Yes, I got that:-)). I guess my point is nothing wrong in going to work even with kids:-) As long as we are able to balance the work/child time. Of course she may not go to work if she feels MIL won't look after her adopted kid well. Is that what you meant?

Hope, Varsha and all the others, agree with your post. Varsha may genuinely want to be a mother now, but she needs to give it some time before taking any decision. Spend time with kids, maybe do some baby-sitting and see if that's what she truly wants. While it's not fair to judge a person by their past actions, those actions can't be ignored either. To me, it still seems like it is some kind of a fad for Varsha-to achieve something she can't have. And I'm afraid once she gets it, a child in this case, she will not be interested any longer. Maybe that's not the case this time, but she has to take the time to decide for sure and Satish-Bhavna also need the time since they're all part of the family, especially Satish.

About Bhavna wanting a pota, I still don't think she means she wants only a grandson and not a granddaughter. If a girl is born, she will be celebrated the same way as a boy--I'm pretty sure about that. Pota" is a manner of speaking, so please dont judge the character as being gender-biased until there is more proof. Like, for example, if Varsha gets pregnant and the sonography shows a girl child, then if Bhavna tells her to abort, then I am all for throwing stones at her. Or if she agrees for adoption and insists on a boy, then again I'll agree. But until then, it's not fair to judge a character on their manner of speaking. I know a lot of people who say they're looking forward to have their "grandsons" play in their laps in my native language. I also know that they dont mean that they prefer grandsons over granddaughters, just that it's kind of a way of speaking, more like a tradition. Opinions have changed, biases have changed, other cultures and traditions have been adopted as one's own, but language is the same right? It's the same speech that has existed for centuries in India. In this case, I find Bhavna to be a sensible, if overbearing person who will listen to reason when told in the right way and once she's given the time to heal. Everybody needs to step back and do some thinking, see what their priorities are while continuing to spend time with children like Varsha's doing and also getting expert help to see if there is any way to help normal conception.

Yes, let's see what Bhavna's reaction is, I will decide then when she was being gender specific. For now, I will take it at Face value😃. I also disliked her reaction on adopted kids, calling them laawaris and being generally dictatorial. Anyway, lets see what the future holds. I used to find her sensible but not the last 10 episodes - forcefully taking Varsha to a gyaec, etc. Anyway let me not go to repeat mode.

I disliked it too. But maybe coz I only read the written updates and dont watch the show, the most vile things become a lil muted for me. And I don't care to remember all the details, I only remember the basic story and not all the details. So I maybe missing somethings, but I will still give it sometime before making Bhavna a monster.

Varsha wants to be a mother at any cost. You are right in some parts, but she is really desperate for a child and she wants one because she wants to be a mother, and to keep her family happy.

I don't think she is being a monster just highly unreasonable and at times dictatorial of late. Lets see what happens in future..Again, I don't analyze the TV characters and their future acts as they are not real people...So to I just take all this at Face value and see what the future holds.

A very good post indeed and very good points.....somehow thought of sharing my own personal experience here for the first time after seeing these posts......though I do not have a child so far but my sister's children are my children.....and love kids somehow I don't have the courage to go for adoption...have always loved kids all my life but when it comes to this I shudder at the very thought of it...its a huge responsibility and its not only through adoption you can show your love for kids or do your good deed to society.......i would say a chidless couple going for adoption do it more for themselves rather than anything else..
and here I would say Varsha has never ever used her brains while making decisions...and this is a huge huge responsibility which Varsha cannot handle for sure...

Certainly Adoption is not the only way to give back. Not all people are made for it. Childless couples do it for themselevs but they also feel a sense of gratifcation giving back even though the intention is to have a child for themselves. I at the same time know of couples who adopt after having their own child(ren). I would love to but its not easy.
Satish would make it work even if Varsha can't. I don't know how they will portray Varsha in the future, let's see.

everybody makes mistakes thats a part of life. varsha did and now she is paying for it but at least she realise its a mistake and trying her utmost to rectify it. i dont see nothing wrong with adopting a child. as far as her mother in law is concerned take a chill pill.
