inside the temple
A lot of people are entering the hall of the temple. Manav and Arcchana are standing in a side and are greeting everyone. Sulochana and Savita are standing on the other side and fold their hands to everyone as a greeting. Dharmesh is also coming to the temple. Archana, Manav, Sulochana and Savita all look angry to see him. Dharmesh goes right past all four of them without greeting them. Vansita comes with her daughter. Vandita is looking very nice in her clothes and hugs her brother. Vandita also hugs Archana. Ajit and Rasika are standing together. Both are looking very annoyed. Rasika fold her hands to Sulochana and Savita. Sulochana unhappily folds her hands but Savita does not. Manav and Ajit give each other hard stares. Ajit folds his hands to Sulochana and Savita and leaves. Varsha comes and is very happy to see Archana and Manav. Varsha immediately picks up Soham upon seeing him and picks him up. Manav asks Varsha about Satish. Varsha says jeeju, Satish had to leave for some important work. Manav says ok, at least you come. More people are coming and are being greeted by Archana, Manav, Sulochana, and Savita.
Inside the temple
Everyone has reached the temple. Everyone is standing in front of Bappa statue and are folding their hands in front of him. Archana and Manav are standing next to each other while praying. A pandit ji comes and does a ritual by holding out a tray and moves the tray around. While the pandit ji is doing holding the tray out in front of Bappa, everyone has their hands up and out. Some religious songs are playing in the background. Now everyone is slowly clapping their hands. Dharmesh is standing behind Sulochana and is doing the prayer too but he has his eyes closed. The pandit ji is still holding out the tray in front of Bappa.
Karanjkar House
Vinod is coming inside his house with some gift bags. Some friends are following Vinod inside the house. Vinod is shouting Ganpati Bappa! The friends behind him shout Mourya! VInod shouts Ganpati Bappa, a few more times and they shout Mourya! Now Vinod says, Mangal murti! The friends shout Mourya! They continue their chant as they come inside the house. Manjusha is at her house and she has a tray. Manjusha puts on a red tikka on Vinod's forehead and then throws some petals on him. Vinod says Ganpati Bappa! Manjusha says Mourya! Vinod says Mangal murti! Manjusha says Mourya! Vinod says Ganpati Ba. The Bappa staute is not very well balanced and it almost falls off. Everyone is shocked. Vinod tries to get the Ganpati Bappa statue on the table. Manjusha is happy for a second. But something wrong has happened to Ganpati Bappa statue's hand. Vinod is very upset. Manjusha looks at the guests and looks very embarrassed. Vinod says softly, Manju. Vinod says Bappa's mourti broke. Vinod says a finger broke. A guy in the house says this is very bad. A lady says yes, yes this was bound to happen. The lady says in a house where a mother is treated very badly, why would Ganpati Bappa want to live in a house like that? Manjusha is angry and Vinod is sad. Manjusha asks the guests, what nonsense are you saying? Manjusha tells the guests to be quiet and says nothing like this happened. Manjuaha says we have invited you here so we can do Ganpati Bappa's prayer, and says if you don't want to do it, then you guys can leave. Manjusha says we do not need you. Vinod says Manju, what are you doing? Vinod says at least so not insult them. Vinod says one minute. Vinod says to the pandit ji, is it bad for mourti to tear off? The pandit ji says yes, and we can't do Ganpati Bappa's puja until it gets fixed. Manjusha says pandit ji. The pandit ji leaves the house and all of the other guests leave following the pandit ji. Vinod is very sad now and says how could the mourti brake? Manjusha says Vinod, please do not worry, calm down. Manjusha says look, this was not done on purpose, and says you had just made a mistake. Manjusha says and look, just a little bit of the finger broke off. Manjusha says Bappa will forgive us for this mistake, he is very understanding. Manjusha says look, we will do a puja for Ganpati Bappa. Manjusha tells Vinod to fix your mood. Manjusha is very happy but Vinod is still looking very sad.
At a dance stage
Archana and Manav are watching a dance performance. Sulochana is dancing on the dance stage as well as some other people. Varsha and Vaishali are also watching the dance. Some people come up close to the Bappa statue and bow down in front of him. Archana and Manav are both clapping. Savita is now doing a dance. Savita is dancing with some other men. Archana, Manav and Vandita are smiling and clapping for Savita. Now some other dance is going on. Sulochana and Savita are dancing next to each other. Sulochana and Savita are waving out some things from their hands. Sulochana and Savita hug on the stage.
Outside the temple by the Deshmukh House
Aashna and DK are getting out of their car. They go inside the temple. DK says, everything is so empty here. DK says to Aashna, I think we're late. DK says, this is the first time I have ever been late in my life, I don't like this. Aashna says DK, now don't get irritated. Aashna explains to DK that we had gotten stuck in traffic, so what can we do? Aashna says and everyone takes Bappa to their home today, so of course there will be lots of traffic. DK asks a man, excuse me, where is the Ganpati Bappa function going on? The man says right here, we are coming too, you can come with us. DK says ok, thank you. DK reads a sign right by the entrance. DK reads the sign which says those chawl people who did not sign last month, this is their last notice. DK looks up at the chawl and thinks to himself that the chawl people must have a lot of problems. Aashna comes and taps DK. DK says yeah? Aashna says let's go. DK says let's go, come. Aashna and DK go inside.
Inside the temple
Everyone is at the temple. A friend of Manav's comes (I think it is Karan from Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli) and goes to Manav and tells Manav that the decorations are fantastic and says super. Manav smiles and says this is all because of Bappa, first tell me why you came late, and says why did you come alone? Karan tells Manav that Abha is taking a long time to get ready.
At the dance stage
A lot of men come to the dance stage and start doing a dance. Savita is clapping very hard. The men are doing a dance together. The stage lights are lit up and it is very well decorated. Now the screen splits in half to show the left side is the men dancing, and on the right side shows the women dancing. Sulochana and Savita are sitting together and are smiling and enjoying. Vandita, Ajit and Rasika are also enjoying the dance. The men are still doing their dance, they are moving their hands and their whole body. Vaishali is enjoying the dance. Dharmesh is staring. Rasika is dancing. Archana is enjoying the dance and claps along with them. Vandita is dancing. Savita now gets up and starts to dance. The men now start a new dance on the stage. Sulochana is sitting down clapping. Aashna and DK enter the big hall to where the dance performance is going on. The dance is over and petals are thrown across the dance stage.
At the entrance
Manav and Archana come to greet Aashna and DK. Manav says hello sir. DK says sorry for coming late. Manav says no sir, you took time out of your busy schedule and that is enough. DK says ok. Aashna tells Manav that you dance very well. DK says to Manav, she's right, you dance quite well. Manav says thank you sir. Manav says come in sir, I will introduce you to some of my friends. Archana talks a little bit to Aashna.
Outside the Deshmukh Chawl
Savita and Rasika are walking outside the chawl. Rasika is saying to Savita, tai, Manav arranged a very good function. Rasika tells Savita that all of the decorations, and food are all top class. Rasika says to Savita, tai, can I ask you something? Rasika tells Savita that buying all of this must have been very costly. Savita says one and a half lakh rupees. Rasika is shocked and says my god, that's so much spending. Savita asks what the need to be shocked is, my son earns good money. Rasika says but tai, this whole function could have been done at the house, right? Rasika asks Savita what was the need to show off? Savita says angrily we are not showing off Rasika tai, understand? Savita tells Rasika that my son had once had a dream to do a Ganpati Bapa Utsa, understand? Rasika says really, and asks Savita did your son see that dream or did your daughter in law see that dream? Savita asks what is the difference? Savita says whether it was my son or my daughter in law, it both means the same to me. Rasika says tai, I have said this before, and will say it again, you are very nave. Rasika says you do not understand anything. Rasika tells Savita that your daughter in law Archana is trying to get her dream complete by using Manav's money. Rasika says Manav will do whatever Archana tells him to do. Rasika tells Savita that Archana is taking advantage of Manav. Rasika tells Savita that just like Archana has put Manav in her trap, she will slowly get everything on her name. Rasika says I will give you some advice. Rasika says if a mother in law wants to be good in her home, then the son and the daughter in law need to fight. Rasika says if the son will keep fighting with his wife, then he will stay in his senses. Rasika says or else? Savita says angrily, Rasika tai, you close your mouth. Savita says I am very happy today. Savita says do not ruin my mood. Rasika says tai. Savita says I know how my daughter in law is. Savita says my daughter in law is the best daughter in law in the world, I know that. Savita says she loves me and my son a lot. Savita says they are very close to each other, that until my death comes, I want to see them happy. Savita says if anyone tries to get them separate Rasika tai, then I will not spare them. Savita says if you want to stay quiet, then stay quiet, or else take a u turn and leave. Savita leaves and someone shouts Ganpati Bappa. Savita shouts Mourya! They do the chant a little more. Rasika is standing very angry that her plan had failed to get Archana separate from Manav and Savita.
At the dance stage
Sachu is sitting with Vaishali, Aniket and Varun. Sachu says to Vaishali to share more stories with him about Ganpati Bappa. Varun says yes aai, we also have a day in school where we will need to write about Ganpati Bappa, and says please tell us the whole story. Vaishali says hearing the story is fun, but it is way more fun to see it. Vaishali tells the three kids to watch. A lady and a man are on the stage. The man is sitting down with his hands folded. The woman and the man stand up together, and they move around. The man goes and bows down to the lady. Another guy comes out with a sword in his hands. Sulochana, Vaishali, and the kids fold their hands. The guy comes out and does a dance with his sword. Some other men come up with swords in their hands. All of them men do a dance and bow down. Aashna and DK are enjoying. The kids are clapping very hard. A lot of people come on the stage and run around the Bappa statue. Petals are being thrown around the stage floor.
Karanjkar House
Vinod was watching the dance performance on his TV. Manjusha comes in and says Vinod, I heard Manav Deshmukh is doing a very big celebration of Ganpati Bappa in his chawl. Manjusha says if Manav keeps on spending money like this, then he will be living on the streets. Manjusha laughs and Vinod laughs too. The TV is still on. Punni begs her mother to take her to do Ganpati Bapa's darshan. Ruchi says yes. Punni says and also, we are having our days off from school, please take us. Manjusha gets angry and says no. Manjusha says can't you see how much rush there is? Manjusha says no one will go there. Punni and Ruchi look sad. Manjusha tells her kids to study inside your rooms and says your midterm exams will be starting. Punni whines to her mother that we want to do the darshan. Manjusha says angrily I said we were not going to go. Manjusha says you guys have been whining a lot these days. Manjusha says look. Manjusha gets a phone call on her phone. Manjusha says whose phone is it? It is Rasika on the other end. Manjusha goes to a corner and says yes, aai. Rasika says Manju, are you coming to the darshan? Manjusha says no aai, I will not go. Rasika says to Manjusha that you have gone crazy. Rasika says you have such a good opportunity to make them jealous. Rasika asks why are you not going ahead with it? Manjusha asks her mother what she means. Rasika says the family is enjoying, so you also come with Vinod. Rasika says and you show them too that you are not any less happy. Manjusha explains that her kids are now very upset. Manjusha explains that I can't see my kids so sad. Manjusha hugs her kids. Vinod looks confused as he know something is suspicious. Manjusha smiles and says we will all go and do Ganpati Bappa's darshan. Manjusha tells her kids to get ready and tells Vinod to get ready. Vinod has a confused look on his face.
Outside the temple
Manjusha, Vinod, Punni and Ruchi are getting out of their car. One of Manjusha's friends comes out to meet her. She tells Manjusha that her new car looks nice. Manjusha says we got it yesterday. Manjusha asks how is the color? Manjusha's friend says you guys have become rich people and says Vinod's job must be going well. Manjusha says we both are doing good in our jobs. Sulochana and Savita come and see this. Manjusha spots them. Manjusha decides to taunt Sulochana and she says loudly to her friend that she threw away a waste in our house a while back. Manjusha says ever since the waste (Sulochana) has left the house, then mine and Vinod's life is going great. Manjusha says we are just getting more and more happiness in life. Sulochana looks sad and Savita looks angry. Manjusha says not just a new car, but in our house we have a new A/C, we have a new fridge, new TV, new washing machine, and says we have got a lot of new things. Savita is getting angrier by the second. Manjusha says you should come to our house one day. Manjusha says let's go. Sulochana says to Savita to leave it. Savita says one minute. Savita shouts for the watchman. Suddenly Punni and Ruchi spot Sulochana. They shout aagi, aagi. Manjusha says where are you going? Manjusha tells her two kids to stay put over here. A watxhman comes to Savita. Savita says to the watchman whose car is this? Savita decides to taunt Manjusha right back and says to the watchman to tell the owner of the car that only good and rich cars get to park here. Savita says to the watchman to have the small cars park somewhere on the street. Savita says if they refuse to listen, then tell me, understand? Manjusha and Vinod are angry. Savita says for the watchman to tell the owner of the car that she will throw out their car. Savita says to Sulochana, what type of people come in with these vehicles? Savita says they don't have a brain to know where to park their car, and they just come and bring their car here. Savita orders the watchman to tell the owner of the car to remove the car. The watchman says to Vinod, Bhai Sahab, will you remove your car from here? Vinod says yes dada. Vinod goes to remove the car. Manjusha looks disturbed. Savita says loudly to Sulochana so Manjusha can hear, I wanted to show them their value, and that's why I did this. Savita says let's go. Sulochana and Savita leave. Manjusha is upset.
Inside the temple
Soham, and the boys are running around. Varsha is trying to get a hold of Soham. Aashna sees Sulochana and greets her and asks how she is. Sulochana says I am good, when did you guys come? Aashna says we just came. Savita says DK sahab, thanks very much for the food. DK says please, don't thank me. Savita tells DK that you do not even have any time, and you took out time to come here. Rasika looks annoyed. Aashna says aai, this is our house function, how could we not come? Varsha is chasing after Soham when she runs into Manjusha, Vinod and their two kids. Varsha gets angry and says to them who are you people and why did you come? Varsha says as far as I know, none of us invited you right? Varsha says but you guys come without being invited. Sulochana and Savita look worried. Varsha says it is worthless to expect just a little respect from you guys. Varsha says maybe not respect but at least a little bit of shame. Vinod says before teaching us respect, you learn respect yourself Varshu. Manjusha puts a hand on Vinod to calm him down. Vinod says you have probably forgotten that you are talking to your vahini. Varsha says what vahini? Varsha says if I don't have a brother than where did the vahini come from? Varsha says if you don't want to be insulted more then please leave. Varsha says or else we will throw you out of this place just like how you threw my mother out of the house. Sulochana and Savita look upset now. Manav comes in and says Varsha, what are you doing? Manav says we don't stop anyone from coming in to a place where Bappa is worshipped. Varsha says but jeeju, these people? Manav says who are we to tell them to leave? Manav says please let them in. Manav tells Manjusha and Vinod to come in. Sulochana looks unhappy but Savita looks happy.
At the temple
Archana asks Manav to at least tell me now what is the surprise? Manav tells Archana to wait a little bit. Archana says no, how long will I need to wait? Manav tells Archana to wait. Another dance performance has begun. A husband and his wife are dancing together. Lots of people have now come on the dance stage to dance. The husbands are now dancing with their wives. Varsha, Vaishali, Aashna and DK are clapping and enjoying.
Outside the temple
Manjusha, Vinod, Punni and ruche are going outside back to their car. Manjusha is very angry and tells her kids angrily to sit down. Manjusha and Vinod are about to sit down when Rasika comes. Raiska says Manju, what is wrong? Rasika asks why are you guys leaving so soon? Manjusha says what do you want aai, we have been insulted so much, and you still want us to stay here? Rasika asks who insulted you? Manjusha says that Savita Deshmukh. Manjusha tells her mother that Savita had insulted her about her car being small. Manjusha says and we went inside, then Varsha came and she said so much to Vinod and I, I will get her one day. Manjusha says and then on top of that Manav came and tried to act good. Manjusha says that Manav was telling Varsha to let us do the darshan. Manjusha tells her mother that no one left a chance to insult us. Rasika says look Manju beta, do not make your brain small. Rasika says they will need to pay for insulting you. Rasika says and I will not spare Savita, and says she loves her son so much and says one day she will stop loving her son. Manjusha says aai, you do what you want to do, and if you tell me to come here one more time, then see. Rasika tries to calm Manjusha down but Manjusha tells Vinod let's go, why are you standing? All of them leave. Rasika is looking angry.
At the dance stage
A lot of people are dancing. Dharmesh comes over to Ajit. Dharmesh asks Ajit, how are you? Ajit does not respond. Dharmesh says I know you do not want to be here, and says if you have to do something against your will, then you will be upset. Dharmesh says I am also feeling upset. Dharmesh asks Ajit if after the dahi handi function, if he was tired. Dharmesh says because you lost the challenge? Ajit says angrily, I did not lose. Ajit says if Sachin had not been there. Dharmesh tells Ajit that Manav had won and he became good in everyone's eyes, and you had lost and worse than that you had been caught. Dharmesh gives Ajit a pat and says it must feel bad to lose. Dharmesh says you probably want revenge. Dharmesh says to Ajit, if you really want to take revenge from Manav, then I can help you. Ajit says and how? Dharmesh smiles and says just do as I say. Dharmesh says then see what happens. Dharmesh tells Ajit not to be careless this time. Dharmesh says to Ajit, if you support me then we both can teach Manav a lesson. Dharmesh says because he is both our enemies. Dharmesh says that useless mechanic is out of our trap and making us look bad. Dharmesh says the time has come Ajit that we show him his value. Dharmesh holds out his hand to Ajit. Ajit slowly takes out his hand and shakes Dharmesh's hand. Dharmesh thinks in his head, if you are someone's enemy and somebody else is your enemy then you can be friends with that person. Dharmesh says this is why I friended Ajit. Dharmesh thinks I will make Ajit do bad to Manav and I will ruin Manav. Dharmesh says not just professionally, but personally too. Dharmesh smiles. Another dance is going on.
At the Bappa stage
Archana and Manav go up to the stage. Archana and Manav fold their hands in front of Bappa. A dance begins following. Archana and Manav also do a nice dance.
At the seats
When Archana is done dancing, she goes to sit down with her mother. Archana asks her mother how did it go? Sulochana says great. Archana says aai, I am very happy. Archana says I had never thought we could never do this much for Ganpati Bappa. Archana says today Manav's dream is completed. Archana says today we used a lot of money for Ganpati Bappa. Sulochana says this is all because of Ganpati Bappa, and I always say Ganpati Bappa never lets bad things happen to good people. A man comes over and says to Archana, excuse me maam, I want to meet with Manav Deshmukh. Archana stands up and says Manav is a little busy, tell me what you need from him. The man says I am the manager of this place, and Manav had given me some rupees to pay and I need to return some money to him. The manager says if he is busy then I can give it to his mother. Savita immediately comes. Archana says no, actually his mother is even more busy than he is, do one thing, give me the money. Savita squints her eyes in confusion. Archana says I am his wife, Archana. The manager says ok, then I will give it to you then. The manager gives the money to Archana and says this is your 18,000 rupees. Rasika appears at the right moment (am being sarcastic of course😆) Archana says to her mother aai, it is good that I got the money. Archana says if the money got in aai's hands (Savita) then I don't know what would have happened. Savita is looking a bit angry and Rasika is smiling. Sulochana says what do you mean? Archana says I mean, that aai could forget some money and leave it somewhere. Savita is now a little upset and Rasika is standing next to Savita smiling observing her expressions. Rasika whispers Savita tai, aren't you watching? Rasika tells Savita to watch what is going on. Rasika says you do not listen to me, and that is why Ganpati Bappa showed you your daughter in law's real colors. Savita is now terribly angry but not at what Rasika said, but at Archana. Rasika says and what have you seen, just keep on watching and see what happens. Archana is telling her mother to keep the money with her and says if the money stays with you then there will be no tension. Savita is getting angrier by the second and Rasika is getting more and more excited as per watching Savita getting angry. Archana leaves. Rasika says tai, this mother daughter (Archana, Sulochana) will keep their whole money and you will not even know, understand? Sulochana is looking happy. Rasika says a samdan is a samdan and they should know their samdan boundaries. Rasika says to Savita but you have kept Sulochana sitting and dancing on your head. Rasika says just keep watching, Sulochan tai will create havoc and you will only regret. Savita does not say anything in Sulochana or Archana's defence but remains quiet and stares hard at Sulochana. Rasika is as happy as can be.
At the temple
Manav and Archana are in the temple. Manav tries to talk to Archana but Archana says do not talk to me. Manav says why. Archana says you lie a lot, and you said you would give me a surprise and the whole function is almost over but no surprise. Manav says there is a surprise, the function has not yet finished. Archana tells Mansv to give me the surprise. Manav says no Archana and stutters. Archana says no excuses. A dance has started. Kareena Kapoor has come. Sulochana and Savita are sitting next to each other but Savita only cheers with everyone else. Manav shakes Kareena's hand and says thank you so much for coming. Manav says Archana, surprise is yours. Manav shows Archana to Kareena. Kareena Kapoor is the surprise for Archana. Archana tells Kareena that I am very happy that you could come here. Kareena says thank you. Kareena says I am very happy to see you Archana and MAnav and thank you for having me in such a big event. Kareena says that I heard your two mothers are living with you Archana. Manav, Kareena, and Archana all do the ritual for Bappa. The kids are very happy to see Kareena, and want her autograph and photograph. Kareena says today no one will get autographs or photographs. Kareena says because I am giving you tickets to my new film Bodyguard. All of the boys are very happy. Kareena tells them to watch that film and personally tell me how you liked it. Kareena explains that Salman Khan is the hero. The kids are very happy. Now a drum performance has begun.
At the temple
Savita holds out a tray and holds it in front of Ganpati Bappa. Savita gives Sulochana the tray. Sulochana holds out the tray in front of Ganpati Bappa. Next comes Archana and Manav's turn. Sulochana suddenly starts feeling very ill. Savita goes to take care of her. Vaishali and Dhamresh do the ritual next with the tray. Dharmesh passes the tray on to Vandita and Ajit. Vandita and Ajit are next to do the ritual for Ganpati Bappa.
Deshmukh house
Savita comes inside her house. Savita goes to her bedroom.
At the temple
Everyone is still doing their prayer to Ganpati Bappa. Sulochana is feeling very ill. Varsha does the ritual with Rasika.
Deshmukh House
Savita goes to her bedroom closet. Savita is looking for something but then a piece of paper falls out of the closet. Savita looks through some bank papers about the FD that Manav had made Archana sign on her name. Savita reads Archana Manav Deshmukh's signature on the FD paper and looks a little confused. Savita smiles and assumes that all of the other FD's are on my name. Savita reads another paper with Archana's name on it and is shocked. Savita's eyes get wider and wider. Savita goes through paper by paper and finds Archana Manav Deshmukh's name written on the FD paper. Savita says every paper is written on Archana's name. Savita says none of them are done on aai's name. Savita is extremely angry and nods her head in anger.
