Problem isn't that ki Mini is self absorbed and thinks she is right. It happens in teenage, especially with her case where there's been no one to tell her right from wrong.

But the problem is the direction of the plot that proves her right every fcking time. Like seriously? Writers have this notion engrained in their heads that Mini is NEVER wrong. Do we have teenagers writing the show?

Forget Mom. Someone my friends have taken the surname and I haven’t. It’s the choice we all made. No one has been forced.

My husband even asked me that what surname do we want to keep for our daughter? I said keep yours coz it’s short. Tomorrow we have another kid and we give baby whose surname? If everybody in the house has different surname, immigration documentation get so tiring. It’s not practical. Let’s go with what’s easy.

so I am modern and practical. I like the freedom and ease of doing things. Complicate mat karo.

Exactly! KK are depicting sensitive topics in such a harsh light. They could've done so much better (they have, actually). This is hurtful. What are people supposed to take away from today's episode?

Mini is well justified to to take up the catering business issue with Babita, but not the surname issue .

Babita should have the independence to decide her own name .

And a name does not make someone have own identity or not . It is the strength of the individual's character.

Most probably , writers are aiming to bring a big fight /difference between HS and Minnie leading to the 5-year leap and departure of the actors .

Hence the Minnie's negative attitude towards HS and HS turning into typical conservative small-town husband .
