Yeah lunzi, I'd like it, if Manav snaps and blasts the obnoxious sisters. Poor thing.. he wanted to play wid his kid. Unfortunately he's too much in love wid his knuckle headed wife..
I want to see more scenes of Manav wid Soham. :( I demand this from cvs!!! 😳

Totally agree . She may be bad sister but she seems to be good mother . Deeply attached now to Soham . Just the way Dharmu is bad hubby but good father to Varun now . The two issues simply cannot be mixed .

Did NOT see Archana managing two kids well AT ALL today . She neglected sachu like hell . She fumbled and bumbled .Seems like with Archana...it will either be bypassing Sachu for Soham or bypassing Soham for Sachu . .SHE WILL BE UNFAIR TO ONE KID IS WHAT CVS R TRYING TO SHOW .

So why give Soham to her ? Everything really is NOT about Archana .

Manav's dialogue that I come home EARLY FOR THE BABY touched my heart . Like lunza said , my mouth too fell OPEN when Archana told him AAP SHAANT RAHIYE .

Manav should NEVER come home early and baby shud remain with Varsha . May all women watching this understand clearly that when u give up ur children , there r serious repercussions .

I agree, the part where Manav was telling off his wife was very touching, and his anger was totally justified, how could Archana let Varsha get her baby?

What can we expect from Archana, she tells everyone to shannt even when it is time to panic. If Varsha thinks of taking Soham back and Manav tells off Varsha, Archana will definitely tell Manav to shannt and start a crying act which will make Manav feel sorry for her.

Slapping a wife is never a good thing but I want Manav to seriously scold Archana, and be firm with her on this Soham matter. He should not go easy on her in this matter at all. Satish should also go hard on Varsha, bhavna was really right yesterday, while she put Varsha at blame, she also knew Archana was at fault too.

Yes Kool Di, babies aren't toys which should be given up. I know Archana is going to want to keep her baby for a few days and once Varsha starts crying Archana will give Soham back.

I hope Manav steps in and gets a lot of say in this and his mother too. Both Manav and Savita should toughen up on Archana and Satish and Bhavna should toughen up with Varsha. Or else these 2 sisters will just go scot free all the time. Both sisters need to realize that Soham is not a toy.

Okay so finally I am here with my comments. But before that a point to ponder.

The CV's started by developing this track differently. They wanted to show that Archana and Manav give away their kid forever to Varsha, the way Shravani gave away Sachin. This is what Ankita and Sushant also told in SBS interview. We got proof of it in the show as well- in one scene, Satish was teaching Soham to call him Pappa. The characters were also developed to suit this story- Manav archana and the Deshmukh family looked happy and content with Sachu, with no major yearning for Soham as such, as they had acknowledged him as part of the Joshi family, though Manav was not majorly happy with it.

Suddenly, the CV's twisted the whole story in just one episode by showing that the matter was something else. As such the whole matter ended up looking like we were shown one film but in the end climax was of some other film. As such I don't want to compare the characters behavior shown in previous track and apply it in this new track- to each his own, but personally I feel it doesn't make sense to make derivations from one story and apply it to another unrelated story. It is quite obvious that CV's have forgotten the previous track too and are ignoring it, and are regretting they don't have the erase button to erase the way they developed the character to suit the previous track.

As such, as of now, I will not say ArMan are disinterested in Soham, which I was saying earlier when this track had started. And similarily, my views on Varsha are changed now too- earlier I had myself said that she deserved Soham. Now I will be only viewing the characters according to the way CVs want to show them NOW.

This is what the CVs are showing now:

Archana Manav had a baby and they were very happy, Varsha developed a liking for the baby, started pleading Archu to let her take the baby home for a day, Archana hesitated but finally Varsha's pleas made her agree. Varsha however, continued this trend, keeping the baby for longer periods. Manav didn't like this one bit, but Archu silenced him each time for Varsha's happiness, though inwardly she yearned for her baby too. In the meanwhile Varsha got very attached to the baby.

Okay finally coming to what I think about the characters based on above:

Archana: This character never amazes to shock me. Varsha kept taking her baby away and she never said anything? Huh? I mean HUH? People fight even if their favourite things are borrowed and not returned in a day or two and this Archana did nothing about her BABY just so that sister should not be upset? This is heights of being ridiculous! What about Manav, Savita and the rest whose happiness she put at stake? Not to forget the baby? Seriously disappointing and I really wonder why the CV's are butchering her so much.

Varsha: This has to be the most selfish character in the history of television. She was always the most selfish wife, mother and DIL, and now she went a step ahead by manipulating her sister- knowing her immense love for her- and using it to get the baby. Once she got the baby, she developed closeness and now the baby is so attached to her that he cannot live without her! Wah! She is not only a selfish woman, who kept a child away from his mother by making excuses everytime his parents demanded him back (though the greater fault here is of Archana and Manav for encouraging her behavior and not demanding their baby back), but she also is a selfish wife who first killed Satish's baby and then didn't even adopt a proper baby to give Satish and his parents a proper child in the house. She was happy with Soham and that was it for the rest of the house!

The way I see it, Varsha developed a fancy for Soham (just like she didn't like those poor children on the streets or the other children in the orphanage, but liked that one little girl only) and took him home like a toy, and LATER developed some sort of attachment and motherly feelings and possessiveness for him. Even now, its all about HER, what SHE wants and that no one should have him- she screams and shouts that she wants him back with her in HER house, away from Archana, rather than saying to Archana, let me stay here with him, he won't be able to sleep without me. More than motherly love, I see it more as another whim of hers- as if she is USED to Soham and can't tolerate him with anyone else.

Archana no doubt has been terribly disappointing in this track. I don't know which sort of mother lets other people take her child home. The way Varsha kept on saying 'Soham won't be able to say without me' why could Archana say that to Varsha in the initial days, especially cos Soham was much younger then? She puts her family and her sisters above others all the time and this is what is the main source of problems for her. Granted Varsha has been unfair, but I would say the greater mistake is Archana's- the world will always be evil, you cannot complain about it or cry about it if you are actually helping it flourish. One has to learn to safeguard their kids from the people around them, which Archana clearly didn't do!

All the same I am not very sure of Varsha being a GOOD mother. All the arguments which have been presented till now, sorry, but I disagree with all. Reasons already mentioned above- she is selfish, period, and this track only proved it more. She ONLY thinks of herself- she doesn't care about parents, sisters, Satish, in laws, no one- unlike Dharmesh who has occasionally shown he cares for some people. Varsha's rage problem is still there, and even today she treats Satish and others badly and has scant respect for elders like Savita. Even the kid was brought more as a toy to please her- I guess MOM Varsha didn't think of the baby and his needs at that time when she kept him away from Archana in the initial days- I can picturise the kid wailing for Archu (cos he must have been used to her earlier) and Varsha still not giving him back. Okay, she didn't care about Archana, but did she consider at that time what the child needed? NO! She just wanted HIM! (Now please dont say it was Archana's mistake for not thinking and all that, I know that already, but that doesn't lessen Varsha's mistake in anyway). She kept him longer and longer until the child finally got used to her! (I haven't seen the episode so I don't know how big the baby appeared- if it was less than 6 months- then it means that by keeping Soham away from Archu, she denied him of breast milk too- being from this medical field, I couldn't help pointing it out- sorry!)

I would wait to watch the track ahead to see whether she is a good mother or not. As of now, nothing has convinced me that she is a GOOD mother, and that eventually Soham should be given to her. Just cos she shouts that she cannot be without him, I cannot accept it that her love is the truly motherly kind, or that she is good. Yes, she has taken care of him well.

But overall, between Varsha and Archana- I would still still say Archana's mistake was greater. Much much greater. But Archana's mistake does not let me overlook the fact that Varsha herself is no bechari or doodh ki dhuli hui in this whole mess.

Manav and Satish: Classic DUMBOS and WIMPS. Honestly, I felt bad for Manav when he said I come home early for my son, but then dude, why didn't you DO ANYTHING about it ha? How about being 'bad' for a while, going and taking Soham from Varsha's house and telling her that this is my child not your toy please adopt a kid if you want a child so much?!? How could you even accept Archana's stupid plans! Didn't you feel like meeting your child too? Huh!

Satish is another hero! Itne din kuch kiya nahi? Was your brain sleeping all these days Satish that you let the two dumbo women continue with their stupid ideas? One more HUH!

At the end, I would say this:

Soham should be given to Savita. She is the only one who genuinely wants him and she has a right over him too. And she is the best person who can take care of the baby- she has a mature side to her too.

All the other adults need big time reality checks- Archana Manav Satish and Varsha. Varsha also needs counselling. she needs to let go.
