Kool Di and saffy ,It was a Nice debate .Both of you rocked by siding
to your view and with the points stated.

Di,Totally agree with you that ARMAN should realize the mistake of not
respecting marriage and should get together only afetr realizing the
value of marriage.So correct there.

But regarding archu having a choice,as you said she had a choice which
doesn't suit to her character whereas she left with no choice with
respect to her character.She would have said no and have a strong stand on marriage but then will manav love her the same way he used to do in the begining when she do like that.I highly doubt it and that why she giveup on her marriage.She tried by ever means to stop it in those three months stay and vocally said it to him also.but after that too manav was strong in his stand.That why she had no other go,whereas here character is concerned.

for me too as saffy said,Sharavni was insentive to other feelings(damo and manav) and so as damo insensitive to sharavni feelings.If damo was a threat just like archu to shravani,then she would have handled damo in the same way.As he is not a threat,she is behvaing good to him.

Saffy,Well said about shravani and damodar issue.Nice post on it.

Yes , he loves him and gives him the usual "elderly" respect .. the same way as mano and sulo .. but thats just about it ..

With damo being a drunkard and unemployed ... the responsibility of running the household fell on manav and savita ... and hence manav listens more to his mom and pretty much snubs his dad..

Damo was probably more like an errant child , whom they sometimes indulged , sometimes ignored ...
Manav probably fathered his dad during his teens rather than the other way round ...

Excellent summing up and that was precisely my point of criticising Damo yesterday . Your son is in JAIL , He is BEATEN up ..........and you are gloating that this is Bappa's CHAMATKAAR ? Does Ganpati Bappa have no kaam dhandas than to put innocent people in jail and give them third degree so that they can be united with their EX ? And what about Shravani ? Your sons........Sachin Manav r partly responsible for her fate ! She is sitting there , waiting , looking at ur faces as elders of the family , how about feeling a teeny weeny bit responsible for her as an Elder in whose house she is staying as that household made some promises to her ?

How would Varsha feel if Bhavna constantly said Archu Archu , I had decided Archu as my bahu , How I wish Archu was here instead of u ? Constantly this man purposefully talks of the eX BAHU in front of honewaali bahu and when she says enuf is enuf she is BAD !

If Damodar loves Archu so much , why didnt he leave the house and go with her when she left ? Why didnt he disassociate himself from that Manav who snubs him all the time and doesnt give a dime's worth to his advice ? Arre , why take it out on that gal with this kind of comments ? Shravani has been hundred times nICER to him than both Manav Archu put together who say I RESPECT U BUT I CANT LISTEN TO U . Thats just a PHONEY WAY OF NOT GIVING A PERSON ANY VALUE .

Just before the jail , she had made up her mind to concentrate on jaywant and ignore Manav . This is happening because he is in trouble ...

I am glad that Vinod said this , better late than never , but he should have said this long time ago and now he should understand that emotions are not like a light bulb that you switch the button off and they go off.....

After the way Archu was always encouraged for her rishta with Manav , it is only natural that she will stand by him when he is in jail .

That loan has been WAIVED aside by Dharmesh , their vERY OWN RELATION . Pointless bringing it up here now . In todays circumstance what Vinod said was TRUE . Better late than NEVER . Archna needs to hear it very badly . She has embarassed three families with her stupid actions of calling Manav to engagement , I hope she gets a slap from Sulo in this week . She divorced so obstinately , that scene is still before my eyes . This girl needs reality checks . Shravni is getting hers , Even Archu shud get .So Shud Manav . When Archu goes to jail , the full K family shud gang up on him and tell him HE DESTROYED HER LIFE .

Oh , I think the K-company will blast manav royally if archu goes to jail .....
Manav is never going to hear the hard truths from his own family .. k-gang should do the honours ...

Exactly di,Thats where he should be blasted and if he tries to save archu,he should face what archu is facing now and realize they are to be together,if they want to be there for each other at hard times and if cant bare seing each other at pain at any cost and if they love so much.

I want 2 say that this is wat i feel too. U know why? coz Manav doesnt bhave like a gadha like Archu. He's always in control. U guys find concern 4 Archu when he says: dont get into trouble 4 me, but 4 me it's just a way 2 play safe. The guy stil has his responsibilty in mind n knows wat n who is waitg 4 him once he's free. It's only archu who is ready 2 put her life at stake 4 him.
Now if Jay is turning evil n hating the guy u think it's devilish. 1 can b uncontrollable n bhave irrationally when one's ego is hurt n Jay is no mahaan n more human.
Of course u guys know i like Jay but not more than Arman n blieve me i'm not being biaised here😳

Thanks Umi ,so much - I did not see ppl reading my posts,maybe I wrote too much - thanks for reading ! I also agree with you that Vinod an Sulo's blasting Archu was a bogus as it was driven by Dharmesh's remarks,what were they doing on the day of divorce ? I wrote a long post on it in SOTD and specifically did not vote for Vinod on that
