Precap HS-Mini convo

Definitely seems to be about Ashok.....lol

Final nail in the coffin. Waise bhi ab formality ka hi rishta reh gaya hai.....they are so distant with each other.

Aur yeh special HS 2.0 ab suddenly Ashok ko bhi samajhne lag gaya hai.....lol....so his final act as "guide" will be to help "guide" Mini to reconciling with her Papaji Ashok🤔

So many inconsistencies in the writing....few weeks back, HS didn't even want to talk about Ashok when Babita would bring him up. Also a month or so back, HS himself said he doesn't want to talk about Imarti if Babita brought Imarti up.....now he himself brings Imarti up for any reference point....like he did today for KC also.....and suddenly Ashok reference will be back again per convenience. LOL

The writing is so put on without any proper flow or build up to whatever "point" they want to make. If they wanted to finally show that Ashok had his own "valid" perspective for why he grew distant from Babita and their marriage failed....there were better ways to build up to it than this. What is this? After weeks of besotted husband HS busy coddling Babita, now suddenly we're going to get an HS who has magically realized Ashok's perspective? 😕😆

Every single relationship has left a bad taste in the mouth.....kisi ko bhi dekh kar jee khush nahin hota ab.

Yeah, it feels too good to be true that HS would be talking about himself, but still I just can't believe they are doing this to his character. (I can't imagine how Aniruddh must have felt mouthing those dialogues).

The writers can't be that good to us, can they? We've been dying to know since the wedding what was going on in his mind but they haven't bothered.

And now, he's going to talk about Ashok. The way he said "Vishwaas karegi uspe"... why would he refer to himself that way.

And damn, the background music was so positive... as if a good thing was about to happen. So suddenly she will forgive Ashok too?

Sirf HS ko forgive nahin kar paayegi, na apna maan payegi. As you said, maybe this is his last great act as a guide to lead her back to that Ashok.

The CD incident is done and dusted....guess we don't expect anything there.....other than possibly using it again to set up a contrived final falling out to again rehash the same repressed issues between HS-Mini. But I don't think they will bother with that anymore.....these two have fallen into this weird formal "friendly" dynamic.....ab jo bhi hai, itna hi hai. Full stop.

Based on this precap, to me toh it definitely looks like they are setting HS up for martyrdom/sainthood with this last turn of events.....lol.....beti ko uske biological baap se milvaa ke he will find "closure"....ki khud baap na ban sakaa but Mini ka biological baap toh hai🤔.....what a ghatiya twist.

What forgiveness, man? Abhi bhi isi point pe atke ho aap? This isn't about forgiveness anymore.....distances have crept in and neither party tried to actively bridge them. Period.....so sab khatam. Blaming Mini for not "forgiving" him is pointless now. To forgive you need to talk, interact.....woh hi kahaan hota hai.

Today's scenes looked so random with them suddenly interacting and trying to behave like a team for KC.....when they haven't otherwise talked properly since many days......I barely recognize these versions of them.....sab put on hai.

Ab toh I think it's more likely that they will set the stage for Mini to go seek Ashok, find closure with him jaise bhi.....while HS-Babita will basaao their sukhi sansaar aapas mein. Sab khush apne aape mein.

Waise bhi aaj Babita ne bol hi diya that her world is only HS.....lol so I don't think Mini leaving will matter much to her....all she needs is HS to cling to and worship with rituals....and he's happy to be that pacifier for her to cling to.

I understand what you mean. Perhaps a part of me just finds it difficult to believe that after everything they've been through together they wouldn't put an effort to mend their relationship. Father-daughter na sahi par family to ban sakte hain as they were before, ya phir uss mein bhi interest nahin hai?

Does Minnie not meaning anything to HS anymore? Wasn't he, i.e. HS 2.0, the one who said his heart would break if he were to lose her? So is there now an HS 3.0?

Thank you for atleast understanding this much. Otherwise the popular narrative is to only pile on Mini for not "forgiving" him.

If a relationship actually matters that much, you fight for it.....neither of them did that.....if people think she didn't forgive him, he also just gave up over one MU about "baap nahin ban sakaa", didn't he?

Instead he's day in and out talking only about how Babita is all that matters to him.

So why blame Mini alone then? The writers chose to let HS-Mini's relationship fade away into some abstract "guide-mentor" relationship in the last stretch. This "family" now is only HS-Babita......the three of them didn't fight to integrate one another into the family dynamic.....HS-Babita became a couple while Mini became a seperate entity.....and nobody bothered bridging those gaps. HS akele ko kya dosh dena.....did Babita bother? And she supposedly is the mother.....lol but all she cares about are stupid rituals to prove how pati is #1, rather than building a proper family that has perception about all three members....not just naam ke rishte. It's frankly shameful and embarassing to watch a woman be reduced to this level of mindlessness in the name of "love".....doesn't matter how nice the guy is.....this is pathetic behavior from a woman.

As for HS-Mini....that this lame formal "guide" mode is a disservice to HS-Mihi's entire evolution is apparent to us....but the writers don't care. They want to continue the story at this cost only.......HS's past storylines just don't seem to be an option for them, no matter the potential there that was once built up so well.....but overnight squandered.....so everything has to turn towards Mini's blood relations as per the writers.

The Ashok that no one gives a shit about is now going to be whitewashed.....and they will use HS to do it....as if that will make us buy it....what bakwaas.

That HS disappeared with the GP episode I guess. Just yesterday as I was watching old scenes, I also chanced upon the scene when HS warned Mickey to mess with Mini and said if he ever sees a tear in her eye, he will thrash Mickey.

Ek woh HS tha, ek aaj ka HS hai.....just drifting through life....makaan maalkin ki dhun mein magan.....lol

The writers will never admit how they are showing an HS who barely gives a shit about Mini these days.....they will try to spin it as some "mahaan" thing he's done by sacrificing his own love for Mini in reconciling her with her "father"🤔......both him and Babita will be just fine with Mini leaving.....koi khaas lagaav nahin bachaa.

The constant repetition of "baap na ban sakaa, baap na ban sakaa" is ringing in my ears....the intent was never to show that just cuz you think you're not capable of it means you can't be a father.....the intent was always to leave HS with a feeling of incapability about being a father and Ashok remaining the one "actual father" for Mini.....*gags*

@bold, even if HS is only her guide/friend, woh bhi to dhang se hona chahiye. A mentor/guide holds a special place in someone's heart. Yahaan to woh bhi nahin dikh raha hai. So why should she listen to HS and why should he try to guide her about anything at all? Doesn't add up.

Yeah, all the unexplored facets of his past are just going to remain there. I now feel Imarti was only brought up to showcase Minnie standing by him, and not for the sake of HS himself. DAMN.

I can't let go of the anger at this point and if they use HS to whitewash Ashok, that would be the lamest. No man would say that about his wife's ex-husband when he has seen exactly how he behaved, especially considering he's a police officer.

This HS who does everything to hold on to the people he loves, it is impossible that he would not do what he could to work towards bonding with Minnie. But writers have their own ideas. He had told Lala that it would take time to become Minnie's father and he seemed to have the intent, but anyway, that will be conveniently washed over by the writers too. As you said, no matter what they do, it won't make us buy it.

I seriously haven't seen such a fall from grace in terms of writing, EVER. They had such high standards that the difference is just appalling.

@bold yes, when that initially came up, I thought it would be about him faltering, making mistakes but eventually learning. Just as Babita and Minnie have learned things over time.

'Actual father' my foot. I won't forget the hospital scene - both the consent form and the chat between them - or how he was worried as she was taken in, or how he ran to her when she was brought out of the OT. There was no pretense or malice there and as HS rightly said, Ashok wasn't even concerned what happened to Minnie.

And now he gets to sweep in and be Minnie's father without working for it, with HS' deepest insecurities and fears coming to the fore.

Ashok was the guy who, when his daughter was harassed by Manmeet in college, showed up to ask her to take her case back....who didn't give a shit that she was resting after a severe headache and trauma🤔.....yeah, THIS is the guy who's perspective on shaadi we need to understand. Sure.

As for learning.....lol Babita ne kaunsa kuch seekh liya? She is back to square one as well.....so then how was HS going to get a chance to "learn" anything.....he's a designated "Non-Baap" now according to the writers.

Even without the baap label, they didn't bother integrating him into the family.....so it was just supposed to be a disjoint, disparate set of ppl coexisting together briefly....Patiala Babes in a nutshell.....family is a farce. LOL

As to why this HS is behaving this way nowadays, it could be one of the following:

1. He gave up because he failed and lost the fight in him even if he still wants to be her father - that's not been clarified by the writing but it's made to look like it.
2. He only cared about Babita and not about Minnie, as per the writers, which I will never believe
3. He had a setback but long-term deep down still wants to be her father but prefers to let it happen organically - this would be in character for him but I doubt the writers want to show that.

I think this is the point I will find hardest to digest out of all the weird things that have happened on this show. I have a mind to ask Aniruddh why HS has become like this.
