Before I forget, I had this idea, before everyone departs, shouldn't we have a Forum Awards giving phunny titles to everybody? It might make for a nice farewell to us and to the show.

I changed my surname post marriage.. not because my husband wanted to or the society expected me to.. in fact it was an important decision for me considering I come from a broken home.. did I ever compromise on my Independence? No.. did my husband cripple my growth? Definitely not..

I was really wary of marriage due to my parents separation and as weird as it may sound, it was Shahrukh and Gauri's marriage that made me believe that it wasn't the institution of marriage which is wrong.. my husband gave me confidence post marriage, the strength to do whatever I want to.. he was like you can work if you wanna.. stayat home if you wanna.. its up to you and at that point, it meant the world to me.. changing my nane at that point was more about my love and sense of belonging for him and this show makes it seem like I am somehow crippled because I wanted to share my husband's surname?!! What the hell?!

And a name does not make someone have own identity or not . It is the strength of the individual's character.

Most probably , writers are aiming to bring a big fight /difference between HS and Minnie leading to the 5-year leap and departure of the actors .

Hence the Minnie's negative attitude towards HS and HS turning into typical conservative small-town husband .

So now Khatri of all people will be proven right in saying that HS came between mother-daughter.
