Kool di, Loved the individual dissection of each character agree to all with the exception of Savita.

Anyone would have done the same thing if in position of Savita's. When the son is in jail money wouldn't be a priority...justice and his release would be which the company is from nowhere promising.

Had watched Parineeta this weekend...Shekhar reminded me of Manav...not in persona but for being the worthless hero. Girish was million times better...but shekar was lolita's love and the chosen one. Similarly manav here is the chosen one...everyone wants him to be the hero...the man worth archana's undying love. Unfortunately he's obstinately not becoming one...the hatred and anger is more out of frustration of him repeatedly doing everything against one's wishes and expectations. It is the constant hope of him rising into a hero that makes the hatred too not so deep rooted.

Shravani's character looked through in perspective of audience psyche is hated because she is the reason the entire standard of the leads was diminished. In character, I would disagree in calling Shravani a victim. Her sufferings are as much self-inflicted as that of the leads. Shravani instead of believing in herself chose to be taken over by man for looking after her and her child; she further chose to fall in love knowing he is in love with somebody else. She tried to demean a woman from the position which was rightfully hers then and today still wants to be in a relationship where the possibility of receiving love and respect ever is bleak. So by no means she is a victim...because she has chosen to lead a life like this. If this threesome fiasco exists today...it is due to the active and wrongful participation of all three.

I personally do not relate to any of these characters realistically coz none of them are deep rooted in soul. A child is termed as soft clay...to be moulded in a desired shape for the rest of his life. These characters will forever remain in this nascent stage...moulded according to the wills and fancies of the writers. They will never be consistent in nature coz there is no value structure of their own to fall upon.

PR is down in dumps. The litmus test for a show's failure is when everybody is a hero except the leads. What a move ekta made by investing in promotion of divorce track people put money for making profits she did to make losses. i feel like to roll in laughter. Ekta Kapoor has got success because she relishes the fruits of Indian society but unfortunately none of her shows retain their glory for long coz she never understood the roots on which this very society grew on.

We DONT see Archu asking these questions . Manav is crazy about HIS IMAGE as a MAN OF HIS WORD and Archu is crazy about MANAVS GOOD OPINION OF HER . To keep him PLEASED with her she goes to ANY BLOODY EXTENT ..........she divorced , SHe AGREED TO MARRY ANOTHER MAN instead of telling him GO TO HELL .

Today we see her telling EVERYONE I WILL NOT LISTEN WHERE GIVING MANAV HUMANATARIAN HELP IS CONCERNED < ALTHOUGH I HAVE IZZAT FOR U GUYS .Well why was this SAME ANSWER NOT GIVEN TO MANAV ?

She is risking an ARMY's Anger today , but she cudnt risk Manav the NAMBY PAMBYS anger ?

Archu is EQUALLY At fault .EVeryone had options , even she . We see her standing firmly by the right thing today , well she shud have stood firml;y by the right thing THEN .The Right thing was NOT listening to manavs BS but firmly refusing to give up on her marraige , kjust like Vandu and Manju did .

Kool Di , totally agree on this. Why did Archu listen to Manav on the divorce stand. No woman would have let this happen if they were in love .

Great Commentary today and Archu deserved the bashing for her above fault . Somebody
should do this to Manav also , so that he also realizes .

Yes , he loves him and gives him the usual "elderly" respect .. the same way as mano and sulo .. but thats just about it ..

With damo being a drunkard and unemployed ... the responsibility of running the household fell on manav and savita ... and hence manav listens more to his mom and pretty much snubs his dad..

Damo was probably more like an errant child , whom they sometimes indulged , sometimes ignored ...
Manav probably fathered his dad during his teens rather than the other way round ...

divorce him then,I 100% agree archu has to be asked this and both ARMAN
should realize they made the big mistake of divorcing each other.But
they should have asked it before when archu's life was at stake,during
divorce period,they should have been strict enough at that time and not
now alone just because jay's family will feel bitter or K's family name
will be at stake in soceity.

And Rassi being on Ajit and archu side will be more interesting as
already a manupilator(jay) exists on dharmu side.

Varsha,These days asusual insensitive to sathish,insensible and adamant.Great dissapointing after her marriage.

Poor sathish.Suffering himself due to his guilty conscious.
