If u ask me . Girish came across as an ordinary man who is NOT THAT BAD once more .

Today Girishji came across as a sensible man, who could see his daughter's irrational behaviour and thought it necessary to stop Shravani. Anybody could see that Shravani was getting wild for all the wrong reasons and so he acted upon to stop his daughter's irrationality which was harming Shravani's image more than anyone else. He has no reason to dislike Archana and can see Archana's goodness unlike Shravani. He could see that everyone else in the house has started loving Archana and they are getting hurt by Shravani's demand too.

But that does not negates his shrewd behaviour in past like when he came to know that Archana has said 'No' to divorce Manav, he told Shravani that he has to think of something ( meaning inspite of knowing that Archana got rid of her misunderstanding for Manav and wanted to come back to Manav, Girishji wanted to device a way to stop Archana from coming back in Manav's life because he wanted his daughter's life to be secured). I know he was being 'Practical' and acting in the interest of Shravani, like a father should do but in my opinion it was unethical and selfish demeanour – to safeguard his daughter's future at expense of Archana's future.

And that does not negate his insensitive behaviour in past when he forced Manav to get engaged to Shravani in presence of Archana when both Manav and Shravani were against it. He did not spare a thought for Archana's pain to see her husband getting engaged to another girl. He brought his friends along and looked happy on the engagement day while being totally oblivious to Archana's feeling. There was nothing good about Girishji there either.

Lastly his sugar coated dialogues to Archana before he asked Archana to let his daughter get her rights. Did he ever think of being nice to Archana before? No, because he had no need, because he knew Savita hated Archana so much and Archana has no place in the house. But now that everyone has started liking Archana and his daughter is getting threatened by Archana's goodness, he becomes nice to her and pleads her for his daughter's happiness with folded hands. He knows perfectly well that if Archana decides to get selfish here then there is no chance for his daughter to be with Manav, so he talks to Archana tactfully in an attempt to safeguard Shravani's future once again.

Just few days back he was questioning Manav that why Archana was still living in the house and why all family members are giving her so much importance and he hinted Manav that Archana should leave. It's OK if he questions why Archana was still living there but why should he be bugged by the importance Archana is getting by family members? Girishji is not a bad person but some of his actions are calculated and are not exactly nice either.

BTW Archana is behaving ridiculously in front of Shravani these days but development in future tracks cannot be used as a basis for past debates as we have no control over future developments. We can only debate with the facts that are given so far in the show. Like sympathizers of Shravani are getting pinched too with Shravani behaving so wildly but its understandable development in the character and in the story so no need to feel bad.

Seems like Father is nicer than daughter and does NOT have her snob element ?But all in all , an unrealistic scene

Ur analyis abt messed up Archu is Sooo true.........abt how Chubby never got intutions when she slept with insects and jumped in Dombivli suicide lake

Savitas empty campaign promise is SOOO true...........

PR SUCKS NOW .I think by the time divorce comes . no one will CARE if Manav Archu stay married or divorce .

Kool for you anytime. your right even I find this show boring now. tomorrow more rona dhona. first the two crazies then the soulful duo and finallY i think Shravani will cry on manav's houlder and archu will come to give her a hanky to wipe her tears. mother Theresa (bless her soul) did not hold a candle to this charachter.

Savita has no control over anything. She thinks she does. the women is powerless. she just does not realize it.

I eat a portion of humble pie where girish is concerned and I am waiting to gorge down the rest if he wakes up and takes his daugher away from the alternate reality kidn of life. of course sans manav as he is the main part of that reality.

I don't think Archana will let anyone stop the divorce . Subconsciously Archu wants to leave the house for Shravani now . She knows that she can never compete with Sachin's baby so might as well leave when everyone is crying for you and loves you and is saying a fond good bye to you ...

I think divorce will happen next week. it is set in motion and cannot be stopped now. we will see though.
